Your POV:

I looked good in my new unique styled outfit, I was sporting all kinds of colors, it was really loud and out there, but I didn’t care, I wanted something new and this is what I chose.

I saw in the mirror my mom in the doorway. I spun around to see her wipe off a freaked out look on her face, “What’s up mom?” I asked nervously.

“Baby, are you…um, are you okay?” I could tell she wanted to ask something else, but ended up asking that.

“Yeah.” I knitted my brows at her, wanting to know what she wanted to know.

“Um, are you, you know…” she looked around to find the right words to say to me, “Doing drugs?” she rushed out quickly.

I dropped my jaw at that, horrified that my mom would even suggest such a thing, “Drugs? Drugs mom? Really! I am not on drugs!” I yelled in frustration.

“Those clothes…”

“My clothes have nothing to do with it mom!”

She wouldn’t let it go, “You do not dress like this *your full name*! This is what they call a kid experimenting with stuff!”

I dropped my jaw at her, wanting to scream at her that she was fucking stupid! Instead I blurted out:
