Do I Frighten You? 2

“You can't go inside.” I heard a familiar voice say, and then I turned around. Sophia was looking at me. Her eyes were half closed and she ran her fingers through her long brown hair.

“I- I was going to just go and get a snack.” I said and rubbed the back of my neck.

She stood up. “I will come with.” She said and then seconds later she was next to me, and I had began to walk again.

“I wonder what she is thinking.” I confessed and then sighed.

“Yeah.” She said in a small voice. “Why did she move down here anyway, I know she was lying when she told me she found this amazing coffee shop.”

“I don't think we should discuss it. I don't want to worry you.” I spoke, looking around for a bending machine.

“Why not, I can take anything.” She spoke and I heard a small laugh from her.

“You promise you won't flip then?” I said, with a long sigh.

“Promise.” She said.

I looked down at her, and then looked forward still walking down the long hall. This hospital was so unfamiliar to me, I don't know where I was going. “Well, it was Liam, He told her to leave Middlewich.”

“What?” Sophia said stopping at her tracks.

“Don't flip out.” I told her. “He took Andrew from us, and said that he would hurt him, if she didn't leave.” I said and ran my fingers through my hair.

She scoffed. “Wow, Liam really had me fooled.”

“Not me.” I said and then found a room filled with machines and then I turned on the light and walked in.

“Why would he do that?” She spoke and then brought out her phone.

“I don't know.” I said honestly.

I looked around to see if anything was here that I liked. “Where is everyone?” I asked, changing the subject.

“They went to go and get some sleep, Kate went to a hotel, and she took the kids with her.” Sophia said, stopping at a bending machine and grabbed some cash from her pocket.

“Andrew doesn't have any changing clothes with him though.” I frowned a little.

“He can wear some of James' things.” Sophia pointed out.

“James' smaller than Andrew, there is no way he could fit his things.” I said.

It was silent for a moment and then I found a bending machine were there was just a lot of snacks. I decided to get some jelly tots, I haven't had those in a while. I wonder if Andrew ever had some.

“Guy, Oh good thing I found you!” Niall said walking through the door. “How could you guys get snacks without waking me up? It is scary there. Dark halls and all.”

“Sorry, You were sleeping.” I told him, and then put in my money and pressed the numbers. I saw as the snack had began to fall, and I received it moments after.

“Well, you could have woken me up.” Niall spoke in a mumble.

I shrugged and then tore open the bag.

“So what happened when I was sleeping?” I asked.

“Nothing, everyone decided to go and get hotel rooms, Kate had took the kids while Sophia and I decided to stay here with you.” Niall said in a soft tone.

I nodded. Just as long as Andrew is okay. I was hoping she is okay, What if she is in a lot of pain, What if she is calling out for me? What if she needs me. I couldn't get it out of my head.

“She needs me.” I said.

“Who?” Sophia said.

“Amelia.” I said walking towards the door and opening my bag, eating one.

When I finally get to her room door. I turn the knob slowly, opening it, with a dim light. I looked at her body. She looked like she was sleeping but there was less tubes on her. She looked peaceful now. I sat down in a chair that was in her room. I wish should would just wake up and talk to me, but I know that she wouldn't. I was so upset with this, I wonder if the guy with the semi is hurt too. I hope so. No I don't I sound like Liam.

What if it was Liam? What if he is here? What if he is the reason behind all of this. I just need to stop thinking crazy and relax. All that matters right now is that Amelia is fine and she is not in going to die. She will be able to come home soon and I will get to take care of her.
