Ch. 25 Another Problem
Niall’s P.O.V.
*two months later*
As I lay in my bunk on my lap top I scrolled down my news feed I came across an interesting picture. I clicked on it and the whole article came up. The article has tons of pictures of Lyric and some guy. As I looked closer I saw who it was. Austin. As I kept reading the article I read that Lyric and Austin had been seen going to the hospital dozens of times and that they had as also had been seen going to a medical sonographer where they assume she was getting an ultrasound. And then they brought me up “is Lyric Gonzales cheating on boyfriend Niall Horan.” Oh my god was she. Was my princess cheating on me? That’s why she’s been acting weird when we were video chatting. And she’s been pretty down and not her usual happy, hyper self. But the only question that was going through my mind was she really cheating on me. Would she really cheat on me?
Lyric’s P.O.V.
“Are you ok Mrs.G do you need anything want anything do you want me to-”
“Lyric I’m fine really I’m ok.” She cut me off. I nodded and left the hospital room. Over the past few weeks Mrs. Garcia has been getting worse and worse it’s getting really bad and it’s getting really depressing to see her suffer.
“Hey are you ok.” Madison asked popping her head out of the room before making her way over to me.
“Yeah I’m fine.” I said plastering a fake smile on my face.
“Are you sure. Like really really extra sure.” She asked raising her eyebrows at me
“Yes I’m sure.” I said lightly laughing.
“ok whatever you say chief.” She said before walking back inside the room. I pressed my back against the wall and I slid down the wall. I rested my head against the wall and I deeply sighed.
“Ok its ok lyric Mrs.G is ok she’s fine and Madison and the babies are ok. And Austin is fine.” I whispered to myself. The minute I looked up I saw a doctor walk in the room. I lifted myself off the ground and walked back into the room.
“Hello ok well I’m sorry to say that we have found another cancer in your body Mrs. Garcia.”
“WHAT!” I yelled standing up from my chair.
“Um what cancer doctor.” Mrs. G asked shakily
“We have also found that you have breast cancer. When we were examining the exray we saw the cancer I’m sorry.” He said placing the exray on the table before he left. I looked over at Madison and she was holding her stomach and lightly sobbing. And Austin was trying so hard not to cry. He was holding his mom’s hand as a tear slid down his face. Tears threaten to spill over. I grabbed my bag and I ran out of the room.
As soon as I was out of the hospital I caught a cab to the flat. I swung open the door and I crashed on the bed and I let me tears fall. Why them? Why did it have to be Mrs. G she’s done nothing wrong she doesn’t deserve this.She’s only barely been diagnosed with leukemia a couple of months a ago and it looks like she’s had it for years and now she has breast cancer too. Even thinking about it made me cry harder.
Niall all I can think about right now is niall. I wish niall could be with me right now and hold me close to him. But no he’s thousands of miles away and he can’t comfort me. the only time he’s not here is when I need him most.
