I woke up around three in the morning. I didn’t really know why until I was a bit more awake. My stomach growled. I didn’t eat supper last night so my stomach decided for a wakeup call. I rolled over and saw Niall, still sound asleep. I smiled and decided that I didn’t want to wake him up for my needs. I slowly removed the covers and got up. He stirred a little but nothing major.

Once out of bed, I walked over to the bathroom and grabbed a hair tie and put my hair up in a messy bun. I had super long hair and I normally slept with it up or pulled back but last night, I fell asleep with Niall and totally forgot to put my hair back.

After feeling the relief of my hair out of my face, I walked out of the bathroom to see that Niall was no longer on his side but sprawled out and taking over the whole bed.

I giggled and he moved his body a little but I decided I should leave before I woke the sleeping beast.

I walked towards the door when his voice scared me.

“Where you going?” He asked while his face was in the pillow. After my heart stopped beating so fast, I found the breath to reply.

“Getting something to eat. I didn’t eat anything last night and I’m starving!” I said before walking back over to the bed.

“Oh?” He said before turning around and laying on his back.

“Yea, I was just so excited to be with you that I forgot my own needs!” I laughed lightly after what I said. It was true, I forgot the necessities from being so excited to see him again.

“Me too!” He said while propping himself up on his elbows. He took one hand and rubbed his eyes trying to get the sleep out of them.

“You were excited to see me too?” I asked though I’m sure I already knew the answer.\

“Yea, plus I was like dead tired!” He said and chuckled lightly.

“Well, I’m going to make pancakes. You want any?” I asked gesturing to the door.

Niall got up and walked over to me. He grabbed my hand and brought it slowly up to his mouth.

“Why don’t we go and get something?” He asked before he kissed my hand and brought it back down to my side.

“Are you sure? What’s open at this time in the morning?” I asked. I really wanted to just make some pancakes but if he wanted to go out, then so be it.

“Let’s go to Waffle House!” Niall said a little bit excited. He always reminded me of a kid when he got excited. The way his face lights up, like he had the most brilliant idea, is just too precious.

“Sure! I love that place!” I said just as excited as him. I loved Waffle House. They almost knew me there! I always go there when I wanted breakfast on the weekends but lately, I’ve been busy with Niall.

“Alright! Let’s go!” He said while still holding onto my hand. He lead my out of my bedroom door and down the stairs. We got to the front door when I realized I had left my phone upstairs.

“Do you really need it?” Niall asked a little bit disappointed.

“Yes!” I shouted. I needed it because I needed to know when my mom was coming home. It was then I realized that she didn’t know anything about me and Niall and I promised myself, that when she got back, I was going to tell her everything. Hopefully she won’t be too mad that we slept in the same room together.

“why?” His voice was winy.

“My mom!” I said and lightly giggled.

“I’ll be right back!” I said before letting go of his hand and running up the stairs.

Once I reached the bedroom door, I opened it to find that I left the phone on my bed. Considering that I fell asleep in my clothes.

I grabbed it and realized that the battery was dead. I hoped my mom wouldn’t text me why I was out. I decided to leave the phone on the charger while I was gone.

I found some slip-ons and slipped them on. I didn’t want to go barefoot. I grabbed Niall’s shoes and brought them back downstairs with me.

“I put my phone on the charger and you might want these!” I said and threw the shoes at him.

“Uuf!” He grunted when he caught the shoes. He smiled and said a quick thank you and bent down to put his shoes on. Once he was done, he grabbed my hand again and entwined our fingers. It felt good to feel his touch.

“Let’s go.” He said and led me out the door and into my car.

He insisted that he should drive. We fought a bit about it but I finally let him drive. It was my car and I wouldn’t expect him to let me drive his car.

He did the same thing as always: opened the door for me and let me get in.

After a few minutes, we finally arrived at Waffle House!

“I’m so hungry I could eat a dozen pancakes!” I said while rubbing my belly.

“Oh yea? I challenge you to eat more than me!” Niall said while a smirk played at his face.

“Niall, you eat all the time! You’ve prepared for this moment!” I said while slightly patting his stomach. It made him laugh in return.

