Does he know?

"ZAAAAAAAYN!", I cried out loudly and happily. He sent me the biggest smile and embraced me.

"God I have missed you so much you little prick", he said as he squeezed me into him. I almost lost my breath.

”What are you even doing here?,” I asked quickly looking all curious at him.

” I came to see you guys. I know how important the musical is so I wanted to support you”.

"Aw you're such a sweetheart Zayn!", El confessed and called the group.

His words made my heart melt. He was so loving, caring.... He was just wonderful. I kept starring at his eyes.

"Excuse me missy, move it's my boy”, he yelled and jumped into Zayns arms. I laughed so hard. I loved seeing Liam's huge smile on his face. I knew how much he had missed Zayn. We all hugged each other like one big family. I was filled up with happiness. Everyone smiled like never before and told how much they had missed Zayn. I felt like I was back on the first day of school. Back then everything was perfect.

Then I remembered..

HARRY!
He had to perform, which we all had forgot about. Shit I had promised to be there for him! When we got backstage Harry was already done performing ”Thanks for remembering me guys”, he said irratably.

” Oh.. ”, he said when he noticed Zayn standing beside Liam.

He scratched his back as if he didn't know what to say..

"Hi Zayn", he said oddly after a while.

"Hey", Zayn replied emotionlessly.

"Weell guys let's head to the cafeteria i'm starving", Niall luckily suggested and everyone followed his lead.

"What is he doing here?", Harry whispered. He was cleraly mystified. I ignored his question, I didn't know what to say, what to do or how to behave.

I sat beside Zayn and everyone started asking him questions. I adored him while he answered because he looked so handsome.. Had he worked out? He looked fitter and more muscular now. After we had eaten I invited him up to our old room to chat in private.


” I have to tell you something”, he said as we entered the room.

”What is it?”, I smiled.

”I’m coming back to college.. today” he smiled.

I looked at him with the biggest "did you just say that" face.

"REALLY? How fucking great is that!! My best friend is finally back ”, I screamed in pleasure and gave him high five. He hugged me again and kissed my cheek

"It's nice seeing you so happy. I can't wait to hang out with the group just like in the old days", he answered.

Oh yeah ... The old days ..

When everything was perfect I thought to myself.
