I'll Be Superhuman

Liliya and Minette have grown very close over this past couple of months. Minette really liked that Liliya could use the same powers as her so she didn't feel completely alone. Also it was fun because they would laugh at people's thoughts.

It was the first weekend of their spring break but Liliya wasn't allowed to go home since her powers have been going crazy lately. It was really starting to make Liliya frustrated. She didn't ask for this to happen but she couldn't stop it either. Liliya could also tell that Minette was getting worried for her. Kind of like the way a sister would.

Louis and his family went away on a vacation for spring break which left Harry here all by himself in his room. He was suddenly awoken by banging on his door. He gets up and sees Minette on the other side. "Finally couldn't stay away huh? Lou won't be happy--"
"Shut it Styles. Its Lilly…something is wrong with her…" Harry ran back to their room and came face to face with himself? What the hell? Zayn and Perrie also came in after a few minutes.

"Holy shit that is creepy." Zayn was looking as Harry turned into some blonde babe.

Perrie couldn't even speak. This was by far the worst thing that Liliya could have. Perrie just watched as the blonde chick changed back into Liliya. "Minette how long--" Perrie looked to Minette. "This is new. Yesterday I woke up and the whole room was frozen. Now this! God she doesn't even know!"

Minette felt beyond sorry for Liliya. Minette could only just watch as Liliya struggled with this power of hers. But she was also very intrigued by it. This is unlike any power ever displayed by a mutant. Then suddenly instead of Liliya in her bed there was a freaking tiger. Everyone jumped back.

Harry couldn't believe his eyes. Liliya just turned into a tiger.
"Should we…I don't know…wake her up?" Harry looked around for some answers.
"Yea you do that I'm going to get Professor." Minette quickly left hoping that Prof. X would be up. Zayn, Perrie, and Harry looked at the tiger and didn't move.

"Okay lads one of you go wake her up…" Perrie looked at the boys. No way in hell was she about to poke a sleeping tiger.

Harry groaned and was about to poke her with a broom when she morphed back into herself. "Thank god." He sighed in relief because who knew what could've happened if she was still a tiger.

Liliya felt someone shaking her. She slowly opens her eyes to see Harry, Zayn and Perrie all staring at her. Minette comes barging in. "Oh thank god you are awake. Professor wants to see you."
"Why? Minnie what is everyone doing in our room?"
"Well we all have to go with you so you'll find out soon."
Liliya just groaned and threw on a sweatshirt and followed everyone out. Harry had his arm around her waist. "Harry what's going on?"
"Lilly everything will be fine okay?"
"Are they going to--"
"No. I won't let them."

Harry quite honestly didn't know what Professor was going to do but he hoped that Liliya was going to stay. He couldn't imagine Professor just sending her back to S.H.E.I.L.D. She leaned into him and just sighed. They made it to Professor's office. "Liliya please sit down. Now tell me Minette what exactly happened."

Liliya looked at her best friend while she retold everything that has happened the past few days. God her powers were just getting worse. Harry was next to her and saw tears slowly rolling down her face. "Shh its okay Lilly everything will be fine…"
"NO IT WON'T! It's only getting worse! I'm a freak Harry! Maybe they should've just killed me…" Everyone just gaped at Liliya she didn't just say that. Perrie frowned at her. "Lilly don't say that…things will get better. I still don't have full control of my powers. Come on cheer up!" Liliya looked at Perrie who was smiling.

Harry wiped her tears with his thumb. They have grown a lot closer these past few months which made Harry really happy. He liked being there for her. And now more than ever since her and Andrew had this falling out.

"Liliya this past week has been quite a struggle for you…is there anything that has made you emotional? Generally our emotions play a factor in how much control we have with our powers." Professor X looked at her. Liliya now knew why she had been having a power freakout. Andrew came to visit last weekend but they got into this huge argument because Harry asked her to the dance that's held every year in May. So then Liliya told him that she couldn't be friends with him anymore. And he's been texting her and calling her trying to apologize ever since. "I got into a fight with my closest friend from back home…"
"That may be why. Well how about you go back and try to rest up some. Thanks Minette for notifying me." They all said goodbye and headed back.

