Treacherous

Chapter 5

Olivia's P.O.V.

I hurried back to my room and showered. I didn't know how I felt about seeing Elliot again. My first instinct would be to flinch away from him and I knew he wouldn't like that. I was going to have to put the events of last night to the back burner, forget the fear I felt as one of the guys I trusted most in the world hit me.

I know most girls in my situation would have dumped the guy flat on his ass. But I saw the regret in his eyes when it registered what he had done. He apologized and drove me home when I asked, without question. Probably one of the only time's he's listened to me.

I never thought I would say this but when I walked through the front door and saw Niall's face I had never felt more relieved. Weird I know. What shocked me even more was that I told him the truth. Some part of me knows that I could always trust him. Despite what an asshole he is, Niall would keep this a secret for me.

It was comforting to know that somebody else knew what happened. I couldn't tell Ronnie, she would go psycho, and I don't even want to think about what Liam would do. Niall is the only one who would accept what I want, even if he was pissed he would listen to me before acting.

I put on one of my sweaters reserved for the days when Elliot was around, specifically his favorite beige one. Despite the heat I didn't want to wear anything revealing. He was pissed about the dress I wore last night, he made sure I knew that. If my mother only knew; she was trying to get me to impress him but he didn't take it the right way. Mom is waiting for the day that Elliot proposes to me, it will literally be the happiest day of her life. She is always going on about 'what is taking him so long,' the fact that I'm still in high school clearly not mattering to her.

I looked in the mirror, there was a small purplish mark on my cheek, not noticeable unless you looked carefully. I opted to not cover it with make up. He should see what he did to me. Tossing on leggings I cautiously made my way down stairs.

I found him in the den, legs crossed watching the news. Niall sat in the arm chair, glaring daggers at Elliot's side, nothing out of the ordinary. Though I knew this morning there was more behind his glare than yesterdays. Both their heads snapped to me when I entered the room.

"Livy." Elliot smiled, I could already tell he was being friendlier than usual. Niall could see it as well because he snorted and rolled his eyes. I shot him a look before smiling and sitting next to Elliot. He wrapped his arm around me and pulled me into his lap, smiling warmly. Yep way more attentive than normal. It reminded me of the beginning of our relationship when he always had to be touching me. He eventually got used to me I guess.

"Good morning." I smiled, feeling slightly giddy at his show of affection.

"How are you?" He cooed, concern flashing in his eyes as I saw them flicker to my cheek.

"I'm okay." I shrugged. "Where's Liam?" I asked looking to Niall now. His glare left Elliot and his face softened when it met mine.

"Making breakfast." He told me while standing up. "I'm going to see if he needs any help." He gave Elliot a warning glance before walking out.

"What's his problem?" He narrowed eyes.

"He's just protective. Him and Liam will never approve of the guys I like." I quickly thought of a good excuse for Niall's more than usual aggression towards Elliot.

"Guy you like." He deadpanned, pulling me closer. "Horan want's you." He growled looking to where Niall disappeared to. My heart pounded nervously in my chest.

"N-no, he doesn't. Ew that's gross." I laughed to cover my awkwardness. "He's my second brother."

"He doesn't see it that way."

"Well I do." I put my hand on his cheek making him look at me. "Theres nothing to worry about." I didn't even feel guilty for lying. Though there's not like there was anything to worry about..right?

He glared slightly before sighing. "Your mine." He warned before kissing me roughly.

"Food's ready!" Liam called and I felt a surge of relief. I hopped off Elliot and took his hand leading him to the kitchen.

"I'm going to invite the guys over later." Liam told me while munching on some bacon. "You should call Ron and the girls. We'll have a small get together."

"Yeah sounds good." I smiled and felt Elliot's arm tighten around my waist. I know he doesn't approve of Liam's friends, or mine for that matter, he hated when I made him hang out with them.
He wasn't going to say anything though, not after last night.

"Your staying Elliot?" Niall asked, not hiding his distaste. I rolled my eyes in annoyance.

"What do you think, ya little punk. It's my girlfriends house, of course I'm staying." He growled.

"Just asking, why so defensive?" Niall smirked. Elliot shot up from his seat attempting to intimidate Niall who just looked more amused.

"Niall Please." I gave him the look and stood up putting a hand on Elliot's chest to push him back. His head snapped down to me, a smug look passing over his face as he looked back at Niall before crushing his mouth against mine. I squeaked in surprise as he aggressively made out with me in front of Niall and my brother. I pushed him away needing air and glared at him. He only kissed me to prove a point and stake his claim. There was no affection behind it, and it wasn't enjoyable for me at all. I turned on my heel and stalked out of the kitchen feeling awkward and embarrassed.

