Worries Seem To Fade Away, They Become Distant Memories
Chapter 5
DANI'S POV
Now I knew how Hanna felt. I heard Niall sob as I awoke. I knew what happened last night. Mistakes happened. I should have never done it. Never fell for Niall. He had his head in his hands as he sobbed. I sat up and rubbed his back.
"I'm sorry Niall, I should have stopped it." I said.
"I should have." He said as he felt my hand.
"We were stupid and dumb." I said.
"We are never as smart and we give ourselves credits." He said.
"And now we can't go back." I said. "I just missed having someone to love." He said looking at me.
"Maybe I wasn't the best choice." I said.
NIALL'S POV
"Maybe I should just leave." She said grabbing her dress.
"No." I said.
"Well things aren't what they are supposed to be between us." She said, running her finger tips through my hair.
“I just wish Hanna was still here. I mean look I’m a terrible father and husband.” I moaned.
“I think you’re doing a pretty good job.” She said.
“I just need a new start.” I said.
“It’s never too late.” She said as she kissed my cheek.
I grabbed her hand as I felt her fingertips one last time.
“I love you Niall for loving my sister the way you did.” She said as she opened the door.
“I appreciate the way you know how much I loved you sister.” I said as the door closed.
DANI’S POV
Last night was partly my fault. We shouldn’t have kissed. Now I looked at my phone and all my texts said NANI or CUTE COUPLE. Oh no. Paparazzi got pictures of us and our terrible scandal. I wished I had never came here or never have come back. He was not perfect for me. He was only perfect for Hanna. Last night was great but now I felt guilt. Hanna was probably looking down in disappointment and wanted to kill me for getting naked with her husband. Hanna was more than a girl to him. She was more like his half. He was missing his half. In the car I sat there and listened to the radio as it played, “She Will Be Loved”. I remember when Hanna told me about when she and Niall had their kiss in the car while listening to this. I ruined her love life. Entirely. But there was one thing Niall didn’t know about Hanna. Something hidden and dark that may come back to haunt him or refresh him.
