Do I Frighten You? 2

Just sitting her have a reaction to me, made me feel a little better, I can not wait until she opens her eyes. I had noticed that my checks were wet with tears. She was alone in here for a while, alone. No one to keep her company and now here I am, with her and I promise myself that I will never go again. Well, only if I was told to go by a doctor, but she needed someone. I know she does, She always does.

Just a little less than 24 hours, the doctor was telling us that she might not make it. She must have been in a lot of pain. The car was horrible, just looking at it made my heart drop and break into a thousand pieces, hopefully she was okay now. But I do have to worry a little bit. She was still in a lot of pain. Her tiny fingers were moving now, and I looked down at them. I sighed in relief and then looked up at her, her eyes were closed and then I found myself kissing her hand, and then the door opened slowly, I saw that it was Sophia and Niall peeking in through the door.

“Guys, look.” I whispered for them. They looked at me and was confused. “She is responding.”

They looked down at her and my hand, and then their eyes were wide and they moved over to us and then looked closer. Sophia was shocked, and was very relieved.

“Wow.” She said bringing her hand over her mouth, and tried to control her uncontrollable sobs.

The morning had came up soon, and the hall lights had began to come on, and I had began to hear a small chatter of voices coming up from the hall. I had looked up and noticed that Niall and Sophia was sitting in chairs next to the door, and I was still in my same spot near Amelia. Her hand was still in mine. But a little loosened. I rubbed my eyes with my hand and then looked around the room and then stretched a little. I looked at her again, I just want her to go home with me, but I know that that is not going to happen today.

I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and noticed it was about to die. I sighed and then put it back into my pocket, I needed to call my job.

“Niall.” I whispered and then he didn't respond.

I slowly pulled my hand away and then sighed, and stood up and stretched. I grabbed my phone and then dialed my job.

“Hello?” I heard veronica speak.

“Veronica, If anyone is looking for me please inform them that I will not be there, it is a family issue and I am out of town. “ I spoke in the most casual voice as possible.

“Mr. Styles, I will write that now, I hope that everything will get better.” She said softly.

“Thanks.” I said. “Have a nice day.” I said before hanging up the phone. My phone battery was on 5% Wow.

I walked back into her room, I don't even know if we were suppose to be in here. Maybe I should go and get Andrew should he go to school? Hell no! He is not going back.

The day had passed and the doctors had moved Amelia to a different room. Since she was responding. I sighed when they said that she was going to be okay. Amelia's mom had come back, with Ethan. He looked like a mess. Something was picking with him.

A few days later.

She wasn't up still and I honestly had began to worry, most of everyone had to leave, they had to go back to work and the only person to stay was Sophia Ethan, He said that he can worry about school another time and that he can have a friend drop off his work at their dorm.

“So, good thing that her heart beat is better right?” Ethan said next to me.

“Yeah, It is great, I just wonder what she is thinking about you know?” I asked him. He nodded his head.

“Yeah.” He answered.

We were going to go to Sophia's hotel, She had Andrew with her because I didn't know if it was okay for him to be at the hospital for a long time. He needed to eat. I had brought him into the room so he could see Amelia. He did not think anything, I just kept telling him that she was sleeping.

“Daddy.” Andrew said and wobbled to me, and then I picked him up and then smiled.

“Hey.” I tell him. He was such a hugged. “Hey, Sophia.”

“Hey, Andrew is very good company.” She laughed.

“If you don't want to rent out rooms anymore, you can just go and stay at our house I will not mind.” I said, I kept offering everyone to stay at our house, but they always refused.

“No, I am okay, I am going to have to be going home today.” She said with a warm smile.

“Oh, Okay.” I said, that was all I could say.

“I will be back though, just text me to keep me up to date with how she is doing.” She said with small laugh.

“I will.” I said, sending her a smile back.

“Ethan, so do you guys want to go out and do something? I mean It would be nice if We got Amelia something before she comes home.” Ethan said softly.

“That would be nice, We should.” Sophia smiled.
