Aurora's POV
The rain hits my windshield as I drive on the London streets on my way home from work. Since I am pregnant I was assigned to a desk job. I get to sift through threats all day everyday. I can't wait to be in the field again. I called Rose to get me some sardines and chocolate ice cream. The salty and sweet combination would be like little fairies on my taste buds. I can't wait to have some. I pull to a stop in front of the condo and turn off the engine and grab my umbrella and purse and exit the car. I look and see pink ribbon on the front door. I know that everyone was coming over for a baby shower. I just wish I could go and fall asleep. I am exhausted I just want to eat my ice cream and sardines and lay on my bed and watch my TV shows.
I walk into the condo and hang my jacket and purse on the hook.
"Rose?" I call into the house.
"Auri! Auri! Auri!" I hear a high pitched voice echoing through the halls. I see Nici bouncing into the foyer.
"Nici!!! Oh my gosh! I missed you so much!" I give her a hug, at least I try to.
"Damn! You are so big. I really should have taught my brother about safe sex before he went off and got famous on me." She tells me as she rubs my belly. I resist fighting her because I figure it isn't everyday that she gets to see me pregnant.
"Ah, but if you did then I wouldn't have your perfect little niece in here now would I?" I say teasing her.
"That is very true! It's a good thing that you ended up pregnant and not Sophia, God! Could you imagine the type of mother she would be?"
I shiver involuntarily, "I can only imagine, that kid would get absolutely no attention because Sophia can't take any of the spot light away from herself." Nici laughs at me. "Did your Mom join you?" I ask her.
"Duh! She thinks that this will be her only shot at a grandchild, and honestly I think she might be right. I don't want to ruin this bod with kids" She says as she motions to her body.
I roll my eyes at her. Oh Nici, never changing.
I walk into the living room to see Liam's mom sitting on the couch next to my mom.
"Hey guys!" I say as my mom gets up.
"Hi Honey! How are you feeling?" She gives me a hug.
"I am fine Mum, I am kinda hungry though. Did Rose go to the store?" I ask
"I don't know"
"How is my favorite daughter-in-law?" Liam's Mum asks me as she gets up to hug me.
"I am fine Mum, but you do know that I am not even dating Liam and I don't think we are going to get married." I tell her.
"Well I can hope can't I? Besides since you're the mother of my first grandchild you will always be a daughter-in-law to me."
"You will always be my second Mum." I tell her as I give her a hug. "Now I am going to go see if Rose got me what I put on the list."
I head to the kitchen to see Niall and Rose putting food on plates.
"Rosie…" I whine "Did you get me chocolate ice cream and sardines, oh and I cant forget those delectable soybeans? I mean the texture of those little joy makers." I ask her.
"Yes she did! I know because I got yelled at when I wanted to eat the ice cream." Niall says as I rush to the freezer to get the ice cream then I grabbed a spoon and the tin of sardines and opened the can of soybeans and sprinkeled them onto the ice cream, then went back into the living room. I see that Zayn, Perrie, Eleanor, and Louis got here. All we are missing is Harry.
"Aurora, what are you eating it smells terrible" Louis asks me.
"Some chocolate ice cream, soybeans… and sardines."
"You have some messed up taste buds love." Louis continues.
"Hey I'm pregnant lay off!" I tell him.
"Eleanor, you better not crave ice cream and sardines together whenever you have kids" Louis says to Eleanor.
"Don't tell me what I can and can't crave! I can take away fun time if you want." Eleanor threatens.
"I'm sorry babe." Louis begs as he pinches Eleanor's cheek and she glares at him.
I sit down in between my mom and Liam's mom, and continue eating my ice cream. Harry finally gets here and I can barely see him because he is holding about twenty presents. Rose definitely went over board.
"Rose what did you do?" I ask Rose who now was standing in the living room.
"There was just so many cute baby things I couldn't resist." She tells me. "Can you open presents now. I have been waiting so long for you to open them!"
"Fine, but you are on present duty then." I tell her.
"Yay!" She says as she bounces up and down.
She hands me the first bag, from Niall. I open it to see a onesie that said "Future Directioner" on it and some socks and cute little sneakers.
I laugh then say "Ah Ni, thanks! She is getting set up for being the youngest One Direction fan at this rate."
The next present was from Zayn and Perrie, they got me a stroller and car seat set. Louis and Eleanor gave me a bean bag for babies and a crying analyzer. My mom made me crocheted blanket. When I saw the flowers I started tearing up, I quickly sniffed up my tears then thanked her. Nici gave a pink tutu dress and sparkly shoes to make her pop.
Liam's Mom gave me a small bag first. I look questioningly at her then opened it. It is a baby thing little elephant that is attached to a crocheted blanket, Boo Boo. I remember Liam used to bring it every where with him, except school. I remember I wanted to go to the little café down the street and I told him he couldn't come with me if he brought Boo Boo with. He quickly stopped bringing it with him where ever he went because he wanted to hang out with me. I start crying, and I can't stop I feel the tears streaming down my face at a fast pace. I start sobbing. Liam's mom starts rubbing my back. I cry even more.
"Honey, I'm sorry. I didn't mean for you to cry. Do you no want it?" She asks me.
"No, no, I…. I ….. Love it. It…. It…. Just hurts…. Sometimes." I sob.
"It's okay. I'm sure everything will work out eventually." Liam's mom tells me.
I don't think it will so I just stay quiet and sob some more. I finally calm down enough to open the presents from Harry and Rose. They gave me a lot of cute baby clothes and the last thing I open from them is a pink onesie with tulips embroidered on the front. Then the sobs return and there was no way that the crying is going to stop any time soon.
I stand up and say "I'm…. So happy…. That… that… you all…. Came…. I… I…. I …. I just need…… to excuse…. Myself" I run upstairs to my room and cry some more on my bed. I sit alone for about a half hour. I hear a knock on the door.
"Yes." I say.
Niall opens the door and looks at me "Your makeup is smeared all over your face, you look like a scary clown."
"Wow, thanks for making me feel better Ni."
"That's my job." He smiles then sits down next to me on my bed.
"What do you want Ni?" I ask him.
"I couldn't help but notice you were really upset."
"Yea wouldn't you be too if you were going to be raising a child without a father?" I ask him.
"You know you don't have to, you could tell Liam, or if you really want I will be there."
"No I can't do that. First because Liam would literally kill you when he found out, and second because the press would have a field day."
"Well at least I offered. But everyone else left. I thought I should tell you." Niall got up and went to the door.
"Okay, I am going to bed, I am exhausted. Good night Ni." I say as he leaves.
"Night Aurora." He says and shuts the door.
I grab a tissue and wipe my eyes. Then I crawl under my sheets and fall asleep.

Notes

So I am starting to write this new story. It is going to be a Niall fanfic about Niall making a dating pact with an American he meets one summer, but I won't post any chapters until I am done with this story... but I want to see how many people would want to read it. Oh and enjoy this chapter, I loved writing this because I spent hours on pinterest just looking up baby gifts, and I don't get to do that very often because I feel like I am getting old and yadda yadda yadda. But comment please! And until the next update.
