6 Months Later

Liam's POV
I am sitting in the studio with Harry and Niall when Sophia comes barging into the room like she owns the place.
"Liam" She whines. God she can be so annoying sometimes
"Yes dear." I ask with fake affection in my voice.
"I wanna go out and do something tonight" She pouts
"I am busy tonight. Maybe another night. I don't even know if I am going to be home until really late." I tell her. Really I am done around 4 today and I just want my space from her. Even though she always wants to do stuff… in the public eye I might add… she has been really distant and she no longer wants to be around when it is just the two of us she always wants an audience. I am totally fine with that, I want to break up with her but I just don't know how to do it. Sophia storms out of the room leaving only me Harry and Niall.
"Man I hate her!" Niall says in relief when she left.
"Me too! Why do you continue to date her?" Harry backs Niall up.
"Honestly I have no idea." I say
"Then break up with her!" Harry says.
"I can't… I don't know…. I started dating her to 'win the break up' with Aurora but then we just kept dating and dating and now I don't know how to tell her I never liked her and I wish she would just get out of my life."
"You never even liked her?" Niall asks.
"Nope… She is just there so it seems like I am doing okay."
"What are you doing with your life man? You need to break up with her already, it's like taking off a Band-Aid just do it." Harry encourages me.
"So what am I going to do just break up with her and not date until Aurora is ready to date me again?" Whoops I wasn't supposed to say the last part.
"You're waiting for Aurora to take you back?" Harry asks.
"Well yea, I mean I just know that it is all going to work out in some way or another and I want to be in a spot in my life where I can just drop everything and go to her. There is a reason I am still dating Sophia she is easy baggage to drop when the time is right." Harry and Niall just look at me shocked. Then Harry pulls out his phone and calls someone.
"Rose…. Our boat is on an island." I am really confused on what the hell he is saying.
"Gimme that you idiot" Niall says as he grabs the phone from Harry. "Rose, Niall here. Yea so he meant to say 'our ship is sailing'" I hear a screech coming from the phone and Niall had to pull it away from his ear.
"Ship right!" Harry mumbles to himself.
Niall says goodbye and hangs up the phone and gives it back to Harry.
"I'm beat I am going home." I say as I get up.
"I thought you said you were really busy all night" Harry says.
"I lied to her I don't want to be around her more than I have to." I start walking to the door when my phone rings, I look at caller ID….
Aurora's POV
We got a bomb threat call today, so because Luke and I are the newbies we are the ones to investigate every viable threat to make sure that it doesn't go through. Today the threat was to the Houses of Parliament so even if it didn't sound that threatening we would still have to check it out. We called for back up just in case on the way there. Then I called the security at the Houses of Parliament saying to evacuate the building because there was a threat. Luke and I are the only ones who enter the building because we are trained for this situation. I pulled out our bomb scanner and started in the most public places for the bomb. It turned out there was actually a bomb, it was in the men's bathroom in the last stall. Luke opted for himself to diffuse it while I stood by the sinks. I wasn't too worried about the bomb actually going off because I knew Luke could do it in his sleep, and when I saw the bomb I knew that it wasn't going to blow up the building but it could still cause harm, whoever made this was an amateur. Then the unexpected occurred the bomb went off. There was a flash and I see Luke trying to back away from it. Then I black out for about a minute or two when I open my eyes again I am against the sinks I think I banged my head because I feel blood pooling on my face. I look over and see that Luke is laying on the ground with a bathroom stall door on top of him.
"Luke!" I scream. I rush over and pull off the debris from on top of him. He is badly burned on his chest and he is covered in blood. I hear people rushing in the hallway and then people rushing into the bathroom. They look at me and Luke, I back away from him so the paramedics can take him to the hospital. I just sit there and wait. A paramedic comes over and looks at my head and starts cleaning up my wound. I start thinking of what to do now. I want to cry and go curl up in a ball. I am afraid for Luke. I don't want to go home though, either home actually because Rose would ask too many questions and my parents wouldn't ever let me leave the house again. I need somewhere to go, and somewhere close because I am pretty sure that I need a shower. The paramedic finishes cleaning my wound and tells me that I should go to the hospital to make sure I don't have a concussion. I decline the offer and get up. I just have to get out of here. I go to the car and grab my phone and I dial the only person I know that I feel safe and completely at ease with.
"Hello?" A husky voice answers the phone.
"Liam?" I sob.
"Auri, what's wrong are you alright?" He asks with genuine concern.
"Yea, I just need somewhere to go right now, is it possible for me to be able to come over?" I plead.
"Of course you are always welcome in my flat."
"Sophia isn't there right?" I don't want her to see me like this she would just make the situation worse.
"No, no, no I am not seeing her tonight." I sigh in relief.
"Thanks Liam, I will be over in about 15 minutes." I say and hang up the phone.
Before I start driving I check how I look in the mirror. My clothes are lightly singed and my face is covered in black residue with dried blood on my forehead and tear stains down my cheeks. My hair which was in a neat bun is now all over the place and has little bits of metal and debris in it. I look like a total mess. I arrive at Liam's house within 15 minutes like I predicted and I stealthy get up to his flat. I knock on the door and I see a smiling Liam open the door, then his face drops and crosses with worry.
"Auri, what happened to you?" He asks. And I just start crying and embrace him in a hug.
"I can't talk about it right now… I just needed you" I sob into his shirt, I am pretty sure that I am ruining it.
"It's okay… shhh… it's okay I'm here." He pets my hair down and continues whispering sweet nothings into my ear.

Notes

Well its official we are done with our first year of college....man this year has flown by. Good thing Eliza and I live 5 minutes away from each other back home. So look forward to more chapters.
