Liam's POV
I am speeding down the highway, about 10 minutes from my parents house. I am a wreck I have tears streaming down my face. I can't lose her again, I can't bear to lose the two most important girls in my life. I grab the little box from my pocket. I have been carrying it around for the past year waiting for the perfect moment. I just could never find the moment. I quickly throw it down on the seat next to me. I pick it up a couple seconds later and put it back into my pocket. I increase my speed as I take the exit that says Wolverhampton. I make it to my parent's house in record timing.
I throw the gear into park and rush out of my car and into my parent's house.
"Mum! Nici! She left. She left me again. I can't do this again. I need her back." I yell as soon as I walk through the door.
I see my mom walk into the foyer with her apron still on and a towel in her hands.
"Mum" I yell and rush to give her a hug.
"What is it sweetheart?" She asks obviously confused as to why I am here.
"Auri, she left the tour early because it was too much for her and Chasity and when I got home she wasn't there, nothing of theirs was there. She left me and no one has heard from her in a couple weeks. Do you know where she is?" I ask her hurriedly.
"Of course!" She says like it is the most obvious thing in the world.
"Where?!? Where is she? I need to go to her." I say grabbing my mother's shoulders to make her realize the importance of this.
"She is in the living room dear. She has been staying at her parents house for the past month. She said that she told you that she was going home." My mom just shook her head back and forth at my insanity.
I smile and run further into the house, bee-lining to the living room. I skid to a stop in front of the archway that leads to the living room. I see Chasity playing on the floor with Nici. I rush into the living room and pick Chasity up and spin her around. She giggles as I spin her.
"Hi sweetie! Daddy has missed you so much!" I say as I snuggle her.
"Da-Da!" She says as she grabs my face.
"Did you just say 'Da-Da'?" I ask with pride beaming in my eyes.
"She has been doing that for about 2 weeks." I look around the room to find Auri, my eyes lock with hers and my smile gets bigger than it was before. "She sees you everywhere, magazines, TV. She says it every time she sees your face." I set Chasity on the floor with Nici.
I walk over to Aurora and say, "Hi"
"Hi" She says back.
"Why didn't you tell me you were here?" I ask
"I told you that I was going home. This is home."
I kneeled down in front of her, while she was sitting on the couch. "I thought you were going back to my flat. I was so scared when I came home and there wasn't anyone there, and when everyone was saying that they haven't talked to you in weeks I though you left me again."
"Silly boy! I am not going to leave you! Your flat is not the best place to have a one year old adventuring around and with Rose being pregnant she can't help as much as she used to. And one of your fans somehow got my number so I deactivated it. I missed here too much anyways, I wanted to come home."
"I love you!" I say
"I love you too"
I lean in and give her a kiss. Then I hear someone clearing their throat.
"Excuse me, as much as I totally adore you two together, I would rather not see you two snogging in front of me." Nici says as she stands up while holding Chasity.
I stand up and grab Auri's hand to help her up.
"Where are we going?" She asks me.
"Out." I say not giving any clue on what I am planning.
We walk out of the living room and I yell "Auri and I are going out for a bit."
"Okay. Will you be back for dinner?" My mom calls from the kitchen.
"Yea." I say and pull Auri out of the door.
We walk hand in hand all the way to the park.
"If you knew we were going to the park why didn't you bring Chasity? She would love it here." Auri says to me.
"Because I wanted to be alone with you." I say as I smile to her. "And I wanted to feel a little nostalgic."
"Okay" Auri says as she eyes me suspiciously.
"Do you remember those countless hours we would spend on the swings?" I say as I drag her closer to the swing set and let go of her hand. "Or, when we would play tag on the jungle gym?" I turn and rush towards the jungle gym. "Or, when we would pretend that you were a princess trapped in the tower and I had to save you without waking the beast?" I point up to the tower on the jungle gym.
Aurora chuckles at my excitement and responds "Yes, I do."
"Do you want to know what my least favorite memory of this playground is?" I ask her.
"No, what?" She asks confused.
"The day I saw you come here with Toby…" I trail off.
"You were here?"
"Yea. I was sitting over there on the top of the slide, trying to remember all of the happy memories of us together. I was attempting to make myself less jealous. When I saw you two arrive I left quickly and rushed back to your house before you could see me." I admit.
"I had no idea."
"But, probably one of my favorite memories is the day that I crashed into you coming down the slide, because if that day hadn't of happened I would have missed out on the best moments of my life." I walk over to where Auri is standing. She has been standing still the whole time I was running around.
"That is my favorite memory too. Even if you got sand all over my hair." She smiles at me.
"I want you to be in all my favorite memories." I state.
"Okay, am I not already?" She asks oblivious to my hints.
"Yea you are in all my favorite memories but that's not the point." She scrunches up her eyebrows and nose and I can't help but fall deeper in love with her. So I smile at her distress. "Every one of these memories that I treasure so much add up to you." I kneel on one knee in front of her and she gasps. "I want all of my future memories to have you in them. Aurora Penelope Green, will you marry me?" I ask and pull out the little black box that I have had for the past year. I open it and grab the ring and wait for a response. "Are you going to say something?" I ask her when we were silent for about a minute.
"Huh? Oh, yes! Of course yes!" She says as I slip the ring onto her finger and she pulls my head up and kisses my lips hard.
We have to go back because we said that we would be home for dinner. I walk with my arm around Aurora. While walking I ask her, "Why didn't you tell me you weren't comfortable with my flat?"
"I don't know, you like it so I put up with it."
"Well I don't want you to feel like you don't belong. We will go house hunting when we get back to London."
"Somewhere outside the city with a garden?" She says with hope in her eyes.
"Anything for you!" I say as I kiss the side of her head.
We get back to my parent's house and go straight to the kitchen to find my family and Auri's parents in the kitchen talking.
"Hi guys!" I say to get their attention. "We have something to tell you…. We are getting married." I say and everyone bursts out in smiles.
"Oh let me see! Let me see!" Nici says as she bounces over to Auri and takes her hand which has the ring on it. "Oh My God! It is gorgeous! You finally get to be my sister!"
"Officially welcome to the family! Not like you weren't part of the family before!" My mom says to Aurora and her mom says something similar to me.
I grab Chasity from Auri's dad and for the first time I feel like we are an actual family.
