Do I Frighten You?

Once I had finished putting on some clothes I went back into my room and then laid back down on my bed letting my hair air dry and found myself falling asleep again.

Harry's pov

I had went to work and I saw that Jess haven't come to work today, I had texted Amelia a few times but she didn't answer, I decided to work on an article about, the movie that me and Amelia had watched last night, I didn't really know the name about it but it was about how the guy had got the girl in the end and they live Happily ever after. It was a romantic film. Ethan had gotten her romantic things.

Once I was almost done, my boss had checked in on me and then he made his way to go and talk to me, His eyes were looking over papers and then he had called me his office.

We had walked into his office and I had took a seat.

“Mr. Styles” He said with a big smile. “I loved this article you did on your first day.” He said holding up the paper. “You know, the one about the girl you lost, and I wanted to know if you could publish it?”

I did make a little article about Amelia, about how I missed her and all of the things I loved about her. “Yeah, I can.” I said with a smile.

I was so tired today, I had to drink my coffee to keep myself on track and I had to make sure that I had gotten the best sleep I could last night without thinking about all of this, I was going to be a dad. I think I was going to be sick.

Once work was over, I went straight to Amelia's house, hopefully her mom isn't home. I don't know her mom kind of hates me I think.

I knocked on her door, and oh her mom answers. “Good evening Harry.” She said looking at me.

“Good evening.” I say in a soft tone. “Is Amelia in?”

“Yes, she is in her room.” She said opening the door for me.

“Thank you.” I said and then making my way up to her room, Her room was slightly open and then I peaked in and seen her laying on the bed tiredly. She was sleeping, I smiled and then sat next to her bed and then stroked her hair out her her face, it was was still wet, she must have been up taking a shower.

I leaned down and then pressed a kiss on her cheek. I had made my way out of her room and then back down stairs, I seen her mom in the living room watching T.V.

“Leaving already?” She said softly.

“She's sleeping and I don't want to disturb her.” I said with a soft smile.

“Then you can help me with the garden out back.” She said standing up from the couch. “I will let you borrow some of my ex husbands clothes.”

I nodded and then sat down on the couch as she went up stairs and a few minutes later she came down stairs with some things. I smiled as she came down with somethings.

“You can change into these.” She said handing me some brown khaki pants and blue long sleeve and a pair of working boots. “The bathroom is down the hall”

She handed me the clothes and then I made my way to the bathroom, I closed the door behind me.

I had finished and looked at myself in the mirror, I looked different, I don't wear pants like this anymore, I sighed and then stepped out the bathroom and looked for Amelia's mom. She looked at me and then smiled.

“You're ready.” She said and then tagged me alone out back.

I seen a garden, I never been in there backyard before, I never knew that they had a garden, it was a nice garden.

“So we are going to have to be planting.” She said grabbing a shovel and handing it to me.

“Thanks.” I said looking at the garden, It was beautiful.

“I haven't worked on the garden ever since my husband left.” She said picking up some vines.

I felt bad for her, It was only her and Amelia..

“Well, you have me now.” I said giving her a warm smile. She smiled back.

“Thank you, Harry, That is very nice of you.” She said. “I forgot my gloves.” She gasped and then stood up and went to grab some gloves.

I had waited for her to come back, it was not long until she did.

I had woken up again, feeling much better, I sat up on the bed and then heard laughing. I frowned, What? I had began to walk down stairs and then I heard the voices, and then looked out back, I seen my mom and Harry in the garden, they must have been planting stuff. The cute thing was is that Harry did not have on black at all, I never seen him wear khakis before. It made me smile, I stepped out back and then they both saw me.

“She's awake.” My mom said putting her hands up.

“She is!” Harry said in the same tone as my mom.

What were they? Like best friends now. I waved at the both of them.

“Come join us?” My mom called towards me. I didn't feel like getting dirty today, so I pasted, I went into the house and decided to cook some breakfast. I looked at the cook on the stove and it was it was almost five. Really?

I sighed. I was hungry, I feel refreshed, and great right now. I was just hungry right now. I grabbed some pancake batter and then made some pancakes.

Once I had finished my mom and Harry had came back in and then looked at me.

“You have fun?” I asked, looking at the both of them.

“We had a blast.” Harry said pulling off his gloves. “We should do this some more Emily.” Harry said looking at my mom.

What? They are on first name basic now? I smiled at the both of them, I rather be friendly than have them both hate each other.

“We are all finished now.” She said, “I should make dinner, Harry would you want to stay for dinner?”

He was thinking for a moment. “Yeah, I should.”

I was happy that he was doing much better, I was happy that he was happy and that that his ex was not on his mind right now. I smiled and finished my pancakes.

My mom had made some meatloaf and I was so excited. I loved meatloaf. My mom kept on asking me, Didn't I just eat, and I just said I was still hungry and that the food smelled good. She had allowed Harry to go up and take a shower, I was so proud of them becoming friends and all.

Once the meatloaf was finished, I sat down at the table and then my mom had handed me some food, and I just ate. It was so good, and so hot. It almost burnt my mouth.

“This is amazing.” Harry said after taking the first bite.

“Thank you sweetie.” She said and then sat down at the table with her plate and then we all were eating. It was silent. Until I finished my food.

I had sat at the table for a while, I was so full. I had got out my phone and looked at it, just scrolling through things and looked at videos that made me laugh, breaking the silence.

It was moments later until I felt sick again, but this time, I just felt like I needed to throw up, I stood up from the table and both Harry and my mom had looked at me as I got up to quickly.

“Are you okay?” Harry called, “Excuse me.” Harry said to my mom and then stood up and went after me.

I had found myself in the bathroom, on my knees at the toilet sick. Harry had came in.

“Get out.” I said holding my stomach not wanting him to see me like this.

“You had ate too much food.” He said and then pulled my hair out my face.

“I did.” I said and then sighed and flushed to toilet.

“Is everything okay?” I heard my mom say with concern in her voice.

“Yeah, I just ate too much.” I said ad then sighed standing up.

I opened the medicine cabinet, and then looked for my toothbrush. “Can you guys get out now, I am as embarrassed as it is.” I said pushing the both of them out. They laughed when I closed the door.

This chapter i feel is long, I will be updating today, May be a little slower than yesterday's because I am at school and they tell me to put my laptop up xD