Minette watched as Liliya got into bed and just laid there. "So are you going to forgive Andrew?"
"I don't know Minnie. I miss him…but he can't get all weird and protective over me."
"I know. Hey maybe tomorrow we can go into the city! I'll ask Professor maybe that will help you. You can show me around!"
"I'd like that Minnie. Maybe I just need to talk to Andrew. Ugh guys can be so much work."

The Next Day…

Liliya put on a pair of jeans and a simple t-shirt. Harry was with her while they were waiting for Minette to finish getting ready. Harry was holding Liliya's hand. "You're sure that you're doing okay? I don't want you to--"
"I'll be fine Harry. Trust me. Come on let me see that smile!" Harry looked at her and smiled. Minette came out in jeans and long sleeved shirt. "Finally you ready to go Minnie?"
"Yep oh I am so excited!!" Minette looked at Harry and heard his thoughts. 'Please let her be safe. I hope she doesn't have an attack…' Minette grabbed Liliya's other hand and dragged her out of the X-Mansion.

Niall and Liam were out in the city because that's what you do during spring break here. They were supposed to be going with Andrew too but he has been really upset over his falling out with Liliya. They rounded the corner and smacked right into two people. Liam quickly apologized. "Oh my gosh! We are so sorry…Liliya?"

Niall looked at the redhead before him. He felt his heart speed up. "Oh uh hey Liam…Niall. What are you guys doing here? Don’t you have school?"
"Nope its spring break…are you off as well?" Niall prayed that they were. Maybe he could hang out with Liliya, just the two of them.

Liam wasn't really even looking at Liliya. He was looking at Minette. She looked a bit panicked.
"You okay Minette?" Liam questioned.
"Huh? Oh yes just fine…Lilly we should be going…"

Minette was pulling on Liliya's arm to get her to leave. Why? Because these guys gave her the creeps and Liliya wasn't really in the condition to be around humans. "Wait why don't we go get food together? You guys hungry?"

Liliya's eyes snapped to Niall's. She really was not in the condition to be around regular people. Minette was pleading with her to leave. Of course via telepathy. 'Come on they are weirdos! Lets just go back home.' Liliya sighed. Minette did have a very valid point. But she liked Liam and Niall. "We were actually just heading back home."

Niall and Liam looked at each other. Did they live in the city? Andrew said they went to a boarding school. "Sure sure. Hey we'll walk with you. What street do you live on?"
"We don't live in the city." Liam looked that the blonde beauty. She seemed to not like them very much. He wonders why…they got along when she was at Andrew's.
"Oh…where is your boarding school then?"

Liliya looked at Niall like he had two heads. What? He was just wondering. If he knew then maybe Liam and he could go visit them. That would be fun.

"What?!" Boarding school? Then Minette's voice sounded in her head again. 'That's what Andrew must've told them…'

Liam and Niall looked at the girls. They looked like they were having a conversation but in each other's heads. Liam cleared his throat and their heads snapped back to him. "Yea which school do you go to?"
"None of your business nosy."

Minette has had enough of this. She just wanted to go back to the X-Mansion. Liliya has had enough too. They quickly say goodbye and practically run away from the two boys. They get back to the X-Mansion out of breath and laughing at their sucky luck. "That was so close."
"I completely agree! Whew good thing we booked it out of there huh? Well I hope you like the city Minnie because that may be the last time I venture out there." They laughed again and headed to go get some food.

Harry spotted Liliya coming back in. She and Minette looked to be laughing about something. He was all by himself because Zayn and Perrie went off somewhere. "Harry! Aww you should've came if you were going to be by yourself all day!" He just smiled at Liliya and shook his head. "No better if I just stayed here. Girls like to go shopping and I don't." They went to get food then came back and told him about their adventure.

But Liliya and Minette left out the part of running into Liam and Niall again. Only Liliya and Minette knew that they were the peepers.
