Rachel's P.O.V.

I pulled back from Ashton's embrace still grinning. I was unbelievably grateful for the tickets. I was literally in love with Ed Sheeran and the idea of seeing him live. In Wembley. I actually felt like crying.

"Your welcome Rach, I had a feeling you'd like them" he grinned, his arms still loosely around me.

"Like them? I freaking love them Ash! We're gonna have an amazing time!" I continued happily.

He raised an eyebrow.

"We?" "Well you're obviously coming with me,right? I mean you gave me two tickets" I reminded him.

His cheeks tinged a pink colour ever so slightly but he nodded enthusiastically nonetheless.

I grinned widely.

"Awesome I-" I began but cut off when i heard a loud call of 'HAZ!' before Louis came walking into the room.

He froze in his spot at the sight. Ashtons arms were still around me, Luke and Skylar were giggling while swaying slightly and Harry just stood watching with a sour expression on his face.

Louis' eyes met mine for a brief moment before he sighed, looking back to Harry.

"Hey Haz maybe we should head out for a while. I was thinking of visiting El before we go back to uni. You should come with. Demi and Delia will be there, meaning Niall will most likely show up" he explained as the room went silent.

Ashtons arms dropped from me slowly. He always seemed incredibly nervous when Louis was around. I mean yeah, Louis could be a bit intimidating at times but he was a really good guy. And I was almost positive they'd get on if it wasn't for me causing trouble.

Harry nodded slowly, tearing his gaze away from Skylar.

"Yeah, sounds great. I'm driving" he stated dryly before grabbing his keys off of the counter and walking out the front door.

He gave me a small but noticeable glare as he passed me and I instantly felt guilty. I knew how he felt about Skylar and yet I went and invited her boyfriend to our house anyways. That was kind of a dick move.

It wasn't my fault though, really. Luke had been the one wanting to see Skylar again. She was after all his girlfriend, he had every right to see her before she took off to America.

Louis sighed again, nodding at me as we walked by muttering 'he never fecking let's me drive' under his breath.

I rolled my eyes at their childishness but grinned anyways.

"Okay guys Ashton and I are gonna go hang out in my room so as to give you two love birds a bit of privacy" I winked at Luke and Sky before quickly grabbing Ashton's hand and sprinting away from them so they couldn't protest.

Ashton had longer legs than me and so could obviously run faster. As he already knew where my room was he got there first, collapsing on my bed.

I rolled my eyes, plopping down next to him.

"So how long are you guys staying for?" I asked, poking his stomach lightly.

He shrugged.

"An hour or two maybe. Luke just wanted to spend a bit of time with Skylar before she left again" he explained.

I nodded.

"An hour or two, hm? Well that's certainly not long enough to watch Lord of the Ring again" I stated, feigning disappointment.

"Well I'm sure there's plenty of other nerdy things you love lying around here. Doctor Who? Star Trek perhaps?" He teased and I just rolled my eyes.

We ended up spending a good half hour just chatting before we watched a random chic flick. Ashton spent the whole movie pointong out everything wrong with it, making a joke of the whole thing.

The movie was coming to an end when suddenly he ran his hand along my neck, making me shiver.

I raised an eyebrow at him and he just smiled shyly.

"Your hickeys pretty much faded" he mumbled.

I nodded. I had been covering it by wearing scarves or putting make up on it but there was no need to now. It was barely there.

He sighed suddenly.

"Rach, I gotta tell you something" he said softly.

I nodded.

"Okay" I encouraged.

He bit his lip.

"Just dont freak out, okay?" He whispered, looking nervous.

"I won't" I promised.

He took another deep breath before glancing away.

"I.. I em.." He trailed off and I nodded,willing him to go on.

"I - well it was me that you know.. Gave you that hickey" he mumbled sheepishly.

I felt myself freeze.

He met my eye cautiously, trying to figure out my reaction.

"H-How..?" I stuttered after a moment of silence.

"We ,er we were both pretty drunk at the party and we kinda made out for a while" he explained.

My eyes widened. Why hadn't he mentioned this before?!

"It didn't mean anything though" he added quickly.

"What?!" I half yelled, caught between surprise and annoyance.

We had made out and it meant nothing to him. Nothing? At all?

"It was no big deal Rach, just a drunken mistake" he shrugged and I felt my stomach drop. I guess whatever hopes I had of Ashton liking me were crushed.

He seemed to notice how annoyed I was as he stood up from the bed.

"Maybe I should go" he suggested softly, looking nervous and disappointed.

"Yeah maybe you should" I muttered back.

He looked a little hurt but nodded and left anyways.

I groaned in frustration. I couldn't get mad at him for not liking me back. It wasn't his fault. I sighed dramatically, wondering why I couldn't just act like a normal person and take rejection properly.

It must be a Styles thing.
