I'll Be Superhuman

Its time. Now everything will fall into place. Or so Liliya thought. But here she is laying in bed staring at the ceiling, dreading going to fight. Which is weird, because she has been training for something like this her whole life…its all she knows. Well knew…Niall showed her what it was like to be normal…a normal teenager. Now she finds herself going into battle and she may not come back. Before she thought it was an honor to die on the battlefield. But now…she wants to live and come back to him. She looks at the clock and it reads noon. They were leaving in two hours. Then striking at sundown. Liliya curled closer into Niall. Just soaking it up…fearing this may be the last time she will feel his warmth.

Perrie was asleep until about 11am. Her eyes flew open and she couldn't fight off the excitement buzzing through her body. She was ready for action, more ready than she had been when she broke it off with Zayn. And she was pretty ready for the pain after that. She flew out of bed and bounced into the kitchen. She was making her meal until she heard Zayn yell for her, so she ran back to her room. "What?!"
"You are to be glued to my side until you leave okay?...because what if…what if I never see you again?" Perrie rolled her eyes at him.
"Don't talk like that. I'll be fine…you hungry? Because I'm going back to making my breakfast." Zayn groaned but got up. Wow he must be serious because Perrie knew how Zayn loved to sleep. She fixed them both up something to eat. Then after that they decided to walk around the grounds for old times sake as Zayn put it. Perrie just went with it though. Pointless to argue over this again, so she just had to prove him wrong by coming back in one piece. She wondered if Liliya and Minette were up yet, while Zayn and her walk hand in hand around the gardens.

Minette woke up as soon as Perrie shut the door. After untangling Liam's limbs from hers she got up and showered. She got out just in time to see a bedhead Liam with the sheet still wrapped around his exposed torso, looking frantic. His eyes found her towel wrapped body, and relaxed for a moment. "Liam jesus, what are you doing?! Do you know how long it takes me to make my bed? On average I take about an hour." He didn't really respond but just flash her a smile before heading back to her room. She groans and gets dressed then heads out and sees Liliya already up too. "Well aren't you up early Lilly…did you get too warm too?" Liliya looked confused then seemed to understand.
"No…just didn't want to lay there any longer…how are you feeling?" Minette knew what she meant by that question. How was she feeling about going into battle and potentially not coming back.
"Shockingly I'm okay. I know that we will have them outnumbered…because we have the whole Avengers and X-Men with us. Compared to what 20 maybe 25 guards. And probably not the best ones they've got. It will be a cake walk. Plus we have you…our like secret weapon."

After hearing Minette break it down like that…Liliya felt calm about…her spark for fighting was breathing again. "Thanks Minnie. That’s just what I needed to hear. We have an hour…where's Perrie?" She was looking around for her white haired friend but Perrie was nowhere.
"I think her and Zayn went to the gardens…wait…yep they are definitely there. Doing god knows what." They both look up and snicker. Then right on cue both Liam and Niall come out wearing just a pair of shorts and their hair all over the place. Minette places bowls of cereal in front of them and they just sit down and dig in. Zayn and Perrie come rushing in. "Guys time to get ready! Gear up! This is what I have been waiting for my whole life." Then Perrie just runs out leaving everyone kind of confused before Minette and Liliya head out after her.

A Few Hours Later…

They have been sitting waiting like a wild cat waiting to pounce on its prey. Liliya just wanted to pounce already. She was tired of waiting in this stuffy car with Andrew. Her and Minette have been having a silent conversation but they eventually ran out of things to say so it turned into 'I Spy'. That was until the moment finally came for them to pounce.

Minette and Perrie burst out of their spot and rushed over to meet Liliya and Andrew. Then they stalked upon the prey like a well-organized machine. She was impressed by Andrew, but he was trained to be a killer, and they needed him to get them into the place. Wolverine and the others took out the guards outside. They meet up and Andrew does the pin and the door opens. Minette quickly scans the inside corridor and only senses one guard, so she signals Liliya to go in and get him. Which she does with ease, she is the perfect predator. They inched along picking off guards one by one. Until they reached the warehouse. Then it was like guard central. There was easily 15-20 swarming around.

Perrie felt her throat close up. They had to get rid of 15-20 guards and destroy about 50 robots. This was a tall task even for the task force they managed to recruit. Then she heard Liliya speak up. "Well are we going to introduce ourselves…I think this party needs some livening up." She had on this wicked grin, it almost scared her. Almost. But then Perrie realized that Liliya has been trained since she was 10 to do this and worse. Andrew was wearing the same kind of grin, the kind that could make your blood go cold. Perrie gulped and tried to regain her composure.
"Lets blow this joint up." And that's what Perrie did. She zapped the closest guards knocking them out instantly. Then the bloodhounds were released, which would be Liliya and Andrew. It was almost like art watching them, bloody and gory art but art. She was tasked with frying the man circuits of the sentinels. So off she went, zapping a few guards on her way.

