Ch 3
Hannah’s POV
“Chyea! He’s from ----“
“And that concludes our Safety Instructions and Regulations! Meet our team and our captain out on the Lido, Deck 10, for the goodbye party in 10 minutes!” The loud speaker said.
“Ok, well, if the boat sinks I’m blaming you.” Austin giggled at me.
“Haha, whatever!” I smiled.
“You guys goin?” Chord looked over at us.
“Are you?” Austin knudged me.
“Yeah, I think I might.”
“Yeah, probably!” Austin spoke back.
Why did it matter if I went? Those were his friends.
“What deck is your suite?” he asked.
“11th.”
“Would you like me to walk you back?
“Uh, sure.” I smiled, being polite, even though I didn’t want any of the boys getting the impression that him and I had a thing.
“I’ll catch you guys soon.” Austin said to them all. He stood up and reached for my hand again. I took it, not wanting to embarrass him. It was still only the first day, let alone the first half-hour.
I heard cat calls and hoots from the guys as we walked out of the room in the crowd.
“So, how old are you?” he couldn’t help but ask.
“I’m 17. You?”
“I’m 18.” He looked happier as my answer came out.
“Oh, sweet.” I smiled and kept walking.
It was getting awkward so I walked a little faster. When we got to the door of my room, he kind of just stood there like he was waiting for something.
“Well, this is it so…” I began putting the key in. “I’ll see you in a few!”
“Alright.” He half smiled.
“Thanks for walking me!” I smiled back and stepped into the room.
“Welcome.” He started to walk back. I shut the door. I could have sworn I heard. “I like your bikini.” and a chuckle.
Oh gosh, I had been wearing it the entire time. I decided I was going to at least put some shorts on then and look like I had some decency. I fixed my hair and then touched up my makeup before heading out to the lido. As I walked out of the door, I saw him. It was Niall. He was walking down the hall toward the elevator. There was a loud sound from the door and he turned around. I giggled awkwardly, obviously he knew I had been watching him.
He turned back around and headed around the corner. Oh shit. What do I do now? I started to walk towards the elevators. I found myself picking up speed until I was jogging. Hannah, what the hell are you doing? I thought to myself. I turned the corner and there he was again. Getting onto the elevator.
I’m just gonna go for it. I thought to myself and then said “Wait!” As the elevator started to close with him in it. He pushed the button but the door wouldn’t stop so he put his hand in the way, almost smashing it!
“That was close.” He chuckled.
I giggled back. “Thank you.”
Holy shit. I’m in an elevator with Niall fucking Horan.
