The Next Day
Rose’s POV
I woke up to a knocking at the door. Liam was sprawled all over Aurora, they were so cute. I think I see a drool spot on her shirt. I wish he could have loved me he is just so perfect! I look over to my Harry Styles cut out. Ugh, why did my mom buy me the wrong one, I wanted Liam so badly. There was another knock on the door, I get out of my bed and go to answer it. I was shocked to see Harry Styles and Niall Horan themselves standing on the other side of the door.
“Hello! Is this Aurora’s room love?” Harry asked. I freaked out and shut the door. I ran to shove the cut out into my closet and it wouldn’t go in all the way, damn I wish the closets were deeper. I ran to open the door again. I see Niall and Harry whispering to themselves.
“Yea sorry this is Aurora’s room. She is currently sleeping.” I say as I move away to let them in.
“Oh okay” Harry said as he walked into the room with Niall trailing not far behind him.
I heard Niall whisper to Harry, “Dude, your head is sticking out of the closet” Then I heard Niall chuckle. Well this morning was going to shit.
I had to think of a story quickly so they don’t know the cut out is mine. “It’s um…. Aurora’s cut out… um yea… and she wanted the Liam one, but her Mom got confused and got the Harry one…. she just wanted the Liam one” This story was mostly true besides the fact that it is Aurora’s.
“Ah, I’m sure her mom knew that she secretly loves me more than Liam, I mean I am more dashing that that lump” Harry said as he pointed at Liam. Niall just kept laughing, does he even talk.
“Oh, I should wake them up shouldn’t I?” I asked as I started walking over to Aurora’s bed.
“NO!!!” Niall and Harry said in unison.
“They are so peaceful and I haven’t seen Liam have a smile on his face in over a month” Harry said while dazing at them sleeping.
“Well it is time to wake them up anyways.” I said as I continued walking to the bed I started shoving Aurora.
“Wake up Sleeping Beauty! I have to go to the tennis match soon… you need to wake up… there are people here… and I need to get ready for the match…. You promised that you were going to watch today” I said as I continued nudging her.
“Rosie, stop shoving I’m up.” I saw Liam cuddle more into her, I didn’t know that was even possible.
“Okay but you promised that you would go to my match today remember?”
“Yes I remember I will go I promise.” Aurora said as she snuggled into Liam’s arms more. Awe! They make me want to smile.
“There are people here too remember!.... Oh and I put your Harry Styles cut out away in my closet… you know the one your mom mistakenly got you.” Aurora gave me a confused look.
“Auri, why do you have a Harry cut out?” I heard Liam mumble.
“HER MOM GOT HER THE WRONG ONE! SHE WANTED THE LIAM ONE BUT HER MOM WAS REALLY CONFUSED”
“Um yea… the cut out is mine sorry Liam, I just love Harry more too.” Aurora said joking to Liam, while she started getting out of bed.
“No you aren’t getting out of bed I’m too comfortable.” Liam mumbled so Aurora stopped moving.
“Aurora! Need I remind you again that there are people here and since you are going to the match what are you going to do with them?” I raised my eyebrows to signify that I wanted her to bring them with. I really want One Direction to watch me play.
“Hmmm? Guests?” She sleepily looked over to see Niall and Harry looking at them smiling cheekily, nodding and putting their thumbs up. I was so confused. Aurora jumped out of bed, Liam almost fell off the bed which woke him up.
“Harry! Niall!” She screeched and ran to hug both of them at the same time.
“Aurora! I have missed you! Oh and I see that you missed me so much you needed to buy a cut out of me! You could’ve just asked and I would have sent you a signed one.” Harry said jokingly.
“Oh but what would be the fun in that, Liam would’ve found out about our relationship” Aurora winked at Harry. I looked over and saw Liam get mildly pissed for a second then it vanished as he walked over to the group.
“Harry, she wanted me remember! Don’t worry I will personally get you a Liam one so you don’t have to look at Harry’s anymore” Liam said as he wrapped his arm around Aurora’s shoulder.
“Well I am going to change now, so um yea” I say as I slowly back into the bathroom.
Aurora's POV
I miss waking up to Liam sleeping next to me. It is like those sleepovers we had every weekend as kids. When we were around 11 my mum told me that I shouldn't have sleepovers anymore with Liam because we were getting too old for them but that didn't stop us he would just coincidentally fall asleep while watching a movie or hanging out in my room and my mum would just sigh and say that this was the last time it would happen. She gave up after about a year.
I remove Liam's arm from around my shoulder when Rose enters the bathroom to get changed I go and pull out the cut out from the closet because it was annoying me because 'Harry' doesn't fit in the closet well.
"We can just throw that away" Liam said as he grabbed the cut out from my hands and started walking to the window.
"Oh no you don't! Let her enjoy 'the Harry' for a while longer" Harry said as he grabbed the cut out.
"The Harry? What is he a dance move or a toy?" Liam asked.
"Yes he is my toy now give him back!" I say as I take the cut out from Harry.
"See she wants 'the Harry', she needs 'the Harry'. Right babe?" Harry said as he comes over and kisses the side of my head.
"Oh yea I get so lonely at night and you can only give me comfort." I say as I roll my eyes at Harry. Liam looks like he is going to strangle Harry, what is his problem we are only joking.
Rose bursts out of the bathroom and screeches, "Why did you take the cut out, out of the closet? It is a code red situation or haven't you noticed" Rose started flailing her arms around the room. Code red, oh right! We have a system whenever she says code red it means hide the cut outs because boys are coming over, code blue is you can leave them out but not in a obvious spot in the room, code green is flaunt the cut out because she wants to make someone uncomfortable or they understand her obsession.
