Harry

I made my way over to the Hermes cabin which was the one that looked like the oldest cabin.

It looked like it was crumbling down and when I stepped through the door I could easily spot who was Hermes kids were, they all had sharp noses and suspicious looking smiles that made me decide to not let anyone get near my trouser pocket's.

I saw two boy's however who seemed to not share the other kids feature's.

I hoped that meant they were unclaimed like me, I was about to walk over when... "So this is the new boy, I've been hearing about, going to faint or throw up on us?"A cold voice sneered.

Everyone chuckled in the cabin, Oh fantastic, how fast had this news travelled? Who told them? But I had a nagging feeling I knew who. Once again my face flushed red with embarrassment as the boy who had spoken stood up and looked at me up and down unimpressed at what he saw.

I glanced at the two other boy's who I knew were like me but they did nothing, the one with the blond hair was watching my reaction at least he wasn't laughing and the other boy looked like he wanted to help me but wasn't sure what to say or do.

What a big help... I thought as I looked back at the other boy that was making me feel like a cowardly tomato.

He was around 15 or 16, he was taller and bigger than me. What the hell was his problem?

He said "Lets hope you're not our brother, we don't like wimps"

The other kids in the room made agreeing noise's, and shot me glare's and disapproving looks.

"Why don't you pick on someone your own size, Harris?" Someone said behind me.

I turned around to meet a tall, lean, boy standing in the doorway, he looked either 19 or 18 I wasn't sure.

Harris looked pretty pitiful next to him.

"Travis, I thought you'd left the camp already" Harris said coldly.

"Kate wasn't ready to leave yet" Travis said, he shrugged looking not that bothered.

"I'm going to be staying here all this summer, luckily I stayed, right Harris?" It seemed a simple question but I noticed Travis eye's were bright with amusement and with mockery.

Harris went red and gritted his teeth "Right" he said, the tension in the air and it seemed to rise with the mention of the girl Kate.

I realised that they didn't hate each other, no, they loathed each other, I wondered what had gone on between them to despise each other so much.

Harris looked like he wanted to kill Travis but even thought they were roughly the same size, Harris didn't attack Travis like he was dying to do but mealy settled for a glare instead. I thought everyone else would be glaring but all them were smiling and they greeted him eagerly and respectively.

"So, what's new? Where's Conner? Travis asked ignoring Harris completely.

One of the kids replied "His down in the training area and we've had 5 new kids in four day's, one's Nico's brother, tlhe other's Thalia's brother and the rest haven't been claimed yet"

Travis looked shocked for a couple of seconds but then turned to me. "You're one of the new kids right? Sorry about Harris, I'm Travis Stoll one of the counsellor's, I share it with my brother Conner" Then quickly added "In fact I'd better go tell Conner, I'm not moving out yet"

Travis turned around to rush but before he did so, he turned around to Harris and growled "Oh yeah, Harris if I ever even here another rumour about you bullying some poor newbie, then I'll personally make sure you can have Percy or me as your next battle partner for a month" Then he smirked and rushed out.

One of the guy's who had blond hair about a year older than me came up to me, his friend followed him, I realised these were the two boy's that had not laughed at me, Harris seemed to have shut up for now but I knew someone like him would go back to his bully antics soon.

I decided to be friendly to them.

"Hi, I'm Harry" I said smiling politely at them.

The blond boy said "I'm Niall" With a irish accent.

The other boy said "My name's Liam, welcome to Camp Half Blood"