“You’re right!” He said while opening his door. He got out and walked to my side of the car, let me out, and entwined our fingers.

We walked hand in hand to the doors. He only let go of my hand for a second while he opened the door for me and then he grabbed my hand again. It was almost like if he let go, he would lose me.

The waitress saw us and told us to take a seat anywhere. Niall and I chose the booth all the way in the back so our conversations would be a little more private. Niall and I were the only ones there beside the waitress and the guy that made the pancakes and waffles.

“Hi! My name is Sandy an-“ she stopped when she got a bit closer to Niall. Her facial expressions changed dramatically. It went from nice and friendly to extremely excited.

“Oh my god! You’re Niall Horan!” she said while still in shock. Niall smiled at her.

“Yea, I know!” He said while slightly chuckling.

“Such a big fan!” Sandy said. Niall smiled a bit bigger.

“Thanks!” Niall said.

“I’m here with Cristina!” He said pointing to me.

“And we came to eat.” He finished while trying to hint at Sandy that all we wanted were our menus.

“Oh! Of course!” she said while handing us our menus.

“If you need anything, just holler!” She said before walking back up to the counter.

After a few glances exchanged from Niall and I to each other, we looked at our menus.

“See anything you like?” Niall asked while still looking at his menu.

I already knew what I wanted when he asked.

“Yea. You?” I said while putting my menu off to the side.

“No, everything looks so good!” He said while he continued to look at the menu.

The waitress came over and asked if we were ready to order.

“She does but I’m still looking.” Niall said while bringing the menu closer to his face. I giggled as he struggled to find something to eat.

“Alright honey, what do you want?” She asked sweetly while she grabbed her notepad.

“I want two chocolate chip waffles and a glass of orange juice. Oh, don’t be stingy with the chocolate! Also, could you put some chocolate chips on the waffle?” I asked as I noticed Niall slowly remove the menu from his face. He looked at me like some weirdo. It was onlychocolate!

“Yep so extra chocolate chips in the waffles and some on the waffles?” She said to clarify everything.

“Yep!” I said while popping the ‘p’.

“I didn’t know you like chocolate so much!” Niall said surprised.

“Oh hell yea! I love chocolate!” I said while giggling.

He chuckled and looked at Sandy.

“I’ll have the same thing but not as many chocolate chips and could you bring me a side of peanut butter?” Niall said while putting his menu off to the side.

“Sure can sweetie!” Sandy said as she wrote down our orders.

“It will be ready soon!” She said before walking back to the guy.

“You’re a chocolate lover!” Niall stated while he smiled.

“Yep, chocolate makes the world go round. It also makes me happy when I’m mad but only when I’m mad. I’m not one of those girls who eat chocolate when she is sad, I only eat it when I’m mad or when I crave it.” I said while fiddling with my hair.

“Well, you must be either extremely pissed or you want some freaking chocolate!” He said before laughing.

“I don’t know why it is so funny!” I said as he continued to laugh.

“I don’t know either!” He continued to laugh which eventually caused me to laugh. Niall is so cute when he laughs. That was all I noticed when he did. His smile could end wars!
He finally stopped laughing.

“So, how was school?” Niall asked.

“Well, no one is really mean to me anymore.” I said while my mind was trying to remember what all had happened while he was gone.

“Is that it?” he asked.

“Also, when I was coming home from school, a mob of girls followed me.” I said while looking him in the eyes.

His face tensed up.

“They didn’t say anything bad right?” He asked as I noticed his jaw clench.

“No, they were excited to meet me!” I said trying to make him calm down. His face noticeably relaxed.

“Oh good!” He said while leaning back into the booth.

“Also, the girl that has been bullying me since kindergarten, Sara, she apologized and I guess we are now friends.” I said.

He leaned forward and looked me deeply in the eyes.

“Really? Did you believe her?” He asked while still continuing to look me in the eyes.

“Yes. She cried and told me how sorry she was. I believed she was truly sorry.” I said as he smiled.

“That’s great news Cristi!” He said excitedly.

“I’m glad school isn’t as torturous as it used to be for you.” He said while he leaned back.

“Here you go!” Sandy said bringing us our food and drinks.

“Thanks!” Niall and I both said.

