Niall's POV
School has been out of about a week and we were currently at the park waiting for Lilly and Clary to get here. They have been running and training for the past month. It was insane. Clary was either training or I was usually rehearsing but she came to that. Everyone was here because we were going over the plan for our audition. Who was driving who. I already knew that my mom would gladly take Clary. So that was a for sure. I knew she was going to come. Man if we made it through it was going to be tough being away from her. But hey its not a for sure. I see Lilly and Clary running over. Is it bad that I'm turned on by a sweaty Clary? I don't think so. "Hey guys! What's up...why are we all sitting on the grass?" Harry smiles at her. They never really got together because well they just didn't mesh well or something. I don't really remember the reason but at least they were still friends. I get up and kiss Clary. "Hey none of that! We have serious stuff to talk about!" Ellie rips up some grass and throws it at us. Clary just laughs and sits down. Lilly is whispering something in her ear. She laughs again. What the hell are they talking about?! Ever since the signing they have been attached at the hip. Clary's room is pretty much almost packed and she doesn't even leave for another 3 months! "Guys! Focus we are here to talk about stuff not giggle and make jokes." Liam shoots a glare and Lilly and Clary. They shut up and Clary moves closer to me. She puts her head on my shoulder and I wrap my arms around her waist. "Okay so our audition is on June 5th. Now Lilly Harry said that his parents could drive you. And Clary I assume your riding with Niall's parents." I just nod while Clary's head snaps up and Lilly is looking at the ground. Liam keeps on going though. "Okay and then after the audition we are going to meet up at--"
"Liam I am going to stop you right there." I look at Lilly. What why? "Alright what's your deal Lilly? You can take a break for one day and watch us perform."
"Its not about that! I won't be in the country and neither will Clary. We leave at the end of May for training and team assignments. I told Harry that!" I look at Clary who looks like she is about to vomit. What?! She's leaving in 2 weeks? This can't be happening. No. I thought we still had to whole summer left. "Clary...is that true?" She just nods her head. She can't even look at me and respond. Lilly looks a bit aggravated. "What do you mean you're not going to be here?! I thought this was always the plan!" Ellie looked at the girls. "Well plans change Ellie. Look guys we are really sorry that we can't make it but we have to go." Lilly and Clary get up and leave. I am just sitting there stunned. All I can do is watch her walk away. "Did you know about this Niall?" I look at Louis and just shake my head. "I need to go talk to my girlfriend. I'll see you guys tomorrow for practice." I get up and head back to her house.

Clary's POV
Lilly and I got back and she drove home. I felt like I was going to be sick. I could've sworn I told Niall I was leaving at the end of May. I guess I didn't. I hope he isn't mad. I don't want him to be mad at me. Not right before I leave. I was drawing the NYC skyline to hang in the room when I heard a knock on the glass door. I look up to see Niall standing there. I take a deep breath and let him in. "Hey..."
"Why didn't you tell me?!"
"I thought I did Ni...honestly!"
"So were you just planning on leaving and then I would find out after you already were settled down in New York?! I can't believe that you didn't tell me!"
"I thought I did!! I swear I thought I did!"
"So you are really going and not coming to my audition?! This is my dream Clary!"
"Yea well this is mine! I have been dreaming about playing football for a college since I started! I have to go! If I don't I get benched. Is that what you want? Just so I see you play? That doesn't seem fair!" We were both yelling I could tell he was pissed. I was angry at him. Its not my fault. Its was mandatory for incoming girls. "They wouldn't bench you! Just say you will go that weekend after my audition! This has been my dream! I went to your signing and you can't even go to my fucking audition?! That's not fair at all Clary."
"Don't even pull that card! You barely even made it to my signing! God I am not going to get benched to watch my boyfriend sing one song in front of people! I am going to New York in two weeks whether you like it or not! You know what! I'm done. We are done. I can't be with you if I know that you are going to resent me for not going to your stupid audition!"
"Oh so now my dreams are stupid?! Go ahead baby tell me how you really feel! God you can so fucking headstrong!"
"That's it! GET OUT OF MY HOUSE I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN! WE ARE DONE!"
"Wait what?! You're breaking up with me?" Is he fucking deaf? Yea I am. I can't do this anymore. He has been acting distant anyways. So I might as well call it quits. "Did I stutter Horan?! GET OUT NOW!" He looked like I just shot him or something. His mouth was open and he was just staring at me. "Clary...I don't want to break up...baby--"
"Get. Out." He tried to touch me but I stepped back. He just looked at me then ran out. I crumpled to the floor and called up Nicole. "Hey...oh shit what's wrong?"
"Niall and I just broke up..." I could barely even say those words in between my sobs. Now that I am no longer angry I can't believe I just did that. But maybe it is for the best. "Shit! I am calling Lilly and telling her to go over ASAP. God Clary I am so sorry! I wish I was there. But hey two weeks and you get a new start right?" I just nod. Nicole stays on the phone with me until Lilly gets there then we say goodbye. Lilly runs over and hugs me. "Clary! God I am so sorry! Come on time to watch some RomComs. And eat pints of ice cream." And that's exactly what we did. Lilly ended up staying the night. I cried my self to sleep...while she told me everything was going to work out.
