Skylar's P.O.V
Quickly texting Rachel back, saying that I'd pass on hanging out, I stuff my phone away and plug in my earphones to block out my thoughts. Blasting Photograph by Ed Sheeran, I roll off of my bed and head to the calendar, groaning when I see we only have 2 weeks left of school. You know what that means, Finals.. Yay!
Glaring at it, I stick my tongue out and storm out of the room, bobbing my head as the music continues, only stopping when I reach a small coffee shop. Once inside, I breath in the strong scent of coffee and sit down at one of the many small tables placed around the shop.
I pull out my phone and debt whether to invite Luke or not, he's probably mad at me, Harry's not an option. I pull out my earphones and stuff them away, grabbing my phone and staring at it with my eyebrows drawn together. With a swipe of my finger, I called my mom and nervously waited for her to answer.
"Laura Storm, how may I help you?" My moms voice rang through the phone, making butterflies erupt in my stomach.
"Hey mom." I squeak, cringing slightly.
"Skylar? Are you alright?" She asked, my fathers voice said something in the background.
"I'm-" I begin, but get cut off.
"We have to go, I'll see you in two weeks!" She said, then the line went dead. Pulling the phone back, my face falls and I stand up, hugging myself as I exit the warm café and walk into the freezing cold. Rubbing my cold hands together, I make my way back to my dorm, stumbling inside and onto my bed. Letting out a frustrated breath, I roll off the bed and head over to my dresser, pulling out a skirt and the 5sos shirt. I then go to the bathroom to take a quick shower, after that, I throw on the clothes and apply some makeup before exiting the bathroom.
I grab my phone and text Luke asking him if he wanted to hang out, and a second later, he replied with a simple okay. And with that, I was off to his apartment with a smile on my face.

Sorry for the stupid chapter, I totally ran ideas, maybe its becauseI only had 3 hours of sleep.. Eh, idk :P
