Few Days Later

Jana’s POV
“Ni..’’ I sigh out as I walk into the kitchen. He stood at the counter, making the kids toast, while waiting on the bread to pop out. ‘’G’morning babe.’’ He says as he walks over to me, knowing that in order for me to make the full trip to him, it would take a little longer and more effort on my end.

Niall reaches me and the first thing he does is lean in for a kiss. ‘’Ew Daddy, Mama.. that’s gross!’’ Tori says from the table. ‘’Yucky!’’ Taylor replies to her. Niall and I smile against each others lips at their comments. He leans away and looks over at them.

He laughs as Tori rolls her eyes and Taylor makes a disgusted face by copying Tori’s previous actions, but we knew they were just playing around like always. ‘’Why do you do that Daddy?’’ Tori asks him, curiously. ‘’Do what?’’ He asks as he puts a hand on my waist.

She sighs, ‘’Why do you kiss Mama all the time?’’ ‘’Because, me and Mommy love each other.’’ He says, assuring her of the reason. ‘’Oh.. okay.’’ She shrugs then smiles before turning back around in the chair as she continues to play with the straw in her cup.

“Wait.. what makes you think I love you?’’ I whisper to Niall. He smirks before playfully rolling his eyes. He puts both hands on my waist and pulls me to him, my hands on his neck. ‘’I know you love.’’ He mumbles back as he leans down and brushes his lips against mine, our eyes closed like always.

‘’Nah.. I’m in love with some one else.’’ I giggle lightly, joking around. ‘’Mmm.. sure.’’ He whispers back before kissing me again, his lips have always been soft and tasted sweet, no matter what.

“Eww!’’ Tori giggles from the table. I smile lightly just as Niall slides his tongue through my lips. As soon as his tongue swipes over mine inside my mouth, I felt a sharp pain in my lower back. Instantly, I pull away, taking my hands with me, leaving him dazed as he opens his eyes.

I hold my hand against the small of my back. I groan lightly. Niall’s hand touches my belly, something he does when I’m having some bad cramps or pains like this one. ‘’You okay?’’ He asks me, furrowing his eyebrows.

‘’My back..’’ I mumble gently. ‘’You need to sit down, love.’’ He sighs gently as he puts his arm around my back, his hand on my waist, and holds my hand with his free hand as he guides me through the door and into the living room.

‘’Sit down.’’ He demands lightly as we reach the couch. I do as he tells me to, and I sit. The pain was almost completely relieved as the effect of sitting on the couch kicked in. ‘’You need some pain medicine?’’ he asks as he sits down beside me, on the edge of the couch.

I nod lightly and look over at him. He nods back before leaning to my forehead and giving me a simple kiss. ‘’I’ll be right back.’’ He mumbles before standing up and going upstairs to our bathroom, I suppose.

“Mommy..’’ I hear Taylor’s sweet voice say as the kitchen door opens. He pushes it all the way open as he walks in here. He sees me on the couch and he runs over to me, holding his arms open.

‘’Hi Mommy!’’ He squeals as I pat the spot beside me and he climbs up on the couch. ‘’Hey Tay Tay..’’ I reply, a smile on my face as he grabs my hand and starts to twirl my engagement ring around my finger, he told me that it was pretty a few weeks ago and know he’s obessed with it.

But the wedding ring.. he didn’t care for it, I assume it wasn’t as pretty because the other one had the big diamond in the middle. Besides, what did it matter he was two and he’s a little kid, but I think its cute. Niall, on the other hand, thanks its weird. But he’s Niall’s child, so you know where he got it from..

I hear footsteps, followed by Niall’s voice from behind me. I don’t look, I know its him obviously. ‘’Daddy!’’ Taylor says as he pushes my hand away and slide off the couch. He runs to Niall, who just got to the last step, and grabs a hold of his leg, like Tori used to do when she was younger.

‘’Hey bubs..’’ Niall says and stops all attempts of walking, I see as I look over my shoulder at them. He picks Taylor up and holds in his arm as he continues to walk over to me.

Niall sits Taylor down on the couch beside him while he handed me the two pain killers and a bottle of water, he got it from his nightstand I know because he always keeps one in there, just incase if him or I ever need it.

I take the medicine and drink a few sips of water to push it down my throat. ‘’Daddy!’’ Tori says as she pulls the door open. ‘’What?’’ He asks, looking over at her but soon looking back at me.

Niall takes my hand and holds it with both of his. ‘’I’m hungry.’’ She whines lightly. ‘’I’ll be in there in just a moment, love.’’ He assures her as he glances over at her. She nods before returning to the kitchen.

“You okay now?’’ He asks. ‘’Yeah..’’ I nod gently as he leans in to me and places a kiss on my temple. ‘’I love you, babe.’’ He mumbles before letting my hands go and standing up. ‘’Love you too.’’ I sigh back but I don’t even think he heard me.

He was preoccupied with picking Taylor up and talking to him to even hear me reply. But I guess it didn’t matter. He knew I loved him. That’s all that matters.
