Never Imaginable

I don’t know. My brain is telling me ‘No, don’t forgive him’ and my heart is saying ‘Yes, forgive him, he loves you and cares about you’. “Ok, I forgive you. But only because I was the one acting like an idiot and going crazy and made you worry. You didn’t deserve that. I apologize for acting crazy.” I say “Leah. Oh my gosh..thank you. You mean everything to me. Without you, I’m nothing.” He says. “Without me, you’re still the pop-aussie singer; Cody Robert Simpson.” I say. “Yes, but you know what I mean.” He says. “Yeah, I know.” I say. “Oh, Cody. I just remembered something. We were suppose to meet your family, remember? The day that we went to the beach?” I told him.

“Oh, yeah. I forgot..my parents didn’t even notice. But, you are going to meet them sometime when the tour is over.” He says. I shake my head. No, I don’t want to..what if they don’t like me? “No...Cody.” I whined “Well, you have to meet them sooner or later. And besides, they are really nice. They’ll love you.” He says. “Well, I pick later.” I say. “Ok then. Well, I have to get ready for the concert. Talk to you later?” He asks.

“Yeah, talk to you later. Good luck” I say. “Thanks, angel.” he says. I hung up and I noticed Hannah wasn’t in here anymore. I frowned and went downstairs. “How was your chat with Alli?” Hannah asked “You mean Cody?” I ask. “You didn’t talk to Alli?” She asked. “Yes and no. She convinced me to talk with Cody, and I did.” I say “And?” She asks “We are still together, because we never even broke up. But we are fine now.” I say. Hannah sighs in relief. “That’s good.” She says. “So, what’s for dinner?” I asked “Umm, how about spaghetti?” She asked. Spaghetti sounds good. “Yeah, sure.” I say. I sit down and turn on Pretty Little Liars. “Please tell me you did not just turn on Pretty little Liars!!” Hannah screams from the kitchen. “Um, sorry?” I apologize even though I didn’t need to. Hannah hates Pretty Little Liars, Why? I don’t know. Your guess would be as good as mine. “Ugh..Leah you know how much I hate that show!” she says.

“Yeah, I know, but you’re not the one watching it, now are you?” I say, walking towards the kitchen. “No, but I can hear it.” she says. Why does she have to be difficult? “Put headphones on and listen to music.” I say. “I don’t like wearing headphones.” she whines. Seriously? She is acting like a five-year-old. “Stop acting like a five-year-old, Hannah. You’re 19..act like it please.” I say “But-” she starts to say. “Hannah, are you five?” I ask. “No.” she says. “Ok, now, you have a choice you can either listen to music with headphones or not.” I say. “Fine.” she says. I think for a minute and Hannah notices. “What are you thinking about?” she asks. “Nothing..I’ll be back before dinner is done.” I say and I float upstairs.

I took a shower and when I was done I changed into this. I grabbed my purse and my phone and headed downstairs. “Leah Ann Alexander, where are you going?” Hannah says, stopping me. “You are not my mother and besides I’m going shopping.” I say. “You want anything?” I ask. “No, thank you for asking..you may go.” She says. I walk outside and I hop in my car and drive to a random store that was near the mall. I parked my car when I got there. When I got inside, I look around and I bought Clothes, perfume, jewelry and make-up. Then I went to the grocery store.

“Hannah, I’m home!” I yell. She comes out of the kitchen “Hi, just in time for dinner!” She exclaims. Ok, then weird. Is it just me or is she acting weird? I shrug it off and follow her to the kitchen. When I got in the kitchen I see a blonde girl and bo-wait.. “Cody, Alli?” I say. They turn around “Leah!” Alli exclaims and stands up, I give her a hug. “Wow, you give my sister a hug and not your boyfriend.” Cody says. “Well, maybe I love your sister more than you.” I say. “You know you love me more.” he says. “Yeah, I do.” I say. I stand on my toes and kiss him on the cheek. “So, when did you come back from tour?” I ask.

“This morning.” Cody says. “Ok.” I say. We all started eating. When everyone was finish we all went to the living room. “We should have a girls night.” Alli suggests. “Yeah, that would be fun.” I say. Cody frowns. “What’s wrong Cody?” I ask. “I wanted to spend time with you.” He says “Ok, how about this. We can have a girls night this coming weekend.” I say. “Sounds good.” Alli says. “What time is it?” Cody asks “Um, 6:30. Why?” I say




“Because you, Leah, are going to meet my parents and Tom. Then we are going to watch a movie at my house.” He says. “Ok, sounds good.” I say. When I was finished getting my shoes on, Cody and I left to his parents house.

When we got there Cody opened my door for me. “Wow, a gentleman you are.” I say. “I have my reason why I made my “Gentleman” Song.” He says. I roll my eyes. Cody walks into his parents house and I follow. “Hello, anyone home?” He yells. Then I hear someone walk into the living room. “Cody!” Tom says “Hi, Tom. Where’s mum and dad?” Cody asks “In the kitchen.” Tom says “Ok. By the way, this is Leah. Leah, this is Tom.” Cody introduces me. “Hi, Leah.” Tom says “Hi, Tom.” I say. I giggle. “I like her, Cody.” Tom whispers. Cody smiles.

“Okay, lets go to the kitchen and meet my parents.” Cody says. I follow him towards the Kitchen. “Cody!” Mrs. Simpson says “Hi Mum, Dad.” Cody says. “This is Leah and Leah this is my mum and dad.” Cody introduces me to his parents. “Hi, Mr. and Mrs. Simpson.” I say.


“Please, call me Angie.” Angie says. “And call me Brad.” Brad says. “Ok.” I say. It fell silent for a few seconds, you could only hear the breaths of ourselves. “We have to go.” Cody ventured. “Ok, bye Cody, Leah.” Angie says. “So, that didn’t go badly. I told you they’re really nice, Leah.” Cody says. “Yeah, I know.” I say. “So, what do you want to do now?” Cody asks. “Um, marry Calum Hood.” I say. “But I thought you loved me?” Cody says “Cody me and Calum dated for three years.” I say joking around. “Are you joking with me?” He asks. I bursted out laughing. “Yes, Cody. Calum doesn’t even know who I am.” I say. He sighs in relief. “I thought you were serious for a second.” he says. “Why would I date Calum? I mean he his cute and hot and all, but I-I…” I trailed off.

“I love you, Cody.” I finished my sentence. Cody just smiles. “I love you too, Leah.” he says. He said it back. Wow, I can’t believe I said it and he said it back. He leans in and kisses me. “We should get going. Lets go to my house and we will have a movie marathon.” He says. “Ok, sounds good.” I say.
