“Wow!” was all I could say.


I wore a simple dress with a pair of sandals. It was much different to the first outfit I wore on our first date, but this time I didn’t let Brooke dress me up. I did it all by myself, and it was just me.


-OUTFIT-


The normal pre date things happened. Luke picked me up, drove me to a mysterious place where he couldn’t tell me where we were and now he has finally pulled of the blindfold.




“Do you like it?”



“Wow” I said again.



He had set up a romantic picnic just above, on a hill, with perfect view of the city. The sun was just setting as he led me down to the blanket where are dinner awaited us.



“T-this is amazing Luke, you did this just for me”



“Yep, it’s just for the two of us” he smiled and handed me a tomato sandwich



“Dig in”

“I think my stomach is about to explode” I laugh, as Luke and I cuddle under the dark, starry sky.



“I told you not to eat all the chocolate covered strawberries” he laughed also



We both sigh at the same time after recovery from our mini laugh fit.



“This is so beautiful Luke, thank you again”



“You’re beautiful” he says, ignoring the last part I said



We both laid on our backs, heads turned facing each other.



“I like you Alex”



“I like you too Lukey”



“No, i don’t mean i like as a friend, i mean that i like you more”



My heart starting swelling and butterflies appeared.



“I’m not that great with words so i wrote this” he stands up and grabs his guitar from the car, sits down next to me and starts to strum



“I wrote this when we fought and we weren’t together, it’s called ‘Never Be’”

Once he finishes the song i clap and pretend that i was an audience full of people.



His voice was absolute amazing. I remember hearing him sing a while back, or just quiet hums in the car. But just a quiet acoustic song in the dark night, was perfect.



“Alex, what I’m trying to say is...” there was a pause



“Will you be my girlfriend?”



My heart beating faster and I’m pretty sure could be heard out loud. My cheeks flushed pink but looked red in the dark sky.



I didn’t respond, i was just in shock



“Alex?”


I still said nothing



“Oh shit, i knew this was a bad idea.” He tugs at his blonde roots “look forget about it, you don’t have to, and just forget about the song and everything i’ll just drop you home now” he rambles on, but i stop him by taking his face in my hands and kissing him



“Is that a yes?” he grins as i pull away



“i – ah. I want to say yes, but there’s that promise i made to my mum” i sigh



“Look Alex, let’s be honest here. Your mum didn’t really know me before she forbid you to see me, and also you haven’t really been keeping the promise anyways”



“I know but-“ i start but he continues



“The promise was to stay away from me, right?”



I nod



“Well from what i’ve seen, you’ve been doing the exact opposite”



“I know but i feel if that i officially date you, then my mother will see from above and punish me. Oh and what will my dad say? He already blasting at me for inviting you to the funeral”


“Alex, i think it time i tell you something”



“What is it?”



“Your pretty much a good girl, right? And i totally dig that, but i think that you aren’t disobeying your parents as much as you think you are”



“What do you mean?”



“I think that you are just being you. Like you’ve always been like this but with your mum not being around you are finally being yourself”



“Go on” i say



“You’re just a good girl that hasn’t been caught”

I laugh at the silly, yet true, comment


“how do i know if i can trust you. You’ve hooked up with many girls before, what if you leave me for one of them” i say



“Alex, you have to believe in me. I am a different person now, I’ve changed for you and i promise you, i won’t ever go back to being lthe way i was when you first met me”



“Ok” i say



“Ok what?”



“I will be your girlfriend”


“Really?”



“Really”



“Oh i thought you would of said no or something cause like we haven’t known each other for a long time, we always fight and like i can be a total fuckup and-“



“Lukey?”



“Yes”



“Just shut up & kiss me”



“With pleasure”
