Tessa's POV

The shadowy figure darts behind a tree. I follow it, wanting to see what it is.

"Come out," I say softly. The leaves rustles, and a twig snaps in front of me.

"I cannot," I hear a voice whisper. It's a male voice

"You don't have to be afraid, not of me," I say basically to the tree.

"I am not afraid," the voice says a bit more confidently.

"Then come out," I say, trying to reason with the boy behind the tree.

"Them you will be afraid." I try to peek at the figure, but it is very dark outside, and I cannot.

"Please, I want to see who is behind the tree," I say, begging of the boy. I hear a deep sigh, and an illuminated figure steps out of the shadows.

He takes his hood off, revealing his blonde hair and pale skin. His skin is paler than mine! His eyes are a crystal blue, with a hint of.... Red, in them?

"Who are you, and why are you at my birthday party. This is private property," I state to the boy, who looks slightly older than I. He's cute, too.

"If I told you you would not believe me, Tessa," he says. I'm starting to get startled

"How do you know who I am," I ask the boy confidently.

"Come back here tomorrow, same time, same place, and I will explain it all to you," he says and, just as quick as he came, he left.

I look around, surpringly not finding him.

Niall's POV

I watched her as she looked around. She finally shrugged, as if it was only a daydream, and went back to her party.

I could hear her conversations, well, most of them. There were many, many conversations going about that night. I watched Tessa as she went over to four boys, saying hello.

"Hey Lou, Leeyum, Hazzabear, and VainyZainy. You like the party," she asked. The boys all agreed that the party was great.

"Hey, Tess, it's time for presents," one of the people shouted into a microphone on stage.

She grabbed the curly one's hand and dragged him up onto the stage. She sat right down on the white plush couch.

"As princess of tonight, I order you to get me all my gifts," she state to Curly. He laughed, along with the other zillion people at the party.

I decided to get a better view, so, I silently climbed back down the tree, making my way to a free quite close to Tessa and Curly.

The boy, with brown locks of brown hair as good a curly fries--mmm...-- gave her a bug gift first. She read the card, her eyes furrowed as she read, her mouth moving with every word.

She opened the box, seeing the white and neon lime green teddy bear. She gasped.

"Thank you so much Leeyum!" She hugged the bear as tight I though possibly possible for a half-vampire half-human.

The next one was a pandora charm bracelet, with one, small charm, a small heart with a purple little bead in the middle. I smiled at the gesture. I wonder if she ha a boyfriend. Was it that Curly boy?

"Thanks VainyZaynie!" The crowd laughed at his nickname, making him go crimson red.

"Last one," said the curly haired boy, who I had recently found that his name was Harry....

His name suited him. (A/n: excuse me as I die from laughter.)

"From, Anonymous," she read aloud. I smiled.

She pulled out the small box.

She opened it and lifted the necklace up.

It was her father's family crest, although it looked more like a gem stone. She smiled, as though she remembered seeing it from somewhere.

She put it back and looked up at the crowd.

"We'll, thanks for coming, y'all have a good night now," she said and wave at the departing crowd.

She went up to Harry (a/n: again, LOL)

and gave him a kiss on the cheek. They both blushed like mad, and Harry said goodbye.

Tessa sat back on the white couch. I heard her sigh, and take back out her father's crest. She studied it for a while before gathering her things and leaving.
