This Love

(A/N after 18 fucking days look who decided to update...)


The room went silent as the knocking continued. Mostly everyone went pale as it just got louder and louder.


"Um, is someone gonna..." My voice trailed off.


"Let's just all go down." Ashton suggested.


Nods flowed throughout the room as we all exited to go downstairs.


Olivia clung onto me and Luke tightly, probably very afraid of the harsh knocks that have not stopped. I fiddled with my necklace and kept looking glancing down at Olivia.


"It's more than one person." Calum whispered looking through the small eyehole on the door.


"Who?" Luke asked.


"I don't know, but they look like teenagers, there only like four of them." Calum responded.


He slowly opened the door revealing four teens looking about 18 standing there with anxious faces.


"Wow, looks like someone decided to open the door!" One of the boys exclaimed with mock excitement.


"Who are you guys?" Leigh asked.


"Well I'm Violet, this is Brielle, over there is Ryan, and then that's Anthony." The girl, named violet spoke.


"We don't care about your names, she asked who you guys were." Michael said rudely.


The kids shared glances, smirking.


"Well that's not important we ju-"


"Who are you guys?" Luke shouted, quite loudly.


The kids fixed there eyes on Luke, raising there eyebrows.


"Luke." Brielle, I think chuckled to herself.


"How do you know my name?" He asked, his voice cracking.


Now the kids went quiet. The only sounds in the room were the silent sobs of Olivia who was clinging onto my leg.


"Doesn't matter." Ryan smirked.


"Yes it does!" Luke shouted back.


"Guys maybe we shouldn't-"


"Violet shut it." Ryan snapped at her.


"But there's children in here." She said, pointing around.


"So you've gone soft." Ryan rolled his eyes.


"Don't make me remind you-"


"Don't you fucking dare." He warned.


The rest of us in the room just watched their conversation. I could barely hear what they were saying though because my rapidly beating heart was probably the only thing I could hear.


"Fine were leaving." Ryan said clenching his jaw. "For now at least." He muttered before dragging his friends out the door.


The silent room was filled with the sobs of the children and the whimpers of me and the girls.


Luke kept his eyes fixed on the window where the kids walked in the direction of the woods while his pulled me into a hug me kissed my forehead.


"Are bad guys coming." Olivia softly said.


"No sweetie." I choked, knowing that was probably a lie.


"I think those are the kids we saw near the hospital last week." Emily spoke up, looking at Luke.


Luke's breathing hitched.


I looked at the kids who still were in view point and saw something silver and shiny hanging out from the pocket of one of them.


"One of them has a knife in his pocket." I slightly yelled and clung onto Luke for dear life.


"Oh my god." Luke said, barely above a whisper.


"What is going on?" Michael asked, as if expecting an answer.


Luke ran to his phone that was sitting on the countertop of the kitchen and began typing away. He sighed inwardly and looked up.


"Guys, think about it. Skylar's sudden appearance and greeting all of us, moving incredibly close to one of us, Michael getting stabbed, the sudden gunshots reported, but only happening near us." He stopped talking for a second. "Then there's those kids acting so suspicious, and the knife! It's kind of obvious, there's a gang roaming Sydney and they want something to do with us."

Oh shit, things just got real...

And omg my updating schedule is horrible and I'm so mad at myself and I'm sorry.

At least I'll be on a plane for five hours tomorrow so e might get a long update out of that:))))

Btw the reasoning behind this chapter name is because my sister is singing this song called when the ship goes down and as I wrote this I was muttering to myself "more like when the shit goes down"
