Ch. 17 The Beach Part 1
Niall's P.O.V.
“Hey can you pass me the Xbox and the playstation please Hazza.” Lyric asked pointing to the gaming consoles.
“Of course.” Harry said handing her the gaming consoles.
“Thank you.” She said whilst taking it and placing it inside the box. Once she had put it in the box she closed it and put the packaging tape on it and placed it where the rest of them were.
“Ok I think that was the last of them.” Liam said plopping down on the couch
“Yeah I think it was.” Lyric said sitting down next to liam.
“so does that mean we get to go to the beach now.” Louis asked.
“yes it does. Wait what time is it.” Lyric said
“Umm it’s eight o’clock.” Zayn said looking at his watch.
“Ok then I have to go to the store and buy some things before we leave for tomorrow.” Lyric said getting up and walking to the kitchen and grabbing her car keys and purse.
“Ok anyone wanna go with me.” She said turning to face us. I raised my hand and waved it in the air.
“Alright lets go.” She waved me over. I got up and followed her to the car. I got in the passenger seat and she was driving. We got there in less than five minutes. I don’t know if it was because of lyric’s fast driving or if the store is just really close to her house.lyric grabbed a shopping cart and started to dump stuff in. she stopped in front of the sunscreen and started to look for something.
“babe what are you looking for.” I asked
“Sunscreen. Ah ha here we go.” She picked up a bottle and looked at it she nodded her head and grabbed four more bottles.
“Are you sure you’re gonna need all that sunscreen princess.”
“I think so.” She said nodding her head at the bottles in the cart
“for who exactly.”
“for you and the boys.”
“why” I knitted my eyebrows in confusion
“Babe you’ve never been here before you’ve only been to Houston and Dallas. If you think it was hot over there you’re extremely wrong. Ok your either gonna tan or sunburn and trust me it hurts like hell.”
*next day*
Niall’s P.O.V.
“Alright the car’s loaded where’s lyric.” Liam said walking into the living room.” Right then lyric walked down the stairs wearing this http://www.polyvore.com/day_at_beach/set?id=83097736 with some black ray-bans
“Ahh thanks a lot lyric.” Zayn said throwing his hands in the air
“What did I do?” She asked confused
“Your top.”
“What about it.”
“Zayn’s afraid of the water.” Liam said
“Im not scared I just can’t swim.” He defended
“Cause you’re scared.” Louis said
“Shut up.” Zayn said through gritted teeth
“Ok whatever lets go.” Harry said walking to the door. We all followed him to the car.
“Oh Louis by the way you’re driving.” Lyric said getting into the backseat of the car.
“But I don’t know where the beach is and I don’t know how to get there.” Louis said
“The car has a GPS system you’re fine now hurry up and drive.” Lyric said we all piled into the car. Liam was In the passenger seat incase Louis got lost then it was me, Lyric, Harry and then Zayn.
We have been listening to music and enjoying the view and lyric has been pointing out some stuff. We are an hour away and we have been singing the whole way well expect lyric she’s just listening to us sing.
“Standing in the hall of fame.” We finished the song
Payphone started to play.
“come on love just sing.” Zayn and harry said
“Ok alright” she mumbled
“I’m at a payphone trying to call home all of my change I spent on you where have the times gone baby it’s all wrong where are the plans we made for two.” Wow lyric sang really well she wasn’t bad maybe with a little help she could be a professional singer.i got lost in my thoughts that a speed bump snap me back to reality. Lyric was at the rap part of the song.
“man fuck that shit I’ll be out spending all this money while you sitting round wondering why it wasn’t you who came up from nothing made it from the bottom now when you see me I’m stunning. And all of my cars start with a push of a button telling me the chances I blew up or whatever you call it. Switch the number to my phone so you never could call it don’t need my name on my show you can tell it I’m ballin’. Swish what a shame could have got picked had a really good game but you missed your last shot so now you talk about who you see at the top.” Lyric kept rapping I motioned for liam to turn off the radio but he refused. So I went back to listening to my girlfriend rap.
“or what you could’ve saw but sad to say it’s over for phantom pulled up valet open doors Wiz like go away got was looking for now ask me who they want so you can go and take that little piece of shit with you.” She ended the rap. Now liam turned off the radio and we all stared at her surprised.
“what” she asked looking back at us.
“that was awesome” zayn said
“amazing.” Liam said
“fantastic.” Louis said
“beautiful.” Harry said slightly clapping his hands
“marvelous.” I said
“oh shut up” she said whilst playfully hit me in the arm
“Oww” I said rubbing the spot she had hit me. And she just rolled her eyes and started to stare out to the road
