Ch 2
Hannah’s POV
An incredibly loud beeping noise came over the speaker right as I finished my makeup.
“THIS IS A DRILL. THIS IS A DRILL. MEET AT YOUR SAFETY CABINS.”
I left my room and walked to my safety cabin. All alone.
“This way ma’am!” An employee instructed me and sat me next to a group of boys. Lucky for me, they were hot. Ha!
As the loud beeping stopped, everyone was talking. Even the boys next to me were chatting it up, and I’m pretty sure none of them knew each other from the variety of accents I heard.
“I’m from ‘Stralia! You?”
It took me a while to figure out that he was talking to me. I turned to him and saw a bright smile. He was definitely cute, and his accent was so adorable!
“I’m from here. Uh, Miami.” I smiled back.
“Name?”
“I’m Hannah.”
He reached out his hand. “Nice to meet you, Hannah. I’m Austin.” We shook.
“Nice to meet you too.” I still smiled. Awk. Haha.
A loud voice interrupted us but when it kept talking and talking, Austin turned to me and whispered. “Are you excited?”
“Definitely. Been waiting for this for a long time!”
“Same here! Almost a year.”
“Yeah! Me too. Felt like it would never come, but now I’m finally here!” I giggled.
“You come with friends, or family, or..” he asked.
“Family.. sadly.”
“Oh, same here.” He smiled. “But I do have friends on the boat already.” He bumped the guy next to him. “This is Tom. He’s from Australia too.”
Tom flashed a smile, he was hot too. J “Then, that’s Steven. He’s from here, Texas, I think he said it was. And that’s Chord, he’s from Spain. And Tyler, he’s from Seattle!”
By then, all of the boys had heard their names and waved at me. Couldn’t wait for the party tonight, they were ALL hot.
“You forgot one, mate!” Tom pointed to the very last seat.
“That’s ----“
“Niall.” I gasped.
“Yeah, you know him?” Austin asked.
