Niall’s P.O.V.
*two days later*
“Hey have you told lyric yet.” Liam asked me
“No not yet.” I shook my head. “I can’t believe I didn’t tell her last night I was about to but I just didn’t know how” I buried me face in my hands.
“Mate you need to tell her.” Louis said.
“Yeah mate we leave in four days and I don’t think she’s gonna be happy when you abruptly leave for six months.” Liam said placing his hand on my shoulder.
“I know and you know what’s weird. She asked me a couple of days ago she asked me when I did have to leave how long would I be gone for and I didn’t tell her how long though I just said that I didn’t know.” I ran my hands through my hair. “ugh I hate this” I said placing my head on Liam’s shoulder.
“I know mate I know.” He said

“oh hey babe how did it go at the studio” lyric asked before giving me a kiss and walking back into the kitchen.
“Ok I guess. What are you making princess” I asked placing a kiss on her cheek.
“um well I really need to go to the store so I had nothing else but to make spaghetti or take out and seeing as all we have been eating is take out I decide to actually cook dinner.” She said facing me. To which I simply nodded.
“Is everything ok Ni” she asked concerned.
“Oh yeah, yeah no everything’s great.” I lied smiling at her hoping she wouldn’t notice. And she didn’t I think she just shrugged her shoulders and went back to cooking.

Lyric’s P.O.V.
After we ate we sat down in front of the T.V and watch a movie. When Niall suddenly reached for the remote and turned off the D.V.R. he opened his mouth to speak but no words came out.
“Niall babe are you ok.” I asked placing my hand on his knee. He grabbed both of my hands and turned to face me.
“I um I have to um err.” He stuttered
“Niall come on babe spill it before you choke on it.” I said and he sighed
“Remember what you asked me a couple of days ago about how long would I be gone when I did have to leave.” He said
“yeah.” I said waiting for him to continue on what he was about to say but then it hit me he was leaving. And I slightly gasped.
“Niall are you...” I trailed off but he knew exactly what I meant.
“Yes I have to leave in four days.” He said looking down at our hands and rubbing his thumb over my knuckles.
“How long”
“Six months” he said still not looking at me.
“Niall look at me.” I said “because even though I love looking at the top of your head I would like to see your face.” Niall slowly lifted up his head sadness in his eyes.
“So you’re not mad.” He asked
“No but I’m not happy about it. But its ok I mean it’s your job I kinda have to like it.” I lightly laughed “I mean we can call and text and we can Skype everyday if you want.” I said trying to lighten mood.
“I guess yeah.” Niall said
“You have four days right.”
“Yeah four days.” He said nodding his head.
“Ok then I guess we’re gonna have to make the best of these four days right.”
“Yeah” he sighed
“Oh come on baby I wanna see that beautiful beautiful smile.” I said poking his cheeks. His lips curved into a small smile but it was still a smile.
“Ah there it is.” I said beaming. I cupped his face and looked directly into his eyes.
“Niall its ok baby its ok.” I whispered before pressing my lips against his. Niall placed his hands on my waist and I dropped my hands from his face and placed them on his shoulders. I pulled away stared into his eyes before I pecked his lips and I sank down into him. I had my head against his chest and Niall held me as close as possible. He kissed my shoulder then my neck and up to my jaw until he met my lips again.
“We can make this work Ni, we are gonna make this work.”
