Love/Hate

Hayden's P.O.V.

We got home and I went straight to my room. Mom and Dad went to drop the twins off school, then go to work. I closed the door and walked over to the bed. I sat down and looked out the window. I heard a car stop, so got up and went over to the window to see who it was. I saw Liam and Spencer get out of the car. I rushed out my room and went downstairs. I went to door and opened it revealing them. "Hey."

Liam looked at me and smiled, "Hey. How you holding up?"

"Good. Come on in." They walked in and I closed the door. "Thanks for coming."

"No problem, but why didn't you want the others?" Spence asked walking into the living room and sitting on the couch. I looked at Liam and he was waiting for a response as well.

"I don't know, maybe, I just didn't want them to see me like this. Also, I knew you both would handle it better than they would." I looked at Liam and he looked at me intensively. "What?"

"What's the real reason you don't want them to know."

"I don't want them to tell Harry that I'm out of the hospital. I can't face him right now and I'm scared they would." I looked at him and a tear rolled down my face. He walked over to me and wiped the tears from my face.

"They wouldn't tell him, if you told them what you just told me." I nodded and he gave me a hug. What they did though?..but if Liam says they won't, then I should believe him. I pulled away and he looked at me, "Let's go to my place and hang out."

"Ok." Spencer got off the couch and walked over to me. She gave me a hug and we left. Why do I have to be ashamed? If they're my friends they should understand.

Harry's P.O.V.

After Liam and Spencer, I left because I just can't handle being around anyone today, even tomorrow because it's the day of the dance (*Prom* if you want to call it that). I don't even have a date, but I don't care about that. I just care about Hayden being there, but I know she doesn't want to see me right now. I went to a diner and sat down when I spotted Kaitlyn, Luke and his friends. Luke saw me and waved, "Harry?!"

I got up and walked over to them, "What?" His smile disappeared and he got up. He got in my face and smiled at me. I could smell his breath and it was horrible. "Do me a favour and back up because your breathe isn't so pleasant."

He laughed and backed up, still looking at me, and smiled. "You know it's funny how you attacked me at the hospital."

I looked at him confused and frowned, "You were the reason why she's in the fucking hospital." I turned began walking away when he stopped me.

"It was funny how I watched her as she tumbled over that car to the ground." I turned around and looked at him. He smiled at me and continued. "But it's more funny how she picked me over you."

I began making my way over to him when his blonde friend got in the way, "You know it's funny because if he wasn't here I would've kicked your ass. Just remember this...if you come never Hayden again, you'll be the one in the fucking hospital." I walked away and left the diner. Who the fuck does he think he is?! Talk about my girl...ex girlfriend lime that.

"Harry?!" I turned around and saw one of the blonde girls running up to me. I stopped and she tried to catch her breathe. She looked at me with a straight face and spoke, "I'm sorry for Lucas. He can be a real dick sometimes."

"It's cool." She turned around and began walking away when I stopped her, "Hey. What's your name?"

She turned and smiled at me, "Destinee. Why?"

"Well, Destinee. Would you like to go to this dance with me tomorrow?" She looked at me and I was shaking nervously because I don't want to go to the dance alone by myself. She walked over to me and wrote something on my hand.

"There's my phone number and address. See you at 6 tomorrow." She walked away and I looked at her shocked. She doesn't know me but she agreed to be my date. I walked over to my sister's car and got in because my motorcycle is being fixed. I put the keys in the ignition and drove off. I guess I got to home and lay out my outfit for tomorrow.

Niall's P.O.V.

Harry, Spencer and Liam left, so it was just me, Lou, Zayn, Ash and Emily. They were talking about the dance tomorrow night when my phone went off. It was a message from my mom asking me to come home. I put my phone away and Lou looked at me, "What's up?"

"I need to go." He nodded and I got up. I grabbed my things and walked out the cafeteria. I walked out the main entrance of the school and made my way over to my car.

I got to my car and climbed in. I threw my stuff in the backseat and put the keys in the ignition. I started the car and pulled out the parking lot. I drove off and headed home.

*Skip Car Ride*

I got home and I heard yelling... again. I got out the car and made my to the door when I heard screaming. I took my keys out and opened the door. I walked in to see a glass fly out the kitchen and hit the wall. I walked to the kitchen to see my dad hitting my mom. "What the fuck?!"

I dropped my stuff and ran over to them. I pulled Dad off her and punched him in the face. I kicked him in the balls and he fell to the ground. He got up and was struggling to walk. "And....that's...fry...I had an affair." I pushed him out the kitchen and he left.

"Don't come back until you are straight in the mind!!" I turned around and helped mom off the floor. She cried into my chest, and I tried to calm myself and her. I can't believe my dad is hitting my mom. I pulled away and looked at her, "Why was he hitting you?"

"He came in drunk and started yelling at me. I tried to contain him, but he got more angrier. I told him to leave the house and he began hitting me. I tried to defending myself, but he's too strong. That's when you came in. Thank you, Niall, for coming in when you did." She broke back in tears again and I felt some roll down my face. He better not come back or else I will whoop his punk ass.
