Rachel's P.O.V.

When I went back to the room neither Skylar or Tricia were there.

It was early enough though, they could still be in classes.

Throughout the day it had gotten surprisingly hot so I changed into something a bit cooler.

Once I was changed I plopped down on my bed, checking my phone.

There was one text from Louis.


'Meet me in the theatre in 20 minutes?'


I bit my lip as I read it.

I wasn't fully sure where it was.

When Louis had brought me there it was dark and I wasn't really paying any attention to which direction we were going in.

I text him back quickly.


'I'm not too sure exactly where it is. Can you come by my room first?'


Not long after he replied with a yes so I just stayed on the bed, thinking things over.
I was still really surprised he had kissed me.

Not that I didn't like it.

I think I had known for a while really that I liked Louis as more than a friend.

Everything he did amazed me. From his stupid jokes he told to make me laugh, his fantastic piano playing to his beautiful blue eyes.

There was one major problem though.

Harry.

I knew Harry would freak out if he knew Louis had kissed me.

Louis was his best friend, I'd never want to do anything to jeopardise their friendship.

Yet, when I heard a knock on the door I couldn't help but jump off of the bed quickly, flinging it open.

"Hey" Louis gave me a warm smile, scanning me up and down.

I smiled back.

"Hey" I replied.

"You ready to go? I know the theatre's a weird place to go, but no one goes there this time of day so we'd have some privacy" he shrugged.

I nodded.

"I figured we could talk about what happened earlier" he continued.

"Well let's go" I closed the door softly behind me as I said it.

We chatted as we walked to the theatre. This time I was paying close attention to where I was going for future reference.

When eventually we got there I rushed up to behind the stage where the large grand piano was.

I sat down on the leather stool, messing around with the keys a bit.

"Wow, you're a natural" Louis teased, resting his hands on my shoulders to lean over and watch me.

"I know right. I'm basically a musical prodigy" I turned around quickly, causing him to remove his hands.

He leaned down for a minute, pressing a quick peck to my lips.

I smiled slightly as he pulled back.

"We really need to talk about.. What this is" he told me, lacing his fingers with mine.

I sighed.

"Do we really?" I asked.

He frowned slightly.

"What do you mean?" he questioned back.

I shrugged.

"Well can't we just keep hanging out and see where this goes?" I suggested.

I really wasn't good at relationships.

'The Talk' was never something I was looking forward to.

I stood up, wrapping both my arms around his neck once I saw his face fall slightly.

"I just don't wanna rush this or anything.. And you and I both know that Harry would flip if he found out.. So maybe we should just see how it goes before we make a big deal about it..?" I tried explaining myself to make him feel better.

He pressed a quick kiss to my forehead.

"Okay. Sounds good to me" He replied.

I sighed in relief.

"And until we know exactly what this is, we should keep it to ourselves" he added.

I nodded.

"That means you can't tell anyone Rach. Not even Skylar or Tricia" he continued, raising an eyebrow.

Let's just say I wasn't exactly the best at keeping secrets.

"I know, I know. It's hard but I'm sure I can handle it" I replied.

He smirked.

"That's what she said" he replied quickly.

I rolled my eyes, giggling at his cliché joke.

"Seriously though" he chuckled "a secret"

I nodded.

"A secret" I agreed, reaching up to let my lips meet his.
