This Love

~Luke's pov~


I stepped through my door, making sure to lock everything behind me. I'm not taking risks now that we know what's going on on.


"Daddy!" Olivia squealed running towards me. She jumped, letting me catch her and spin her around. "I missed you last night." She pouted her lip.


"I missed you too cutie." I poked her cheek making her giggle.


"What about me?" A voice said from the other side of the room. The voice of my lovely wife to be precise.


"Oh of course." I smiled.


I let Olivia down and walked over to Liana, wrapping my arms around her and pecking her lips. I noticed bags under her eyes and how tired she looked.


"What's wrong?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows.


"What do you mean?" She followed my actions.


"You look so tried." I frowned.


"I couldn't sleep last night without you with me, I was scared." She said, her eyes tearing up.


"Stop, no stop." I hugged her tightly. "I'm not gonna let anything happen to you." I assured.


Last night, me and the boys all went out to find anything that would help keep us safe, we alerted all our families, and Calum bought fake mustaches, don't ask why.


I let go of Liana and headed upstairs to the bedroom. Opening the closet, I reached for the top shelf that held a bag with very special contents.


"What's that?" Liana asked, pointing to the bag.


"I started to keep this handy after I witnessed that gang fight." I said, opening the bag for the first time in four years.


"Weapons?" Her eyes widened and she stood up.


"They were never useful until now, well actually..." My voice trailed off as I picked up a small pocket knife. "I was actually gonna give this to you when Ashton was after you." I said, frowning at the horrible memory.


"You expected me to stab him?" She asked, sounding surprised.


"Just in the leg maybe, just to slow him down." I said emotionless.


"I wouldn't do that to someone." She sighed, rubbing a hand over my back.


"I know." I shrugged.


I closed the bag up and put it back in the closet.


"What are we gonna do with Olivia?" Liana asked.


"She can't stay with us, that's for sure." I breathed.


"What about with my mum?" She suggested.


"These gangs have connections, Liv can't stay anywhere in Sydney." I shook my head.


"What about with Angelica?" Liana asked.


"But Angelica is all the way in Florida." I frowned, and shivered at the thought about being across the world from my little girl.


"She'll be a lot safer." Liana said looking down.


"But if she's goes you go."


"What?"


"Liana you're pregnant, I'm not risking loosing these two." I said putting a hand on her stomach. "And even though I don't even know what I'd do without you, I'd rather be away from you and know you're safe, then being with you and know you're in danger."


"But Luke-"


"No Li. I want you safe." I wrapped my arms around her.


"I want you safe too." She choked, and I realized she was now crying.


"No stop crying." I felt like crying myself.


"Mummy, daddy?" A small voice said from the other side of the room.


"Liv come here." I said, not unwrapping my arms around Li.


I then added her in the hug and let a tear slip.


"Why are you guys crying?" She asked loudly. "Did the bad guys come?" Now she sounded scared.


"No." I whispered.


"Then why are you guys crying?" Can she stop talking because it's breaking my heart.


"You and mummy are gonna be staying with aunt Angelica for a while." I said.


"Luke no."


"Yes, it's the only way to keep you four safe."
