”Hey guys!” Niall said happily as he yanked Louis’ jacket.

”Hey mate” I said as I looked at him and Annabelle who kind of hit behind Niall.

”Hey Niall boy what’s up?” Louis answered.

I was nervous because I didnt know if Annabelle would answer me if I talked to her.

”Hello guys” she said with a low voice.

”Oh I didnt see you who’s talking?” Lou said with sarcasm. I kicked his foot under the table while I gave him a look that pretty much showed that he should shut up.

I smiled slightly and answered ” Hi”. I’m sure my voice shook but I was so insecure about this and it felt weird talking to her.

”What have you been up to guys?” Niall asked still standing behind Louis. ” Not much we were at the gym” I answered.

”And now you’re here? That makes a lot of sense” Niall joked as Annabelle giggled. I dont even remember when the last time was I had seen her smile but to be honest it made me happy and warmed me from inside. I deep inside knew I shouldn’t forgive her that easily because she really had pissed me off and hurt me like no one girl has ever done.

”Well.. You know me ” I answered and sent a cheeky smile.

”What’s so funny ?” I hesitated asking but did it anyway.

”Oh.. N..Nothing it’s just… Typical you” Annabelle mumbled.

”You know everything about that” Lou whispered and I once again kicked his foot and stopped a burger into his mouth . ”Shut up man”

”Yeah I guess so. What have you been doing ?”
She looked insecure like she didnt know if she or Niall should answer, I saw her lips forming like she was about to answer but Niall spoke up ” We’ve been writing lyrics to Annabelles song. She has to perform tomorrow”

”Wow really? Nice what’s the song about?”

”Love” he replied shortly. Great I felt the awkwardness between us, why did I even ask.

”But anyway my burgers are getting cold see you tomorrow guys” Niall said and they went to their table.

”Why are you blushing mr. Styles?” Louis smirked.

”Stop it i’m not blushing, it’s ketchup”.. What a lie not even a 3 year-old would believe me.


Annabelle P.O.V
Wow I can’t believe Niall made me talk to Harry again I don’t know if I should regret this or if I should take it as a small step towards a fresh start. I literally shook and was all sweaty. Gosh what was wrong with me.

”Niall why did you make me do that!”

”Do what? Get you to talk to him? Because you can’t live without each other” he smirked as he took a bite of his burger..

”Oohhhhh I can’t believe I did it. I can’t even eat now I’m so buzzin’, nervous, happy but confused at the same time!” I admitted.

”HA. You don’t have to be confused, the man loves you can’t you see that?”

”No? How can you see that?”

”The way he looks at you. Did you see he blushed?”

”OMG did you notice that too? I thought it was my imagination. He totally blushed right? I mean.. Right Niall?” I said taking a sip of my coke.

”Haha see, now you get why I made you speak to him. You’re totally happy, look at your smile” he laughed.

”You’re literally a life saver Niall. But did you see Louis’ reaction? He totally ignored me!”

”Don’t worry about him. He’ll be fine, he’s just a drama queen”

”He sure is ” I said and continued eating .

The following day.

”Are you ready dear?” Helene asked with an exciment face.

”No not at all. I’m so so so so so nervous!” I said breathing in and out like women do when they're about to give birth.

”Don’t be my dear, you will be doing great. You ARE a great singer. I’m sure you will impress everybody”

”You really think so?” I said biting my lip. I was so insecure I dont know if it was because of yesterdays episode with Harry or the fact that he would hear me sing the song. I was a nerve wrack and I sweat like a pig.

”I promise that darling” she said and asked for a hug. After we hugged she looked straight to my eyes ”believe in yourself you have no reason for being nervous you are amazing and you have NIall who will support you. Besides no one will know if you mess up. Just stay calm you’re born to be on that stage”

”Thank you so so much, you’re support means everything” I admitted. Helene managed to send me a last smile before she sent me to the stage. Niall stood behind the curtain.


”Are you ready?” he asked smiling big. ” Not really i’m so nervous Niall I haven’t slept all night.”

”Dont be nervous i’m right next you. Let’s go” he said and took my hand, his guitar around his shoulder.

We stepped on the stage as everyone started clapping. I could see the teachers and the principal on front row, luckily the spot light blinded me so I couldnt see the whole crowd- or Harry. Mrs. Stinson presented us and Niall started playing the guitar.

Okay Annabelle show them what you got, show Harry that you love him, show everyone that you are a great singer and that you can write songs I thought to myself.

The end of the night

Oh god I dont know if i should feel embarrased because everyone know who I'm singing about.. Nah don’t think about that Annabelle! I convinced myself.
”Just feel the lyrics and the music” that’s what my mum always told me and I sure would do that.

Harry P.O.V

”Wow she looks so stunning and she sounds so amazing” El said but fastly covered her motuth with her hand. ” Ups Sorry”

Dont be sorry, I smiled. ”You’re right.. The song is amazing so is she”

”You do know the song is about you right?” Louis asked.

”You think ? Maybe it’s about Zayn”

”Stop Harry, listen.. ” I’ll change my mind” .. she regrets the thing with Zayn”

”What did she say that to you?”

”Well maybe just listen to the god damn song !” she laughed.

The song made me think of our moments, memories, laughs. Everything.. was she really about to change her mind?

Her voice is so amazing and the fact that the lyrics describes our relationship just make me weak, I feel like I want to survive. I literally want to run up to the stage and kiss her in front of everyone.


”Earth's calling” Louis said and waved his hand in front of my face.

”What?! ”

”Are you okay you look…. Yeah ….”

”I’m fine” I insisted.

”Are you sure?” El asked concerned.

”Im totally fine Im just enjoying her performance” I said lowly.

”You miss her dont you?” I didnt answer I just looked at her, im sure my expression showed my emotions clearly.

Annabelle finished her perfomance and everyone got up and clapped. Wow her performance was better than mine! Everyone was going wild. She looked amazing and her smile was wide.

”I’ll change my mind”.. The words haunted my brain.Would she really change her mind? Then why was she cheating on me, then why was she so happy with Zayn the other day?


Annabelle P.O.V

”What a great performance!” Helene said optimistaclly as she hugged me .

”I couldnt have done this without you, thank you for everything!” I replied.

”You did a great job too Niall” I said. The three of us hugged as people came running towards us. ” You two are amazing” Soph shouted and hugged us. She kissed Niall and looked at me like she admired me.
”You are such a great singer Im so proud of you, you’ve comed so far. The fact that you sung thatin front of Harry is just.. Amazing” .. I didnt manage to answer her because someone dotted me on the back – El!
”My girl ! You were fantastic, so wonderfull you are” she exclamied me and lifted me up.

”Thank you guys you make me blush!” I admitted as l looked at the ground.

”I’ll leave you guys alone” Helene said and left. We started talking about the whole idea of the song and how we came up with the lyrics as someone coughted.

We all turned around, - It was Harry and Louis.

”What’s uuuuupppppppppp fellas?” Louis yelled and jumped on Niall and Soph. El hugged him from behind and they all fell on the floor, laughing their asses off and starting a ’’fight’ on the floor.I couldnt stop myself from giggling but Harrys presence made me freeze. He smiled as he took a step forward, now standing in front of me.

”Great performance Annabelle. You are….Gorgeu…..I mean great”
I gave him a slight smile as I once again looked at the ground ”Thanks” I said with a low voice.

”So ..” he said now standing right in front of me, the only things that aparted us were my chest and the few inches from our heads.

”Yeah?” I said once again insecurely like never before.
