Rachel's P.O.V.

When I woke up, Ashton was already out of bed, in the shower I assumed from the noise. I groaned at the sun streaming into the room and rubbed my temple slowly. I hadn't even drank a whole lot but my head was sore nonetheless.

I remaineded in bed, clutching my pillow until Ashton came back into the room. "You awake long?" He asked casually, sporting only a towel hung loosely around his waist. "Mmh, only a little while" I replied casually, my eyes trailing along his chest as he sat down next to me gingerly.

"I'm sorry I had to cancel last night" he told me, his hand cupping my cheek. "But if you're up for it, why don't we go to the zoo? Theres an amazing one only a short bus ride away. We can go just the two of us, spend the day together" he suggested, his thumb caressing my face softly.

I smiled in response. "Sounds perfect Ash, just give me a while to get washed and dressed" I mumbled in response. He grinned, leaning down to press a soft kiss to my temple.

It wasn't long before I was washed and wearing a floral pattern knee- length dress along with sunglasses and flip flops. My hair was tied in a bun to prevent myself getting over heated. Ashton was right about the zoo, it wasn't very far from where we were staying and it was fantastic. I loved zoos in general but this one had all my favourite animals, including pandas.

There was also an underground area where you could see the seals swimming close to the glass. I couldn't help but giggle in delight and as I did Ashton chuckled,wrapping his arms around me from behind. "Arent they beautiful?" I murmured softly. "You're beautiful" he responded, pressing a kiss to my shoulder. Again I giggled. "Shut up" I laughed.

"No really Rachel, I honestly have no idea what I'd do if I ever lost you" he continued. The seriousness of his voice made me turn to face him. "Ashton, you're not going to lose me" I assured him. He continued to look uncertain.

"Why would you even think something like that?" I asked softly. He sighed, biting his lip. "You and Louis have gotten really close again and I just-" I cut him off by pressing my lips firmly to him. "You're an idiot" I mumbled as I pulled away. "Louis and I are friends and -" I began. "This time last year you and I were friends and you and Louis.." he trailed off, suddenly avoiding my eye.

"Ash" I pressed a kiss to the tip of his nose. "Yes, I was with Louis but I'm with you now Ashton. Only you. Besides, Louis ruined us before we even had a chance to start. I'm not sure if I could ever fully trust Louis again after what he did.. Louis and I are history. He made sure of that when he slept with El" I assured him, kissing him briefly before turning back to see the seals, certain my words had reassured him.
