Once I am used to the light, I open my eyes fully, looking up I see everyone's smiling faces.
But there is one smiling face I don't see...
"Where's Niall?"

"I'm right next to you silly!" I hear him laugh, looking to my right there he is.
"Don't make fun of me, I just got out of a freaking coma" I chuckle.
"Yeah, well it's more fun to tease you". He tears up and kisses my forehead.
"Hush now and actually kiss me" I move my head forward and give him a much needed kiss.
:Excuse me, while you two are smooching, your children are waiting to see their mother" Louis brings them forward.
"My babies" I open my arms while Nate and Jess run into my arms.
"We missed you mumma" Jess buries her head in my neck.
"I missed you to darlings" I kiss them both on the head.
"I braided your hair while you were sleeping mummy, it looks beautiful!" Jess marvels.
"Thank you sweety". I say with a huge smile on my face.

Niall's P.O.V
It has been two days sice we came home, Lani is surprisingly smiling and happy.
How can she smile?
If that happened to me......
I wouldn't smile ever again.
"Niall are you okay?" Here goes...
"I am, but are you Allana?" I ask and she sighs.
"Yes of course I am, don't worry about me Niall, I really am okay". She rubs my back.
"How can you!?", I look away frustrated, then I calm down again "How can you be okay with it?"
"I just am Niall".
I don't get it.
"To be honest, yeah it was hard, but I have been so used to it that I get over it quicker than most".
"Yeah well you shouldn't, no one should have to go through that, even if it is once"> I shake my head in disgust.
I walk out the lounge room and into the kitchen where the children are eating lunch.
"Are you okay daddy?" Little Jess asks me while nibbling on her 3rd sandwich.
"Yes baby, daddy is just tired" I smile at her and go kiss her forehead.
"That means you should go to sleep dad". Nate tells me.
"Nate. I am talking to daddy!" Jess pouts at her brother.
I chuckle and walk over to the fridge listening in on the quarrel.
When Nate and Jess fight, it is absolutely adorable, and hilarious! They are too cute.
I grab a juice box and walk back into the lounge room.
"You can't stop your appetite can you?" Lani laughs walking up to me and wrapping her arms around my neck.
"Nothing can stop it my love!" I say putting down my juice box.
"That reminds me, speaking of love, the wedding is in four months, so exciting!" She giggles.
"Yup, and Jess will be the cutest flower girl" I say in a baby voice pinching Lani's cheek.
"Gosh, if you do that to your grandchildren, our kids will never let you near them".
"Okay, we have about 16 to 18 years before we start thinking about grandchildren!"I shout laughing.
"Hey, I think I'll make a flippin' sweet grandma!".

"I'm telling you Harry, if you keep being like this, you will be single for the rest of your life!" i punch Harry in the arm.
"Not my fault I'm too lazy to go out any more, gosh!" He laughs.
"Unlce Harry, can you give me a piggyback?" Jess tugs at Harry's pants.
"Uncle Harry is dead" Harry sighs lifting Jess up onto his shoulders.
"Glad some one is having fun!" I whisper into Lani's ear.
"You'll have your fun later" She whispers back.

Lani's P.O.V
"They don't know what we do best!" Jess shouts.
"Glad she doesn't know what that means" I giggle to myself as I sit next to the pool watching Jess sing with Niall.

Two days past eighteen
He was waiting for the bus in his army green
Sat down in a booth in a cafe there
Gave his order to a girl with a bow in her hair
He's a little shy so she gives him a smile

She said I'm off in an hour and I know where we can go
So they went down and they sat on the pier

I got no one to send a letter to

So the letters came from an army camp
In California then Vietnam
And he told her of his heart
It might be love and all of the things he was so scared of
He said when it's getting kinda rough over here

Was a piccolo player in the marching band

"Beautiful singing mummy!" Nate tells me clapping his hands.
"Thank you baby, you are good too" I smile and give him a big cuddle.
"I think you're better than me......" Niall fake cries.
"Pfft that's nonsense". I shake my head.
"I want, I want, I want, to be loved by you!" Nate sings.
Holy shit...
"Nate can sing!" I gasp.
My son can actually sing!
"Ohh and all the girls say!" Jess starts singing too.
SHIIIEET!
"My children can sing!" I squeal.
Then Jess and Nate start singing together.
"They sound beautiful together...." I let a tear escape my eye.
"Yeah, they can be the new Sharpay and Ryan" Niall says. By the tone of his voice, I could tell he was serious.
"They should sing forever young together!" I gasp.
"Darling, they are a bit too young for that", Niall negotiates.
I glare at him and smirk.
"Niall record it!" He nods and gets out his phone.
"Darlings, can you sing forever young for mummy and daddy?" I ask them.
They talk for a minute and start singing the chorus together, not seriously, but in a silly kind of way.
They don't sound.. You know, like Harry or Zayn, not adult like voices.
Their voices are angelic, full of innocence and pure grace. The sound of children's voices just calms you down.
When a child sings, it's like angels are singing with them.
"Niall, did you get that?" I whisper mesmerized.
He nods eyes wide open staring at the children.
"Oh baby, they sound beautiful". Niall tells me.
"Did you like it mummy?" Nate asks.
I nod with tears in my eyes, not able to speak.
"I-it was absolutely amazing".
"call Louis..." I tell Niall. He nods.
"Lou you and El better get over here" He tells them.
"Why Nia-" "Just get over here!"

"Okay what's the fuss about?" Louis and El walk through the door and sit in the lounge room with Nate and Jess.
"Jess, Nate, can you show Aunty El and Uncle Lou what you showed mummy and daddy?" I ask.
They start singing Forever young again.
"Oh my gosh..." El whispers with her hand over her mouth obviously shocked.
Louis had the same look.
"That's incredible" Louis tells me.
I nod crying.
"Those are my beautiful children".