Andrew has never felt this good in ages. Him and Liliya were flying around slicing and dicing, well he was but she was using her powers. Which was amazing to witness. It was beautiful, she was beautiful. That was until he lost sight of one person and he had his gun trained on her. His angel. So he did the one thing that any guy would do who was so in love with someone. He jumped in front of the bullet. Taking the shot for her. He sat up and watched the blood seep through his fighting gear. Liliya was there in an instant, surrounding them in this shield that no one could get through. "Andy…Andy come on don't close your eyes on me. Stay with me please." He reached up and touched her face. He watched as she went to heal him but he pushed her away. What's the point in living when he couldn't have her?
"Andrew stop being a doofus and let me heal you."
"No Liliya…let me die a heroes death. Besides…" Then he felt her hands on his abdomen.
"Its not healing…why?! Andy ANDY!" His eyes closed then everything went black.

Perrie was up on some sentinel when Andrew Stark went down, when Liliya went berserk and all the bad guys just collapsed. All the sentinels crumbled, good thing she could fly. Minette was the first one over there, trying to bring Liliya back to the real world. Mr. and Mrs. Stark were grieving over their lost son. Which gave Perrie enough time to check out the guards. Minette soon was beside her. "She gave them a brain hemorrhage. That explains the blood coming out their noses, then she stopped their hearts." Perrie couldn't believe that.
"She couldn't have…that's not something that--" Minette cut her off.
"I could still access her mind Perrie. Come on we need to get Liliya out of--" Then there was a loud crash.

Minette whirled around and saw all the rest of the Purifiers, which included Niall's dad and Jill. Jill looked sick at the sight of Andrew. Suddenly there were Purifiers descending upon them at full force. Minette quickly flung some up for Perrie to zap. They had to get to Liliya. Who knows what she will do in this state. Over the sounds of battle she can hear Jill's cry, "You killed him you monster!" and she could hear Mr. Horan yelling to kill all of them. Soon there wasn't much of the Purifiers left, most of them surrendered. So it was just Mr. Horan and Jill were left. Surrounded. Liliya looked like Jill got some hits on her. Minette and Perrie quickly scrambled over to her.

Liliya saw her friends run over, honestly she didn't know what happened to her when Andrew…died. But it was like everything slowed down and she was just able to do incredible things. Like kill all the guards and destroy every sentinel. But no way in hell could she do that again. So after that huge battle, she had some cuts from Jill to prove it although she is healing those up. Magneto is currently at the head of their group, eyeing down Mr. Horan. Jill looked to be suffering from shock damage and a few broken ribs. It was enough to make her smirk a bit. "Hey you okay? I mean you went all divine being on us again."
"Well I am known as Divina, Minnie." She felt Minette hug her.
"Glad to have you back." She watched as Magneto bound both of them up in metal and floated them out. It was a long drive back to the Mansion.

Niall saw her walk in…they locked eyes and she came running over, tears falling down her face. He ran over and swept her up. Her legs around his waist, crying into his neck, muttering that he's gone over and over again. Niall sunk to the ground holding her, telling her everything will be okay now. She was sobbing, Niall felt his heart break for her more and more as each gasping sob escape her mouth. Everyone just left them be in the middle of the foyer. Eventually she stopped crying and leaned back. "I love you Niall." He smiled weakly and pecked her lips.
"I love you too. Now lets get you to bed…okay?" She nodded but still clung to him. So he got up and walked back to her apartment. That's when it dawned on him how much she needed him, maybe because he lived such a normal life…he needed to give her a normal life now.

Perrie and Zayn were currently living life in Perrie's room. Which is why Liam and Minette were outside the apartment with the rest of the gang when Niall came walking up holding a cried out, sleeping Liliya. "Uh what is everyone--"
"Perrie and Zayn are engaged in coitus." Liam made a face at Minette's words.
"They are having sex, you don't always have to make everything sound so smart." Minette just shrugged. Liam rolled his eyes but to be honest that's what he loved about Minette, that and when she's waiting she will do math in her head or on the floor using her finger. Which is what she is doing right now. Harry was asking Niall what happened with Liliya. Louis and Eleanor went off to get drinks and snacks, but they were probably making out somewhere. Liam heard about what Andrew did to save Liliya. Well at least he died with honor. Just like how he would've wanted to go.