I marched up to my room ignoring Elliot's loud footsteps bring me. I attempted to slam the door in his face but he stopped it before I could.

"What's your problem?" He asked.

"Leave me alone." I glared as he approached me cautiously.

"No."

"Why did you kiss me then?" I asked, hands on my hips, eyebrows raised.

"Your my girlfriend, do I need a reason to kiss you?"

"Yes, when you act like a baboon in front of my brother you do."

"Horan was asking for it. I can't stand him." He groaned.

"He can't stand you either." I turned away from him and hid under my covers, hoping he would just go away. I still wasn't over last night and this was only making it worse. I inwardly groaned as I felt the bed dip next to me and his arms pull me closer to his chest.

"I'm sorry, okay." He sighed. "I shouldn't have done that, or what happened in my car." His voice was soft, regretful, but I still flinched as he mentioned it. "Look at me please."

I slowly rolled over to face him and his eyes immediately flew to the mark on my cheek.

"I don't know what came over me." He breathed.

"I told you it was fine." I whispered, a lump forming in my throat. It wasn't fine but I wouldn't let him see me cry over it, not again.

"Okay." He sighed, I was thankful yet disappointed that he let it go so easily.

We spent the rest of the morning and afternoon watching movies. I was just about to get up from the bed and put in Mean Girls when Elliots hands pulled me back. He layed me down and climbed on top of me. My heart thudded loudly in my chest, worried that he was going to pull the same thing as last night.

"I've missed you." He whispered, kissing my neck.

"I missed you too."

"I know your upset about last night, but I want you." He trailed his lips down to my collar bone, sucking lightly.

"Elliot please, not right now."

His head lifted and stared me in the eyes. "Your serious?"

"Yes." I stated firmly. I wasn't in the mood to have sex with him, especially not after how he behaved the night before.

"Fine." He groaned and plopped down on the bed next to me.

……

"Malik you idiot!" Niall shouted as Zayn missed his shot in beer pong. They were versing Ronnie and I, and we were currently kicking their sorry asses.

"Not my fault you missed the past three shots!" Zayn countered back.

"Yeah well we're about to loose to tweedle drunk and tweedle drunker over there." Niall growled.

"Hey!" Ronnie snapped. "We're not that- hiccup- that drunk."

I would love to agree with her on that but, when it comes down to it I was pretty drunk. Though not near approaching as smashed as Liam at our cousins wedding last year. Let's just say he may have stolen the mic during the best man speech to cry about how proud he was of the cousin we've met maybe twice in our life. My dad got the whole thing on video, which I currently have saved on my laptop for future black mail.

Buzzed would be a better word to describe me in the moment.

"Yes and Olive hasn't been grinding the air for the last ten minutes." Niall pointed out, which made me immediately stop my moving, unaware of what I was actually doing. But hey the song was good, and I was dragged into this game when I really wanted to dance.

"Don't act like you don't like it." I slurred waving a taunting finger at him, which made Ronnie crack up next to me.

"Jeez, I've really missed you when your drunk Livy. My Livy. My besty." She wrapped an arm around my shoulder squishing her cheek against mine.

"What the fuck is going on here?" The loud booming voice of my boyfriend cut through my buzz, practically sobering me on the spot. I almost forgot he was coming back. Elliot had left to have dinner with his parents and promised to be back by eight. In the two hours he was gone, Niall, Liam and I ran to the liquor store and beer distributor. We ended up coming home with way more than necessary for just our group of friends. But who were we to waste beer when we could get wasted on beer. Yes I'm aware of how corny that line was, I just had to.

I may have acted on a whim by getting drunk, totally wanting to piss Elliot off, knowing he had no right to get mad after the way he treated me the night before. Which is why I surely wasn't protesting when Ronnie cracked open the bottle of Svedka.

"Elli!" Ronnie cheered with mock enthusiasm. "So nice of you to join us!"

"Hello Veronica." He greeted her politely, before focusing on me. I could see the anger in his eyes, and I was almost scared to be alone with him. "How much did you drink?"

"This much?" I squinted one eye, as I stared at the small space between my pointer finger and thumb.

"Relax, man have a beer, chill out." Zayn smiled his lazy smile as he clapped Elliot on the shoulder offering him a Budweiser. With a signature frown, Elliot took the beer, popped it open and chugged a sip back. The only thing worse than an angry Elliot was a drunk angry Elliot.

