Ch. 34 Together Forever
Niall’s P.O.V.
*a year later*
“No no no you got it all wrong I think she’ll like this one.” Perrie said pointing to a smaller ring.
“Yeah Lyric likes it nice yet simple” Dani said smiling
“Yeah to be honest niall she’ll love anything you give her.” El said placing her hand on my shoulder. This was one of the toughest decisions ever in the history of mankind, which is why I brought the girls here. They’re helping me pick out an engagement ring I mean who knows girls better than girls right. I was going to bring the boys instead but then I decided against it they would have made this a lot tougher. I still couldn’t believe I was going to propose to her. It was only a couple of weeks ago that I made the decision that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. But one small problem she’s in America playing softball and she comes back in two days. I have two days to prepare for this. Oh god I’m screwed. I sighed and I ran my hands through my hair. My eyes started to water just thinking about it.
“Hey niall are you ok” Perrie asked walking towards me I leaned back on the counter and stared at the ground trying to fight the tears threatening to spill over.
“Niall” she lifted up my chin “niall why are you crying” she asked wiping away the tears that slipped and rolled down my cheeks.
“I have no idea why I guess I’m just way to excited and happy” I sniffled and let out a chuckle. I looked up from the ground up at Perrie and her eyes seamed to water too.
“You don’t think I’m happy and excited for you I barely got any sleep last night.” Her voice cracked. And she too started to cry, but they were tears of joy just like mine. We both stayed there for a minute. Quite. Until I got back up and I embraced her in a hug and she hugged me back.
“Thank you” I whispered in her ear still hugging her
“Anything for a friend” she said
Well we all came to an agreement on a ring I picked it out and the girls loved it so I brought. Patted my jeans pocket and smiled the little box in my pocket held the ring to my future finance. Ever since we left the shop the girls and I couldn’t stop smiling. Right now we are at a small café for lunch since we spent almost all day looking at rings.
“ya know just asking where are you thinking of taking her to pop the big question” Perrie asked taking a sip of her drink. My eyes grew wide damn I had never thought of that as I though the girls leaned in closer to me their eye brows raised waited for my answer.
“I don’t know” I sighed
“That’s what we thought” El said before reaching into her purse and taking out a piece of paper. One of the places that was there was at the beach. I thought that was a pretty good place. They started rambling on and on about some really cool places I could take her but none of them felt right. As I kept thinking and they telling me about places my mind kept going to the hill overlooking the city.
“Hey how about that hill that’s overlooking the city” I said
“Oh my god why didn’t we think of that. That would be so lovely.” Dani said nodding.
(A couple of hours later)
“Thanks so much for all your help you guys made this a lot easier.” I said dropping off the girls.
“No problem” they said and hugged me and disappeared into the building.
I pull out of the parking lot and head back to the flat. I unlocked the door and placed my keys and wallet on the counter.
“I’m actually going to propose to her.” I lightly laughed and walked to the bedroom. I quickly changed into a pair of sweats and lay down on the mattress and stared up at the ceiling. My mind trailing off to the thoughts of me and lyric together. Together forever till death do us part.
