Rachel's P.O.V.

When the phone went dead, I pulled it from my ear confused.

"Is she okay?" Lizzie asked, raising an eyebrow.

I shrugged.

"I don't know.. I kinda think that Ashton may have been with her. So maybe she's at Luke's place?" I replied confusedly.

Eleanor nodded.

"So her and Luke are like a proper thing right? Cause I'm not too sure but I heard that a certain Styles had a thing for her" she told me, taking a bite out of the small slice of pizza she had in her hand.

I raised my eyebrows.

"Yeah, I knew he liked her last year but I didn't know he still had a thing for her" I replied, trying to sound like I wasn't too interested.

I mean Harry was my brother and Skylar was my best friend. Honestly, I wouldn't have a problem with them as a couple. Sure, it would be weird but I wanted them both to be happy. However, I would want them to tell me straight up. So that I would be prepared for it. And Skylar was with Luke at the moment anyways, so she couldn't be interested in Harry, right?

"Well that's just what I hear" Eleanor replied with a shrug.

Demi nudged her playfully.

"Your such a gossip El" she giggled.

I laughed along with her.

"You know, I think I'll head back to my room now. I have early classes tomorrow and I'm getting a bit tired" I announced, standing up.

Demi pouted slightly.

"Okaaay" she said in a somewhat whine.

I rolled my eyes grinning.

"You coming Lizzie?" I asked her.

She nodded.

And so after giving Eleanor and Demi a hug and giving Delia a wave, we took off. The walk to our dorm was long enough so I struck up conversation.

"So.. Has Skylar ever mentioned Harry to you?" I asked, keeping my voice casual.

She raised her eyebrows.

"Emm., no I don't think so. I mean I've only been here two days remember?" she replied.

I nodded.

"Oh yeah, yeah. Of course" I replied, awkwardly trying to move on quickly.

"So, seen any guys you like? I noticed you and Michael happened to wander off conveniently last night" I winked, causing her cheeks to redden ever so slightly.

"Michael's pretty cool" she agreed.

I nodded.

"Yeah, Michaels great. He's super funny and really easy to talk to" I continued on.

We chatted about Michael and the other boys around campus for the rest of the walk back to the dorm. When we got to our room we noticed Skylar wasn't there. I was starting to think I was right abut her being at the boys.

I got changed into a pair of pyjama shorts and a t-shirt and brushed my teeth. As I was getting into bed my phone beeped.

It was from Ashton. I checked the message quickly:

'Hey Rach, You wanna have lunch together tomorrow? Me, you and Skylar. I'm kinda craving pancakes ;)'

I grinned at the message and sent a quick reply saying that it sounded like a good idea. Pancakes really were my weakness.

I fell asleep easily that night.
