Finally! It’s Friday! I know, I just saw him yesterday but I really like this boy. I just hope I don’t fall too hard for him and if I do, I want him to feel the same way.

The alarm clock was playing its usual tone. There were times where I would set it to a song and then there were times where I would set it some type of tone. Today, I woke up to Best Song Ever playing. I turned the volume down, considering your ears are very sensitive in the morning, and I let the song play while I rummaged through my closet to find an outfit for the day.

Alice was still avoiding me. I don’t know what her problem was. I think she has some hate towards Sara for all the crap she said to me and I don’t blame her but Alice needs to realize that I forgave her and I moved on. She doesn’t need to be holding onto a grudge that I let go.

Speaking of Alice, my phone buzzed at a message and it was from her.

Alice: Hey, I don’t need a ride. Allen’s coming to get me. TTYL

I was scared that I was losing my best friend over something completely ridiculous.

Me: Alice, are you mad at me? What did I do?

I really wanted to know what I did. I know some of it was because of Sara but I just don’t understand. Maybe I will talk to her at school.

I found an outfit for school and quickly put it on while I went to the bathroom and got out my straightener.

BZZZZZZ BZZZZZZ

Alice: I’m not mad! I will talk to you later! Ok?

Maybe she wasn’t as mad as I thought but, knowing Alice, she was probably hiding something from me. She tends to do this a lot.

Me: ok

I put my phone in my pant pocket and waited for the straightener to warm up.
It takes a while to straighten my hair, considering it is so thick and it takes a miracle for it to stay the way I want it to. Once I was satisfied with my hair, I moved onto brushing my hair and teeth.

Make-up wasn’t something I wore a lot. Just some eyeliner and mascara was what I would wear on a regular basis. Today, I decided to put on the whole thing. Meaning, I was going to add foundation and eye shadow to the mix.

I was very energetic because I knew someone was going to be back today. I was excited.

Speak of the devil!

Niall:): Hey lovely! See you after school today! I should be picking you up but the plan might change!

I didn’t know how that was going to work considering I was driving my car to school today.

Me: It’s alright! I’m taking my car today! Just wait for me at my house! I will leave the key taped on the inside of the screen door! See you later!

I decided that it would be alright to have Niall just go and wait for me. That way, when I came home, it would be easier for me to get ready to go and hang out with him! God, I was already planning out the day and he isn’t even here!

Niall:): Alright love! See you later! ;)

I giggled at this text. I don’t know why but I was getting butterflies in my stomach.

I grabbed the keys, and the extra one, and some duck-tape. I grabbed my bag and opened the door. I taped the key on the inside of the screen door and locked the wooden door. Now, all I have to do is get through school.

Like always school was dragging on but it was a little bit faster than normal for two reasons:

1- Sara was constantly talking to me and doing all this random stuff for me. She asked for my number and had been texting me through the classes that we didn’t have together.

2- Niall was coming home and I was excited!

Favorite time of the day is lunch. I have new people to socialize with like Sara, Jennifer, Natasha, and Oliver.

Jennifer is like Sara’s second in command. When Sara wasn’t there, she would always make sure I got the required amount of bullying for the day but that was before Sara apologized and I found out that Jennifer was pretty cool. She actually likes me.

Natasha never really picked on me but didn’t do anything about it when Sara and Jennifer did. I noticed she is really sweet and also nice. She has a lot in common with me and I didn’t understand why she was with Sara’s group anyways.

Oliver was the quarterback of the football team (American Football). He was also dating Jennifer and he was very sweet to me. He was one of the guys that really didn’t pick on me but still didn’t bother to talk to me. He doesn’t seem to mind that I am friends with Jennifer and even asks me questions.

It was finally nice to have friends, even if those friends used to pick on me. Sara was the only one that had said sorry to me. I guess the rest didn’t think about saying anything but right now, that didn’t seem to bother me. The only person missing from this was Alice. She was still avoiding me but I wanted to get this conversation out of the way.

“Hey, Sara. I’m going to go and talk to Alice. I will be right back.” I said to Sara and the group.

“Alright! Hurry back!” they said back.

I walked over to the table Alice was sitting at. She was sitting with her boyfriend Allen.

“Hey Alice.” I said trying to get her attention.

“Oh, hey Cristy.” She said trying to avoid eye contact.

“Can we talk?” I asked hoping she was willing to have the conversation now.

“Yea, sure.” She said while scooting over to a different chair.

“In private.” I said as I looked at her boyfriend. Him and I never really got along. I don’t think he is good enough for her and he’s a jerk.

“I guess.” She said reluctantly.

She got up and I followed her outside.

She sat down on the bench that was directly to the right of the doors.

I followed her movements and sat down next to her.

“Are you mad at me?” I asked her while she fiddled with her fingers.

“Not really.” She said, not fully answering my question.

“Why? What did I do?” I asked.

She looked up at me. I thought she was making a bigger deal out of this than what it needed to be.

“I just don’t think it is right that you forgave Sara and her clan of bitches so easily after all of the shit they did to you!” She said, her voice raised a little.

