"the teacups"

Being blasted through the air, I had half expected my skin to gradually start peeling off of my face. I was afraid I would be walking away looking somewhat like a raisin that had been through one of my grandma's heavy dry-washes.

Trying to cling onto my poor exposed flesh, I wailed and I was certainly imagining myself coughing up one or two lungs. Somehow, though, I had managed to turn my head towards Harry — preparing my farewell speech — until I was stunned cold by his already strayed eyes.

However, we were still traveling at what felt like a million miles per second and I wasn't exactly certain whether to define my stomach flipping to that simple fact or to the fixed stare he held. Awkwardly enough, I still hadn't managed to controll myself and was still screaming graciously in his face.

His tanned face split into an ear-grazing grin and the hairs rose at the back of my neck as he grabbed my arms, forcing them up into the air much like his own. Suddenly he burst out into a loud yell of exhilaration, still sporting the same smile from before. Perhaps it was from being in the hands of the pumping adrenaline in my body, but something bubbled up from my chest — hurling up not vomit nor chunks of hotdog, but laughter.

Instantly, Harry and I were both hysterical as we embraced the maddening thrill and I decided, this wasn't so bad. But whether I was speaking about the ride or my partner, I had not yet clarified.

All too soon we were back from where we had started and the barriers the laid on our thighs, flew up above us. I tried to ignore the sinking of my heart as we were set free when not even a second after I had stood to my feet, our seats were already being replaced by two strangers. Looking up I noticed Harry's absence and realised that there musn't have been to much of a connection.

"Hey, miss? Your beanie, you left it on the seat." I spun on the heal of my food and eyed the guys hand as he thrust the hat towards me. Oblivious to his lack of patience, I slowly took it into my grasp and pivoted away from the ride.

Being my absent-minded self, I slid the woollen material over my ruined hair and looked around for where Olivia might have wandered off.

"You do realise that I could have head lice," I smirked and looked up, "plus, it's also slightly rude to steal from your amusement park buddy." I watched as he folded his arms and shifted his weight onto one leg.

"Well, I certainly wasn't aware of this." I mused and fixed a stray hair that escaped the headwear. "But I do think it suits me more, don't you think?" He cocked his head to the side and took this as a moment to eye up my appearance.

His head shook solemly upon his broad, leather-clad shoulders."Unfortunately, I must agree — although, there are conditions and responsibilities to it's ownership." He adjusted his leather jacket and folded one leg over the over as he leant against the gate which surrounded the large merry-go-round that stood within the park.

"Oh do enlighten me." I said, edging him on.

"Well, first of all, you must go on the next rollarcoaster of my choice." I admired his well thought out humour and giggled.

I blew raspberries out of my tinged cheeks in mock suprise."Must? Whew, strong language for a beanie, isn't it?"

"With great benies comes great responsibility." he uttered with a faint chuckle hidden behind him. "So, shall we?" He wiggled his eyebrows and motioned to his arm.

From his side, his elbow protruded out as an opening for my own arm and he stood in waiting as I pondered upon the scenario aimlessly. We both smiled as my tattooed limb slid into a chain with his own.

"Nice tats'."

This is kinda' a filler because I have a headache and decided to do two separate chapters instead of one whole chapter — it doesn't make sense but go with it... -mxndosus
