Alayna’s POV:
“Goodbye, Harry.” I took a deep breath and tried to stop the tears that were falling from the corners of my eyes. “Goodbye.” I whispered and walked faster.

“Why does it hurt so much?” I sat down and cried harder. I’ve never felt like this. It felt like I died then I got revived then died a thousand more times. “Why?” I wiped my cheeks and noticed someone standing in front of me.

“Jade?” I looked harder and tried to put a face to a shadow. “Here.” She handed me a handkerchief and I appreciatively took it. “Thank you.” She sat down next to me and just looked at me for a while then looked down.

“Just cry it out. It’ll help.” I chuckled at what she said. “Obviously it’s not working for me.” I stood up and she did the same. “Alayna, wait.” I turned around to face her and she sat down again.

“I’m sorry.” I was taken aback by what she said. “What for?” I sat down beside her and noticed that her body language was different from her usual. “For your misery, for Harry’s.” She intertwined her fingers and hunched her back.

“Jade, it’s not your ---” She sat up straight and faced me. “It is. Alayna, you have to understand that Harry loves you…a lot.” She chuckled and held a hand up to stop me from talking. “I thought tonight might work but, obviously, it didn’t”

“Wait, what do you mean?” She cleared her throat and I sat up straight. “Nothing, it’s not important. Alayna, I have a question.” I nodded then she took a deep breath. “Can you forgive Harry?”

“Jade I ---” I stood up but she quickly grabbed my hand to stop me. “It’s not his fault. I knew the moment that I saw you that you’re the one for Harry. Alayna, he needs you. I was jealous of his love for you but I knew that I can’t compete with you, not now, not ever.” She wiped her cheeks and I felt more guilt eating me up.

“Alayna, please. They say that if you truly love someone, let them go. Alayna, I’m trying to let him go but I want him to be happy once I do that. And you’re the only one who can do that.” I sat up straight to face her and held both of her hands.

“You don’t have to let him go, Jade. Us, me and Harry, there nothing between us. You love him and I’m sure deep inside, he loves you too.” She sighed and I did the same.

“Alayna, what you don’t understand is I’ve lost Harry’s love long time ago. We’re not meant for each other and I have to accept that. You also have to understand that it’s not just Harry’s heart I’m trying to fix; I’m trying to help you too. Your heart only shouts one name and you know who that is.” She stood up and tapped my back.

“Wait, Jade! Where are you going?” She turned around and smiled. “I’m going to explore the world. Listen, don’t you and Harry ever break up without my permission! Goodbye, Alayna!”

Harry’s POV:
“Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!” I kicked the wall hoping that I’ll feel better but what it only did was bring me more pain. “Wh--wh--yyy?!” I pushed down anything that came close to me.

“WHY?!” I slid down and felt the tears pouring down from my eyes like waterfalls. My chest hurts, my head is aching, I feel like my arm and my legs are being chopped off of me piece by piece.

“You’re --- a --- foolish --- bastard!” I knocked my head repeatedly on the wall behind me. I rested my head between my knees and took a deep breath. “What now?!” I sat up straight then stood up.

I tried to make my way to my car but it seems like I had trouble walking. I felt drunk, drunk with all these feelings inside me. “You got me! Got me good!” I yelled at the sky, hoping it’ll answer back.

“Great, just great! Karma’s a bitch, huh?” The dark sky clapped and in seconds, rain started pouring in. I ran fast to my car but I still looked like a wet dog once I got in. I took a deep breath then started the engine.

“Damn it!” The rain poured harder and it was harder to see where I was going. “DAMN it!” With all this mess, my phone decided to ring. I tried to take phone out of my pocket.

“Almost there.” I got the half of the phone out but it got caught on something. I tried to pull it harder but it didn’t help me at all. “Thank you! Thank you!” I dropped both of my ringing phone and the thing it got caught up to.

“What is that?” I tried to look harder and saw the thing shine. I took a glance at the road and made sure no car was coming. I stretched my arm and tried to get both the thing and my ringing phone.

“Got it!” My phone stopped ringing and I tossed it to the other seat. I hunched my back and reached over to get the shiny thing. I got it with one stretch then I sat straight back up. I put both hands on the wheel and tried to concentrate on the road.

“Alayna.” I took a glance on the shiny thing and noticed that it was her bracelet. I smiled as all the memories flooded in. I closed my eyes and felt calmer. “Alayna.” I opened my eyes and saw a great white flash. “Alayna!”
