Once In a Lifetime

I’m standing on the balcony when Harry comes out holding a small box. He walks up to me, stands so close and looks down at me. He grabs my hand and puts the box in it.
“I got you a little something to remind you of our time in New York.”
I open the box to find the cutest gold necklace with a small apple hanging from it. I smile and look up at Harry. “It’s absolutely perfect. Will you help me put it on please?”
Harry takes the necklace out of the box, I turn around and lift up my hair so he can fasten it behind me. He does the clasp and I feel the chain fall against the back of my neck. Harry’s hands are on my shoulders and next thing I know I feel his lips on the back of my neck. I can’t help it, I let out a moan. Harry turns me around. I look up at him.”Thank you, Harry. I love it.”
“You’re welcome. It looks beautiful on you. I knew it would.” Harry says quietly. He’s staring at my lips. Then he looks at my eyes, as if he’s looking for the ok to kiss me. I step even closer to him and he obviously sees the approval in my eyes. He leans down and kisses me. We share several soft gentle kisses. His one hand is in my hair and the other is on my lower back. He pulls back looks me in the eyes so sweetly and says “I can’t believe I waited so long to do that.”
“I can’t believe you waited so long either.” I reply.
He looks a little surprised. “I didn’t know if you felt the same way.” He says.
“ I thought I was pretty obvious.” I laugh.
He laughs and adds “I thought I was too but apparently neither of us was.”
I look down at my feet and say “I just didn’t think someone as incredible as you could be interested in someone like me.” Harry puts his fingers under my chin and lifts my face up till our eyes meet. “You really have no idea how beautiful you are do you?” He says slowly. He takes a breath and then adds. “I knew from the first day I saw you that I not only wanted you in my bed, but also in my life.”
A tear falls from my eye. Harry catches it and wipes it away. “Please tell me those are happy tears.” Harry says sounding concerned. I reply, “Yes Harry you’ve made me so very happy.”
“Good.” he says “Because you make me very happy as well. And we have some lost time to make up for.”
He leans in for a kiss. I wrap my arms around his neck and I’m on my tippy toes kissing him back. They start off sweetly but quickly become more heated. He pulls me in very close to him. Just as I feel his tongue, the doorbell rings. We both groan and put our foreheads together disappointed. “Oh crap.” Harry says. “I forgot Liam said he and Sophia would stop by when they got in today.
I sigh, then with a smile say “We better go get the door then.”
We walk towards the door but Harry is walking backwards in front of me. I laugh. “What are you doing?”
“I can’t take my eyes off of you.” Harry says with a big smile.
Oh those dimples get me everytime. Harry opens the door and we greet Liam and Sophia with big hugs.