"Maybe, we shouldn't... Let's just go up to my room." I tried to grab his arm and pull him with me, ignoring Ronnie's complaints about the game we were about to win.

"No, you want to drink baby. So we're drinking." He told me, voice calm and cool. I was skeptical but chose to let it go.

"Okay." I muttered, meeting eyes with a suspicious Niall. He gave me a concerned face, which I just shrugged to. No use in making a big deal of nothing. So what if I had a few drinks on a saturday night with my friends? Sue me.

We finished our game, which Ronnie and I slaughtered in.

"Rematch now!" Niall growled, narrowing his eyes at us. "You cheated, Ronnie's been leaning over the table!"

"I was not!" She snapped. "Were too." Zayn added in. "Was not!"
I laughed as their battle continued while Elliot gave me a bored look that basically said 'your friends with these immature imbeciles?'

"Face it! You can't take the heat! You lost to girls! Get over it or I swear Zayn your not getting any of this later in-"

"Alright! Alright! Please for the sake of us all don't finish that sentence Ronnie!" Liam came into the dining room. "We're playing 'never have I ever' in the den, come in we need more peeps."

I decided to let it slide that he used the word 'peeps' in a sentence that didn't involve sugary coated marshmallow chicks.

"Fuck that, they owe us a rematch!" Niall barked. "Right Zayn?" He defended looking for back up in his partner who seemed to have realized where Ronnie was going with that sentence.

"Uhh-" He nervously looked to my best friend. "No sex later?" He whispered. We all groaned in disgust, piling out of the dining room as Zayn tried to get through to a stubborn Ronnie.
Everyone headed to the den while I went to the kitchen and poured a tall glass of water. I needed to sober up if I was going to deal with my boyfriend. I was placing the glass in the sink when I felt hands on my hips, making me shriek and spin around. I huffed out a breath as I saw the laughing Niall.

"Asshole." I muttered. Looking away from him because he looked a little too good in the kitchen lighting.

"I take all of your insults as a compliment Olive." He chuckled going to the fridge and pulling out another case of beer.

"Well your clearly delusional then." I rolled my eyes and shoved a few pretzels in my mouth from the bag on the counter, hoping the carbs would absorb the alcohol.

"If your looking to sober up, theres no use babe." I quirked an eyebrow in confusion, ignoring his pet name. "Never have I ever...your not much of a saint Olive are you?"

I glared at him. "Blockheaded nincompoop."

He threw his head back in a loud laugh, walking towards the hallway. "Compliments Olive, Compliments." I chucked a pretzel at him, just missing his back as he left the room. I debated on going up to my room, figuring Elliot would just come up and find me eventually. Then again I wasn't in the mood to be alone with him just yet.

I swallowed a few more pretzels before finding my way to the den. Everyone was crowded around the couches, including Miya, Kendal, Harry Louis and Eleanor now. I looked over to the three seater where Elliot and Niall sat on opposite ends. It was almost like someone was mocking me up there.

I scanned around the area finding all the seats taken besides the floor, but the slight chill from the air-conditioning canceled that option out. I sat down in between the two guys who had a distinct disliking for each other, my boyfriend and my brothers best friend/ tormentor/ guy who I've made out with more than once now while dating said boyfriend. Oh god, that sounded way worse than I thought.

Niall looked smug at my obvious discomfort. "Lou whats a nincompoop?" He asked with a teasing glance in my direction.

"Uh what? A dumb person, right? Why?"

"No reason." He smiled innocently.

"Pretty sure it was blockheaded nincompoop." I mumbled and by the sound of Niall's chuckle he heard. I grabbed blanket from behind the couch, curling up under it leaning against Elliot who wrapped an arm on the couch ledge behind me.

Niall grabbed the end of my blanket pulling it toward him so it was spread evenly over the both of us. I gave him an annoyed face which made him smirk and wink back at me.

"I'll go first." Harry announced. "Everyone have their beer?"

I stretched forward, grabbing a can from the box on the coffee table.

"Hmm.. Never have I ever walked in on my parents." He smirked.

"Noo." Liam and I both moaned at the same time, making everyone laugh. Not once have we played this game without that one coming up, Harry apparently decided to get out with it right away. They just love to remind us, and make me want to run to the bathroom and toss my cookies everywhere at the memory. Which I think is self-explanatory and I don't need to recall that horrible horrible scarring morning on my parents anniversary six years ago.

