Once In a Lifetime

While I’m waiting for Harry, I’m admiring another one of the paintings when I hear a voice behind me. I turn around to see an extremely hot guy. He’s tall, dark hair, blue eyes and full of muscles in all the right places.
He repeats himself since I missed it the first time. “The painting is beautiful isn’t it?” He says. “My name is Ryan, by the way.” and he puts out his hand to gently shake mine. “Hi Ryan. I’m Dee. Nice to meet you.”
We make small talk. I find out he’s an actor from LA. I tell him I’m visiting New York with a friend. As I say this I point in Harry’s direction. We both turn to see Harry looking at us. Wow what is that look on his face? I’ve never seen it before. He looks irritated, angry, maybe jealous?
“He’s just your friend?” Ryan says. I shake my head yes. “Let me tell you something Dee,” Ryan says. “As a guy I can tell you that he most definitely thinks of you as more than just a friend.”
“What do you mean?” I ask, very curious.
“See the way he’s looking at me like he wants to kick my ass? He’s really into you and he’s jealous as hell right now that you are talking to me.” Ryan plainly states.
Harry makes his way over to us with the same look on his face. As soon as he arrives I introduce them. Ryan puts his hand out to shake Harry’s. I can tell Harry doesn’t want to, but his manners win out and he shakes Ryan’s hand.
Ryan tells me that it was nice to meet me and that he needs to go. As he leaves he pats Harry on the back. “Beautiful girl you have here.” Ryan tells him before walking away. He catches my eye and gives me a quick wink.
Harry looks into my eyes, a relieved smile on his face. Should I trust what Ryan said? Could he be correct about Harry’s feelings for me?
