Year Two

Texting

Delia's P.O.V.

It wasn't long after Rachel and Lizzie left that me and Demi decided to go too. Our room was a long walk from Eleanor's so there was no point in staying too long.

I was pretty pleased at how the evening had gone. I had gotten along with the girls reasonably well so that wasn't too bad.

Me and Demi were just chatting as we walked back when suddenly I noticed a group of boys standing near a fountain. I instantly spotted Louis out of the group and made my way over towards them.

"Louis!" I yelled out as I got closer, with Demi close behind me.

He spun around quickly and grinned widely when he saw me.

"Deils!" he flung an arm over my shoulder once I was next to him.

I glanced around at the group of boys he was with and instantly spotted the Irish guy I had been talking to earlier.

"Well hello again" I sent him a wink, smirking ever so slightly.

Louis raised an eyebrow but didn't comment as Niall just grinned back.

"Well Delia, this is Liam, Zayn, Harry-" he indicate to three of them. "And I assume you know Niall" he finished.

I grinned.

"Ahh so you're the infamous Harry Styles" I let my gaze fall on the curly haired one.

He grinned slightly, but looked pretty confused.

"What?"

"Well I've heard a lot about you from Rachel and Skylar" I explained quickly so he wouldn't think I was some sort of creep.

His grin widened.

"Skylar's been talking about me?" he asked at the same time as Louis said "You know Rachel?!"

"A little. To both" I answered.

Harry seemed rather pleased while Louis seemed to tense up slightly.

"So Demi, how's El?" he asked over my head and they broke off into conversation.

I wriggled out of his arm and stood over next to Niall.

"Wow, twice in one day Ireland. Are you stalking me?" I joked.

He smirked.

"Don't flatter yourself purple" he replied cheekily.

His smile faded ever so slightly and his voice got somewhat more serious.

"So, you and Louis, huh?" he asked.

I decided to just play dumb.

"Whatever do you mean?" I feigned innocence.

"You know - You and him. Are you like friends or..?" he trailed off.

Again I acted oblivious.

"Or what?" I asked.

He sighed.

"You kinda suck you know. Are you and Louis together or not?" he demanded.

I grinned, pleased that I had frustrated him at the very least.

"Oh, you should've just came out and said it" I replied quickly.

"Delia!"

I giggled.

"No, we're not together. We went to school together but we've never gone out or anything. He's always been like a brother to me" I admitted.

He nodded.

"Oh cool, cool" he said, nonchalantly while I just rolled my eyes.

"So if-" he began but cut off quickly when Demi called me.

"It's late, we should really get going" she reminded me.

I nodded.

"Your right. Well, bye Niall, I'm sure I'll see you around" I gave him another flirty wink before flashing Louis a quick smile before following off behind Demi.

We walked in silence for a minute before she broke it.

"So.. You and Louis" she started.

I raised an eyebrow.

"What about us?" I asked back.

She sighed.

"You two seemed close.. D'ya think you guys would ever-" she began but I cut her off quickly.

"No way. Me and Louis have been friends since we were tiny. It'd be too weird. He's always just been family to me" I assured her.

She seemed rather content with the answer, obviously worrying that if I were to get with Louis, it would cause trouble with Eleanor.

It was then I remembered something I had been meaning to ask her.

"Louis and Rachel. Did they go out?" I asked, remembering how tense Louis had gotten when I mentioned her.

Demi raised an eyebrow.

"No, why would you ask?" she replied.

I shrugged.

"Well he just seemed a little awkward when I mentioned her. He was pretty eager to know if I knew her, I mean she's Harry's sister not his. Then again though, I'm probably reading too much into the situation. Don't worry about it" I shrugged, brushing it off.

I was probably wrong, though I would certainly ask Louis about it.

"Oh right, okay" she replied, her voice thoughtful.

I was suddenly worried that I was causing some sort of trouble but hey, I was just saying what I thought. Louis had tensed up. Maybe there was something between them.

Me and Demi walked back to the room in silence.

I felt my phone buzz as we got into our room. I unlocked it quickly seeing a text from an unknown number.

'There's a party this Friday. You game purple?'

I grinned, not even having to ask who it was. I typed a quick reply.

'I'm in if you are'

It literally only took a second for him to reply.

'I'll see you there so ;)'

I spent half the night texting him, flirting to the max. Eventually I fell asleep, with my phone in my hand, my eyes just refusing to stay open any longer.

@Mashton_Styles
For the last chapter of this story before starting the sequel I was wondering if we can possibly have Louis declare his feelings for Rachel and maybe give her a kiss. Please if possible :) Thank you.
