Niall’s P.O.V.
The last two days went by so fast and I’m getting more and more anxious every minute that passes. Right now its noon and I have to pick up Lyric up at four and I’m gonna take her up to the hill and pop the question at 7. It seems so far yet so close. I’m so nervous that I couldn’t even sleep last night. What if she says no. what if she’s not ready to get married. A lot of thoughts are racing through my mind.
“Oi earth to Nialler” Louis waved his hands in front of my face.
“Mhm” I hummed shaking my head snapping out my thoughts.
“Hey mate you alright” Zayn asked
“Yeah why wouldn’t I be” I say nervously.
“Shouldn’t you be picking up Lyric by now” Liam says glancing at his watch.
“What!” I yell getting up off the couch
“Yeah it’s three forty-five” Liam said glancing at his watch again.
“Holy crap I got to go” I quickly slip on my shoes grab my keys and phone and run to my car. I quickly start the car. When I stop at a red light I grab my phone and see that I have two missed calls from her and four texts. Great. I sigh and throw it onto the passenger seat.
“Where were you oh my god I was starting to worry” Lyric says walking towards me.She drops her bags onto the floor and swings her arms around my neck and I wrap my arms around her waist.
“Sorry princess there was a lot of traffic.” I lie. She pulls back and leans in and places her lips against mine her lips lingering a little longer.
“Man I missed you” I say pulling back
“God I missed your Irish accent.” She said and smiled that beautiful smile.
“Hello” she practically yells we enter the living room.
“Hey” they all yell back and get up to hug her.
“So how was softball” Liam asks pulling back from the hug and sitting down.
“Oh the usual ya know being a kickass team and kicking some serious butt.” She shrugs before giggling.
“Yeah we know we saw almost every game” Louis says and smiles and Lyric’s smile widens.
“Aw you guys are so sweet” she said and smiled.

Lyric’s P.O.V.
“Alright bye guys see ya later” I said before closing the door behind them. And I let out a sigh and I walked over to the couch where niall was sitting down channel surfing. As I walked over to him and was gonna sit down next to him I felt niall grab my waist and pull me down so I was sitting on his lap.
“Princess I’m gonna take you out later ok.” He said before kissing my shoulder.
“Oh alright at what time”
“At seven” he said.
“Ok then I got to go take a shower” I said before getting up off his lap and making my way toward the bathroom.

“Wow” niall says “you look beautiful princess.” He gapes.
“Aw thanks and you don’t look so bad yourself” I say and he flashed me a smile before leading me out to front of the building and helping me into the car.
“So where are we going”
“Somewhere” he says and I roll my eyes and he chuckles
“Obviously but where” I whine
“You’re just gonna have to wait and see” he smiles and I groan and lay back into my seat.
Niall’s P.O.V.
“We’re going to get Chinese” she scrunches her nose as I pull up to the drive-thru. I chuckle and shake my head and she raises an eyebrow.
“Oh my god, come on niall where the hell are you taking me” she says as I drive up the road to the top of the hill.
“Just wait we’re almost there.” I say and she sighs.
Once we get to our destination I park the car and I jog around the car and open the door for Lyric.
“holy crap” she whispered when she got out of the car.
“Come here” I say and she walks over to me I grip her waist and lift her up to sit on the hood of the car. I get the food out of the car and sit on the hood as well.
“Thanks you” she says as I hand her food. As we eat we both stay quite taking in the view of the city. When she finishes her food she sets it down on the hood and walks a couple of yards away from the car and sits down on the grass. I smile before walking over to her and sitting down beside her. I wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her closer to me. She moved a little closer and rested her head on my shoulder.
I don’t know how long we stayed like that just sitting down quietly enjoying each other’s company. After a while my legs started to get a little numb and I guess her legs got numb since she suddenly shot up off the ground and started to shake her legs.
“You ok” I ask trying to stifle a laugh
“Yeah no I’m fine but my legs are numb and something crawled up my leg.” She said and I couldn’t hold back the laughter. She rolled her eyes before laughing along with me too. Once I stopped laughing I got up and wrapped my arms around her and she rested her head against my chest. We stayed there just swaying side to side. And I guess she didn’t mind.
“Babe you know I love you right” I said
“Of course I do. And I love you” she said pulling away slightly to look at me. And I couldn’t help but smile down at her she flashed a smile before she placed her head back onto my chest. Ah come on niall just casually ask her.
“hey did you know that when people get married the ring goes on the ring finger on the left hand because it’s the only finger connected to your heart.” Oh god what the heck was that niall. Way to be subtle.
“Huh I guess you do learn something new every day.” She says. Just do it you idiot just ask her. I take in a deep breath I pull away from her and I go on one knee.
Lyric’s P.O.V.
Oh my god is he doing what I think he is doing. Oh god oh my freaking god. I lightly shake my head and cover my mouth with my left hand while I pinch myself with the other. My eyes wide go wide as he pulls out a small black box out of his pocket revealing the most beautiful ring ever.
“Will you Lyric Gonzales make me the happiest man on earth and allow me to take your hand in marriage” he says his eyes glossing over as he stares into my eyes. I immeadtily drop down to my knees and swing my arms around his neck.
“Yes yes yes a million times yes” I say into his ear and a tear slides down my cheek. He pushes my shoulders lightly and smiles at me before crashing his lips to mine. He
“I’ve cheated on my fears, I’ve broken up with my doubts, I’m engaged to my faith, and soon I’ll be marrying my dream.” He says as a tear streams down his face. And that causes me to cry harder and louder and I hugged him as hard as I could.
“I love you to the moon and back” he said into my hair
“I love you to infinity and beyond”
