Skylar's P.O.V
The whole day went by in a blur, I didn't even enjoy art class. I sighed as I walked to my dorm with my head down, my phone suddenly buzzed signaling someone's calling me. I grabbed my phone from my pocket and answered it, "Hello?" I answered and keep walking, "Skylar, its me Luke. I was wondering if you'd want to stop by since your classes are over." He said into the phone, "How do you know my classes are over, are you stalking me or something?" I asked already annoyed, "What? No, I just want to see you." he explained, I bit my lip and answer him, "Yeah sure, I'll be over soon." I end the call and make my way over to Luke's place.. Once I get there I got up the stairs and knock on his door, Ashton opened and picked me up and spinning me around. "Ashton!" I shouted while laughing, "You had me worried there, I almost thought you forgot who I am." He said with a smile, I shook my head and gave him a blank look. "What do you mean?" I asked, "Well, you haven't been over here in ages, and Luke has been miserable without you." Ashton whispered, I raised an eyebrow and rolled my eyes. My eyes scanned the room stopping on a poster, "Five Seconds of Summer? Who are they?" I asked walking over to it, "Us, we named our band." Ashton answered proudly, "Why five? There are only four of you guys, it doesn't make sense." I mumbled, "You think our name is stupid?" A voice said from behind, I spun around and met Luke's blue eyes. "Maybe, I mean, come on. Five Seconds of Summer? Why not make it Three Hundred Years of Winter." I say sarcastically, Luke and Ashton burst out laughing. "What, what's so funny?" I asked confused, "Nothing, I'll leave you two alone. See ya, Skylar." Ashton said and ran out the door, I stood there awkwardly biting my lip as Luke stared at me. "What happened?" He asked all of a sudden, I looked at him and debated weather to tell him or not. "My brother.. he died." I answer feeling tears well up in my eyes, I quickly brush them away and sit down on the couch. "I'm so sorry, how are you?" He asked sitting next to me, "Fine." I answer taking a deep breath, "No you're not." He whispered and pulled me in for a tight hug, I leaned my head on his chest. After a few minutes I pulled myself together and got off the couch, "So, have you written any new songs?" I asked while walking to the guitars, I picked one up and handed it to Luke. "Yeah, a couple actually." He said grabbing a book from the tablet, I snatch it out of his hands and flip through the pages. My eyes stopped on a song called Heartbreak Girl, I smiled and handed him the book back. "Sing this one." I say, he laughed and started playing it on his guitar. I He keeps singing to me until I fall asleep smiling.