"Oh shit! Code red! I forgot! I am so sorry! But they already saw the cut out sooooo I guess it doesn't count." I scramble to put the cut out back into the closet.
"You might as well keep it out because our code system has gone to shit!" Rose said as she grabbed her tennis bag and started heading to the door. "Don't forget to come the match starts in 2 hours" She leaves the room leaving Niall, Harry and Liam really confused on what the hell just happened.
"Code system?" Liam asked. While Niall asked "Code red?" and Harry just said "Cool they have a code system like spies!"
"It is a long story! I am going to go take a shower I have drool all over me because of somebody in this room…" I pointedly looked at Liam and started walking towards the bathroom.
"I will join you I think I smell a little bit" I turn and see Harry lift up his arm and smell his armpit. I couldn’t help but giggle a little bit.
"Oh no you won't! You don't smell any worse than usual so you can deal. We will wait out here for you while you take a shower." Liam said as he pulled a pouting Harry to sit on my bed as Niall starts laughing uncontrollably.
Niall said" Harry man! You sir just got cock blocked!"
Ugh boys will be boys. I quickly take a shower and realize that I forgot my clothes in the room so I wrap myself in a towel and go out to see the boys stop what they are doing and start staring at me.
Harry's mouth was hanging open and his eyes bugged out and started mumbling random tidbits. Liam had to take a second glance at me because he didn't realize that I was just in a towel at first. Niall's eyes wandered up and down as he started nodding then realization came across his face and he screamed "Cover your eyes!" They all covered them but I could see Liam peeking through his hands, just like he did whenever we played hide and seek when we were little.
I rolled my eyes and said "Chill guys! I just forgot my clothes in here I will be quick I promise and you don't have to avert your eyes for your safety."
"We aren't averting eyes for ourselves we are averting them on behalf of your safety" Liam said, always such a gentleman.
I quickly grab my clothes and hurry into the bathroom and shout that they can uncover their eyes because the crisis has averted. I grabbed a short flowy blue sundress that comes up about mid thigh and the back drops down right below my lower back and has plunging neckline that compliments my boobs very well. I thought I was getting over Liam but seeing him here and being like we used to be I plunged right back into being utterly and hopelessly in love with him. I wanted him to look at me how I look at him, and boob dresses are the way to go. I blow dried my hair so it took it's natural wave down to the middle of my back. I do my normal make up which consists of mascara, eyeliner, a light eye shadow and a shimmery pink lip gloss. I walk out of the bathroom and avoid the eye contact of the boys as I walk to my closet to grab a pair of sandals.
"We need to tie Harry up! Otherwise 'the Harry' is going to come to life." Niall said as I approached my closet. I started laughing because Niall is just so damn witty!
"Please do I don't think I can have self control around you Aurora! I don't think 'the Harry' wants Liam to cut off his head" Harry said as he started to scoot further behind Liam.
"You don't need to worry about Liam, Harry. He doesn't own me I can do whatever I want" I walk over to Harry and run my finger along his jaw and started down his chest when a really high pitch squeak came out of Harry. I started chuckling and turned to a very red faced Liam with his hand fisted in balls.
"Oh lighten up! You can get your turn too." I sauntered over to Liam and pushed him on the bed so he is sitting. I sat on his lap. I kissed his far cheek and trailed my lips so they lightly brushed his. I looked at his eyes and saw that he was shell shocked and he was pleading all at the same time. I slowly move my lips to his ear and whisper in my most seductive voice, "Just kidding" I got off his lap and started to put on my shoes. I look at Liam who looks like a statue staring off into space.
"Is it my turn now?" Niall asks like a 5 year old.
"Oh come here." I say waving Niall over. I walks over and puckers his lips. I grab his head and turn it to his cheek and give him a nice big kiss so the lip gloss sticks to his cheek.
"I…. Uh…. Um…. Need to freshen up before we go." Liam says suddenly and rushed to the bathroom. I hear the shower run.
Harry walks over to me and whispers in my ear "you do know why he has to freshen up don't you? You are just too sexy for him to handle" Harry walks away from me to go by Niall. Harry was just kidding wasn't he, there is no way that Liam likes me. He just needs to get ready to go to the tennis match. I think this dress is working though, maybe just a little too well.
Liam comes out of the bathroom with fresh clothes and wet hair. We leave to go see Rose play, with the guys in their disguises. It would be terrible if people found out that they were here. As we walk to the courts I get a shit ton of stares from the guys who pass me. Liam notices them too and wraps his arm around my waist. I think he just can't handle that I actually grew up, he still pictures me as his 5 year old best friend when gender didn't matter. He whispered in my ear "Do you always wear stuff like that?"
I look at him with a questioning look.
"I just don’t want some guy to think that you are that girl."
"What if I am that girl? It has been a long time since we have actually talked Liam."
"It hasn't been THAT long." Liam stopped walking which made me stop because he had his arm still around my waist. He looked at me in my eyes "I am serious Auri! I don't want someone to take advantage of the most important person in my life."
"I am not 5 years old anymore" I start walking to catch up to Niall and Harry who were oblivious to me and Liam stopping.
Liam caught up to me and said "You definitely aren't 5 anymore! Anyone can see that in that outfit I don't know how the guys have the self control only to stare." Liam continued walking ahead of me so I couldn't respond.