It went something like this- two innocent eleven year olds who were excited to have their parents home for such a day, decided to make them breakfast in bed, and will probably never walk in to a room without knocking again.

"Drink up ya little twin perverts!" Ronnie clapped, holding back a laugh, no one will ever get over that story. Liam and I exchanged looks and shudders before gulping back decent sized sips of our beers.

"My turn." Liam rubbed his chin in a thinking motion, clearly recovered from the nightmare of that memory. "Never have I ever gotten ass naked at a party stolen some girls fur coat and wore it around for the remainder of the night." Liam smiled smugly as everyone cracked up this time at the expense of a bright faced Harry. Yep no one fucks with Liam and I and gets away with it, sorry Styles.

"That was fucking gold." Niall balled, tears falling down his face from laughing so hard. Niall was a sight to see when he let go and laughed his ass off, it was completely adorable, and my drunken self would say sexy.

"Shut up everyone. I'll never drink four loco again." Harry shook his head and chugged probably half his beer.

"Never have I ever had sex." Miya grinned proudly, we all clapped for her and took a sip of our beer. She loves the fact that she's the only one left who can use that one. Ronnie and Kendall are always trying to force guys on her but I think it's great that she's waiting. If I never dated Elliot I would be in the same boat as her.
"Horan your turn." Liam said. I glanced at Niall who looked deep in thought before a slow grin took over his face, kind of like in the Grinch Who Stole Christmas when he does that creepy evil smile. I knew whatever he had in mind wouldn't be good for the victim and odds weren't always in my favor when it comes to Niall. I shut my eyes, waiting to see what he was going to say, that was when I felt a large hand begin to stroke my inner thigh. I froze and my eyes flew wide open, my head moving away from leaning on Elliot.

"Never have I ever..." The fingers drew slow circles leading towards my center. My thin leggings offering no barrier. I glared daggers into Niall's head, knowing I couldn't make a movement to push him off without raising suspicion in everyone, for example my boyfriend whose arm was still draped over the back of the couch, behind me. Niall just looked smug, pretending to think. "Never have I ever slept with someone in a relationship." His fingers now pressed against my 'lady part' and I had to bite my lip from letting out an awkward unwanted moan. I wasn't shocked when Kendall, Zayn and Harry all drank, I could hardly focus on them as Niall continued to rub me. It felt way too good and if I wasn't so distracted on trying to not give myself away, I would be plotting the many ways could kill him later.

I was mortified by what was occurring in front of my large group of friends, brother and boyfriend. It was wrong, so so wrong, but I couldn't bring myself to push him away.

"Who knows though," Niall added. "The future is full of possibilities. I believe your up Olive."
I closed my eyes as a shudder of pleasure rippled through me. I attempted to squeeze my thighs together to get his hand away, I couldn't handle it anymore, and if I opened my mouth I would end up moaning. Niall's hands were like steel however because nothing I did seemed to stop them from their movements.

"Pass." I squeaked. Chorus's of no's and boo's went around and I internally groaned as I felt a barely familiar feeling begin to build in my lower abdomen. I've only ever orgasmed twice and never during sex, so the senses running through my body were incredible, which Niall managed to give after a few strokes of his fingers. "Never have I ever," I managed to get out with a shaky breath. I knew everyone was looking at me like I was nuts. "Masterbated." I blurted out before shooting up from the couch. "What?" I snapped at their wierded out stares.

"You okay Liv?" Liam asked, while others tried to suppress their laughs.

"I'm fine! I just have to pee!" I hurried out of the den and up the stairs to my bedroom. I was feeling hot and bothered thanks to Mr. Wandering Fingers Horan. I just needed to go to bed and maybe change the truth behind my never have I ever statement.

I had just stripped out of my clothes so I was in my bra and panties when my door opened and Elliot walked in.

He gave me a hungry look as he took in my lack of clothing. I knew how he must have been feeling. He's been at school for a few weeks now and has stayed true to me. The lack of sexual activity must have been getting to him, which is another excuse I conjured up for him slapping me. Deep down I was aware of how idiotic that was of me, to be making excuses for him, but I couldn't help it. I didn't want to believe that he was that kind of man.

"What was that down there?" He asked, his eyes still distracted on my body.

"Get on the bed." I demanded, ignoring his question.

"What?" His eyebrows shut up in surprise and confusion.

"Bed. Now. Clothes. Off."

His eyes darkened at my words and in a blink he was in front of me lips smashed to mine.
We had done this plenty times before but I couldn't ignore that something felt different, wrong.
