Year Two

Skylar's P.O.V

A few days later, Luke and I are packing up our bags to go back to Cambridge. I had fun with Luke and his family, I'll definitely miss them. Once we were done packing, we slowly made our way down the stairs and smiling as we see Luke's parents and brothers standing by the door. They all looked sad, but happy too.

"We hope you come again, Skylar!" Luke's father said, pulling me in for a strong hug. I pat his back softly, nodding. We all say our good byes and head off to the cab that was waiting for us outside. We got to the airport quick, we were lucky there was no traffic on a Saturday morning. Since it was around 10 am, we should arrive back at the college around the same time, since the plane ride is 24 hours long. Once we went through security, we were on the plane and ready to go.

I jerk away as I feel a pair of hands shaking me shoulders, I sleepily rub my eyes and glance at Luke who's leaning over me.

"The plane landed, lets go." He says, holding out his hand and taking mine, grabbing out bags and waiting in the slow line to exit the place. Once we were outside, I took in a deep breath and quickly pulled on Luke's hand to go to the luggage pick up. I wouldn't say I'm excited about college starting again, but I'm happy I'll see Rachel and Lizzie again. Not to mention Harry. When we got to the baggage claim, we quickly grabbed out bags and called for a cab. We got to the school in about 2 hours, which was bad for us since we were tired and cranky.

As we pulled up to the college, I hastily threw the door open and popped the trunk. After Luke had paid the man, we smiled at each other and raced each other to my dorm while laughing and nearly falling the whole time there. And of course I had won, but Luke just had to say he won and I cheated. Before we could continue our argument, my phone began ringing, making me hold up a finger and glance down at the unknown number.

"Hello?" I ask, looking at Luke.

"Ah, is this miss Skylar Storm?" A throaty male voice says, papers shuffling filled the background.

"Yes? May I ask who this is?" I answer, opening the dorm and leaning my suitcase up against the wall.

"I'm going to my apartment, I'll be back in an hour." Luke whispers, kissing my check before exiting the dorm and closing the door.

"This is Albert Weselton, founder of the Young Artists program," he begins, making me catch my breath before he continues. "I had an offer to fly you into New York, the ticket paid for, your living quarters would be taken care of, and you would be one of the students in the program. If all things go smoothly, I'll even offer you a job as one of the teachers helpers."
My mouth hung open, with my eyes wide.

"I-I, um, yes! I'll definitely take the offer!" I stutter excitedly.

"The thing is, you have to leave immediately and you will be gone for 6 months."

Hey guys! I'm so sorry for the late updates, I'm going through a hard time right now and need to take some time off from writing. Don't worry, the others will still update! I hope you like my last chapter for a little while, I wrote it in 10 minuets, so it really sucks. D:
