★ Chapter 11 ★
*Alex's POV*
“What was that?” i ask, after he pulls away for a breath, but he has already took my breath away
“About two weeks late” he smirks. And leans back in, but i stop him, with my hands on his chest.
“I have to go” i say and his face drops
“oh but-“
“i’ll see you around” i say, as he stands in shock and i walk off, before he can say anything else
Of course i chickened out, because 1, he just kissed another girl while on a date with me and he thinks a kiss will make it better. Well it kinda did, but still. And 2, i am still deciding on what i feel towards Luke, and just to be safe, i should stay away.
I don’t look back, and i don’t hear him chase after me. Is this really what i want?
I quickly glance back to find him, in shock and... sadness?
While looking at his sad and distraught face, i bump into something.. wait no, someone and fall on my butt. Classic me, much
“Oh shit, sorry alex”
I look up to find a concerned Ashton, helping me back at my feet.
“Oh sorry, it was my fault for not looking where i was going” i sigh. “So what are you doing here?” i ask, just causally making a conversation, trying to get my mind of Luke
“Oh, well a band plays nearby here, so i was just about to see their show” he tells me, “What about you?”
‘Oh you know, i went out for dinner and my date made out with our waitress, while i was in the bathroom, and then he apologizes by kissing me. The usual’ i say to myself.
C’mon alex, you can think of something better then that!
“Wait your date what?” Ashton asks eyes full blowed.
‘Shit did i say that out loud?’
“Yeah you did” he nods “but let me get this straight. You went on a date, and then your date made out with someone else while out with you?”
“Yep” i sigh
“Who was such an idiot to hurt you?” he asks
‘Oh you know, just your bestfriend’
“Calum?” he asks, shit when do i keep speaking out loud?
I nod no
“Michael?”
I nod no, again
“Luke?”
I nod, yes, very slowly
“Oh i umm didin’t know you guys were dating” he sighs, Scratching the back of his neck, why is he nervous?
“Oh no, were aren’t we just.. i don’t know” i feel like an idiot
“Sorry for umm asking i just thought, you know”
“No don’t be these things happen, right?” i sigh
“Well umm do you need a lift home?” he politely asks, revealing those dimples.
“Well yeah but, you are about to see a show so-“ i start
“Nah, don’t worry, i’d give up seeing a show, to drop home a pretty girl” he smiles
I instantly feel my cheeks flush, and he chuckles. Small drops of rain start to spit down
“well, we better start going”
As he drops me home, we make small talk, and i tell him about my life in America, and he listens intensely while focusing where he is driving.
*Ashton’s POV*
(A/N your time to shine buddy)
I stare at Alex as she watches the soft rain patter across the car window seal. God she is beautiful
I remember her smile, as she talked about her home town ‘Chicago’ and the image replays in my head, and i hope it stays.
I can’t believe Luke would do such a thing. To hurt a beautiful girl like Alex, he is an idiot.
Why did he even go out with her? He knows he just wants her for sex. He even told me and the guys that he wanted to be the first to bang an American.
And he kissed her? He doesn’t deserve to have her perfect lips around his, she is too damn good for him.
Wait , i think i am jealous? Of course not......... I know i am jealous.
And i know i am mad at Luke for messing around with her, she deserves more than him.
I actually like Alex for her, yeah i don’t know her much but, i do know that i have a crush on her.
Just because i have tattoos and piercings and yes, have hooked up with a lot of girls. Doesn’t mean i am like Luke and wants this girl for sex
I want her, for her.
*Luke’s POV*
“How can i believe you?” Alex says, looking at me
“I will prove it”
I lean down, and kiss her
My tongue feels rough against hers but the sensation and passion is incredible.
My fingers trace her cheek bone and her fingers thread through my hair.
“What was that?” she asks, as i pull away for a breath, but she has already taken my breath away
“About two weeks late” I smirk, and lean down again, for more. This time she refuses and pushes me back gently with her hands on my chest.
“I have to go” she says and i feel my stomach drop
“oh but-“
“i’ll see you around” she cuts me offs, and walks away before i can protest to why she is leaving?
I am left alone in a cold street. What about the rest of our date? I was going to take her to a movie and drop her back home.
I feel the need to chase after her and fight for what i need. But i am frozen in the dark street. I feel empty inside, as soon as she left
I finally grow some balls, and chase after her. I follow her footsteps and stop as i see her get into someone’s car. Who is she going home with?
This must not be her? I questioned, but get the answer when i recognise her black dress and heels with her long brown hair. Yep its her
As she gets in, and the car turns around i recognise the driver too.
Ashton...?