“No problem! Let me know if you need anything else!” She said and walked away.

I started eating right away while Niall watched me.

“Damn! You must be hungry!” He said and laughed.

“I told you!” I said with a mouth full of food.

He started to eat too and we ate for a few minutes in silence. Once I finally started to slow down, I looked a Niall while I took a drink of my orange juice.

“So, what was the bet you lost?” I asked while setting my glass down.

“What?” He was the one talking with food in his mouth now.

“When you guys skyped me, what was the bet you lost?” I asked again.

“Oh!” Niall practically shouted and then he blushed.

“What?” I said while he tried to avoid eye contact.

“The bet was that I couldn’t go an hour without talking about you or to you. I lost within the first five minutes.” He said and shoved some waffles in his mouth.

It was my turn to blush.

“Awe! Really?” I asked while he nodded.

“I couldn’t do it!” Niall said and picked up his glass and took a big gulp.

Once we were finished, Sandy came over and took our plates. My stomach was full and so was Niall’s.

I asked for another glass of orange juice, seeming as I drank the last glass with my waffles.
When she brought it back to me, I chugged it down as Niall looked at me in amazement.

“Thirsty?” he asked.

“I love orange juice!” I said while wiping my face with a napkin.

“I know what I’m getting you when you’re mad!” He said and chuckled lightly which brought a smile on my face.

“Let me pay and we can leave.” Niall said as he picked up the bill from the end of the table. It was awkward for me considering I have never been on a date before.

“Alright!” I said as he got up to go and pay.

When he came back, Niall stood by the booth I was sitting in. He was blocking my path but then reached down and grabbed my hand.

“Your bed awaits!” He said while helping me up. I don’t think he realized how inappropriate that sounded but Sandy sure did. She looked at us with her mouth agape. I blushed and tried to lead Niall out without being confronted.

He was trying his hardest to stand his ground but gave in as he shouted back to Sandy.

“Thanks! Have a nice day!”

He opened the door of my car and let me in before he got in on his side. The ride was pretty silent other than the few words that came out of my mouth as I tried to sing the song that was on the radio. Every time I did, Niall would smile and that would get me to stop singing for a bit.

We pulled up to my house but by then I was fully awake. I didn’t want to go to bed.
We walked inside as I told Niall, “I love it when you open the door for me.”

He smiled and replied, “Then I will do it more often.”

We walked upstairs and Niall slipped off his shoes and then his shirt. I couldn’t help but to look at him. Who wouldn’t?!

Niall noticed and I quickly looked down at the floor.

“It’s alright love. I’m pretty sure if I saw you shirtless, I would look too.” That only made me blush more.

He walked closer to me and brought his hand under my chin. He slowly brought my head to his. He smiled before he brought his lips down to mine. I smiled into the kiss and kissed back.

Niall pulled away and asked if I was tired. I said no but I said that I still wanted to cuddle with him.

“Hold on.” I said as Niall was getting into bed. I walked over to my bathroom and quickly brushed my teeth.

“Much better!” I said while walking back into my bedroom. I slipped my shoes off and walked over to the dresser and found some sweats. I walked back to the bathroom and put them on.

When I came out, I noticed Niall was almost fully asleep.

I quickly got into bed and faced him. He smiled and opened his eyes.

“You’re so beautiful.” He mumbled but I understood perfectly. He rubbed his thumb over my burning cheeks.

“Thanks.” I whispered which only made him smile more. He opened his arms, a gesture saying that he wanted me to get closer. I obeyed and got as close as humanly possible to him. He greeted my body and wrapped his arms around me, like he was scared I would slip away. For the second time, I noticed that we fit perfectly in each other’s body like we were made for each other. It made me smile and snuggle closer to Niall which I didn’t think was possible.

“I love the feeling you bring to my stomach.” Niall said sleepily.

“You do?” I said curiously.

“Yes, it’s like butterflies but with some type of warm liquid. It is a very calm but loving feeling.” He said and kissed me on the forehead.

I giggled and within a few seconds, I heard him lightly snoring. I smiled and placed a kiss on his bare chest.

I stayed cuddled in his arms and enjoyed the moment and before I knew it, sleep took over my body and I was dreaming about the guy next to me.