“I forgave her because she sounded sorry. I believed her. I would much rather forgive her than hold the grudge forever.” I said.

“Well, I still don’t think it is right.” She said and her voice was back to its normal volume.

“You should get to know them Alice. They aren’t as bad as we used to think. Sara is sorry for what she did and I believe her but you don’t need to hold the grudge for me. I’m a big girl!” I said and giggled a little. It was an attempt to make her smile but it didn’t work.

“Please, just come and sit with us and if you still don’t like them than you don’t have to be involved with this. Okay?”

She nodded and got up.

We walked back to our table and Alice was very hesitant.

“Sara, Jennifer, Natasha, Oliver, this is Alice. She is my best friend and I think we should all be friends.” I said while keeping my eye contact on mainly Sara.

“Sure!” Jennifer said. She got up and moved a chair over to the table.

“Join us!” Sara said and patted the available chair. Alice’s mood automatically lightened up.
We all talked about random stuff and laughing our asses off. I could tell that Alice was going to want to sit with us from now on.

The bell rang telling us that I was time to get to class. We all walked together but eventually all of us had to go our separate way. Alice, Sara, Natasha, and Oliver all walked to their different classes while Jennifer and I walked to Algebra together.

I was talking to Jennifer about Niall coming back today and she brought up a very good question.

“What are you going to do when he goes on tour?”

“I have no idea!” I said honestly. I didn’t know what I was going to do but I was certain that that wasn’t going to be for a while.

BZZZZZ BZZZZZZ

Niall:): I got back a little earlier than expected. I’m going to take my luggage home and then I will be at your house!

I smiled at the phone in my lap. I usually only check my phone when I have a free period but for some reason I checked my phone during class.

“Cristina. What are you smiling at?” Mr. Milton’s voice made me jump.

“Nothing.” I said and quickly put my phone away.

“Well, it must’ve been something good because I know people don’t smile at their crotches!” He said and the class erupted in laughter. I laughed to. He didn’t seem to care and moved onto today’s lesson.

When we got to the homework section of class, I quickly finished and stared out the window. I was lost in thoughts. I was excited and couldn’t wait until Niall and I could hang out.

BRRRIIINGGG RIIINNGG

The bell interrupted my thoughts. I quickly got my stuff into my bag and tried to get out the door.

I was caught by the arm. Jennifer.

“Hey! Slow down! Got a date or something?” She said while giggling.

“Yes, I do!” I said and her face went to understanding.

“Oh, yea! I forgot!” She said while releasing my arm.

“I just wanted to say, I’m sorry. For all the shit I put you through. It wasn’t right and I hope we could be friends.” She said while looking me straight in the eyes. Two down, one to go.

“Thanks and I would love to be friends.” I said. She smiled and we walked outside, along with Alice, Sara, Natasha, and Oliver.

Alice decided to get a ride from me. We talked about Niall coming back and she was just as excited as I was. They way that we were talking to each other made it seem like nothing happened. I loved this about our friendship.

“Bye! Go be with your lover!” She said and slammed the door so I didn’t have time to protest. I just laughed and pulled out of the drive way. I was soooo freaking excited to see Niall again. I know, I’m weird considering that I just saw him yesterday. There was just something different about today.

I pulled up to my drive way. I was expecting to see Niall open the door to greet me but nothing.

I got out of the car and unlocked the door. It seemed he locked it after getting in. good boy!

“Niall?” I said while putting my belongings in their usual place.

There was no answer. I went to the kitchen thinking that he got a snack while he waited.

“Niall, where are you?” I said while realizing that he wasn’t in the kitchen and I made my way towards the stairs. Maybe he was trying to surprise me.

“Niall, are you in my room?” I asked while opening up my bedroom door. He was there just not the way I wanted him to be.

Niall was all sprawled out sleeping on my bed. I giggled and it caused him to stir.

I took my shoes off and walked over to the bed.

“Hey, Niall I’m here!” I said quietly but loud enough to cause a reaction from him. He still didn’t wake up but he moved over, like he wanted me to join him. I gladly accepted his offer and gently climbed into bed with him. Niall moved to his side and was facing me. His eyes were still closed and I smiled. He may not be awake but I still appreciated him being here.

“I missed you.” He said in his sleepy voice. I giggled.

“I missed you too.” I said. A smile was on his face as he put his arms around me and pulled me closer to him. My head rested in the crook of his neck. He was awake now and pulled away from me.

“Wait, we just saw each other yesterday.” He said while smiling.

“I know but it felt like forever.” I said and he chuckled.

“I agree love.” He said and brought his lips to my forehead.

“I’m very tired.” He said while closing his eyes.

“I can tell!” I said and giggled.

“Will you just lay with me?” Niall asked.

“Anything for you!” I said and he brought us closer again. I noticed that I was smaller than him and my body fit perfect with his. I smiled and I think he noticed too as he snuggled closer.

“We fit perfect.” He said and those were the last words that came out of his mouth and he fell asleep.

“I know.” I said even though he couldn’t hear me.

I kissed his cheek and for the second time, I fell asleep in Niall’s embrace.
