I'm Coming Home
Chapter Two
May 3rd
Harry’s POV
‘’You be careful, baby.’’ My mom says as she kisses my cheek. ‘’I will.’’ I nod a little as I kiss her on the cheek back. I’m twenty one, but I’m still proud to say I kiss my mom. I love my mother, we should all love our mothers. And we shouldn’t be ashamed.
‘’You tell my little darling that Nana’s going to come visit as soon as I get some time, okay?’’ Mom says as she smooths out the few wrinkles in my shirt. She still treated me like a little kid, and that was okay with me.
‘’I will.’’ I mumble as I put my duffel bag strap on my shoulder, pushing the bag behind me as I go to hug her. Gemma walks in from the kitchen and she holds her arms open as my mother lets go of me.
I turn to Gem and hug her, tightly. We always had a tight bond, and I was proud of that too. ‘’Love you Haz.. tell Katie auntie Gem will see her soon.’’ She whispers in my ear. ‘’Alright, love you too Gem.’’ I mumble back.
She finally lets me go and I open the front door. ‘’Love you!’’ Mom says. ‘’Love you too.. I’ll call when I land.’’ I say before walking out of the door. They stand in the door way as I go to the taxi that had been waiting out front, I didn’t feel like asking either one of them to drive my car back.
‘’Okay!’’ Mom says loudly as I get in the car and shut the door. ‘’Where to, Sir?’’ The driver asks me. ‘’Airport, please.’’ I mumble back. He nods and starts the car back up. As I look at the front door of my mother’s house, I see her and Gemma waving. I wave back and they smile brightly as the taxi drives off.
In a few hours I’ll be in Memphis. Layne and Katie will be surprised. I haven’t told them I was coming. So I hope they don’t have plans for the next few nights… especially Layne.
The plane ride took forever, it had seemed. It appears to me now that Memphis just gets further and further away every second… Nine hours has killed me, and honestly I was ready to get to their apartment.
I was exciting the plane when I got caught up by a small crowd of girls closer to my age. ‘’Please.. let me by.’’ I sigh out as the squeal and beg for me to take pictures with them. Any other time but now…
‘’Get out of my way, please.’’ I say as I push past them and hurry to the baggage claim. I wait until I see my suitcase and my duffel bag. I grab them quickly and begin the walk out front.
I had arranged for a rental car to be dropped off for me, so it should be here by now. I didn’t what to have no way to travel, so I decided it was best. I sigh to myself as I see people snapping pictures as I walk out of the door.
They all know why I’m here. Its no secret anymore. It never had been completely, but for the most part of Katie’s life, the public didn’t know where she lived. And honestly, that was the best thing.
But I assume those idiots finally realized it was here in Memphis. Gee.. why else would I fly here all the time? Idiots in the world today.. Ugh. They make me sick. I can’t stand a stupid person..
I see a man holding a sign that reads STYLES. I sigh in relief as I reach him. ‘’Here you go, sir.’’ He says, handing me the car keys. The key ring had the car number and a Memphis logo on a key chain.
‘’Thank you.’’ I mumble as he steps away and I go around to the driver’s side. I open the door and get in quickly, shutting and locking it, just so I know I’m safe inside the car. People are standing on the sidewalk, staring and continuing to take pictures.
I roll my eyes as I start the car up and head out on to the main road. Finally, I’m here. I’m going to see my little princess. I’m going to see my queen. I’m going to be with my family. I’m home.
