Zayn unpacked his stuff while I did my homework.

”What's this?”, he suddenly asked and showed me a T-shirt.

It was Harry's. He must have forgot it yesterday .. or the other day when we slept together.

”Ehh.. Well.. ”, I murmed.

As I said I suck at lying!

"Well it's Nialls. He must have forgot it when we had a movie night here", I lied straight to Zayn's face. I can't believe I just did that. So stupid of me.


”Oh okay”, he said. I thought of other things that Harry might had left. He had literally lived in my room the last week. We were unsepreable so it was weird being with Zayn again. But I enjoyed it. It actually kind of felt like he had never been away.

The night came and as in the old days me and Zayn relaxed in his bed talking about everything.

”So how are you? Have you talked with Harry lately.. I saw how he was looking at you”, he admitted.

”To be honest, yeah we’re friends again. I had to finish business with him after you left. I couldn't endure the problems anymore".

”It's nice you solved the problem but i'll never forgive what he did to you. I can't believe he did it. It was a totally different side of Harry that I never have seen before", he once again sounded emotionless.

"Zayn, he didn't cheat on me.. ", I said. I tried to support Harry. I wanted them to be friends again so everything could be as it was once.

"Didn't cheat on you? Annabelle you saw it with your own eyes!" His voice raised as he looked seriously at me. His eyes darkened.


”I know your secret. The guys told me before you left”, I changed subject.

”You do what?”, he blushed.

”I know how you feel about me and I can't believe you never told me. We're best friends and we can tell each other everything, right?"

”Yeah but not things that will ruin our friendship”, he said once again without a single emotion. How could he be so cold suddenly?

”Zayn nothing will ruin our friendship I promise. You know I love you to bits but I would have prefered that you told me how you felt. Instead I kept talking about Harry and my feelings for him".

"Ye and you're still going to do that because I'm still the same Zayn. What kind of friend would I be if I ignored your problems? A true friend make his friends problems to his problem".

Wow I was speechless. Nice job Zayn you truly know where to push my button!

"I just don't want you to fight with Harry anymore, can we just all be friends?"

"Annabelle, how can you be friends with someone who lied, cheated and played with your heart?"

That was it. He had crossed the line!

"You just don't get it Zayn. He didn't cheat or lie.. Or play with my heart. I've talked with him things are different now!". I left his bed, jumping into mine. " Goodnight Zayn", I said. The mood was totally awkward.. And few minutes later he was asleep.

I loved seeing him in my room again, seeing him sleep in the bed close to mine. I felt safe but I missed Harry already.

And I knew that the chaos would begin soon..
