This week was going to go by slow. I know what you’re thinking! I know we just met but there was some type of connection between Niall and I that I couldn’t even understand, let alone explain.

Niall made me feel beautiful and that was probably why I wanted to be around him but was this why I liked him? And even if I did like him for that reason it wasn’t bad! Right?

It couldn’t be bad! It wasn’t!

I just knew that I was going to miss him until Friday. At least he’ll be back before my mom gets back but today was only Tuesday! I still had to get to Friday night in order to see Niall!

“Uggh!” I mumbled to myself. The alarm was blaring at me while I was having a discussion in my head.

“I get it! I get it!” I said to the inanimate object.

I stumbled out of bed because of my lack of motivation.

Clothes were the least of my worries. I just found something to wear on my lazy days.

I walked to the kitchen and for the first time in a long time, I actually had time to make breakfast. I rummaged through the pantry, finally finding myself some cereal.

I sat down at the table and enjoyed my Apple Jacks.

BZZZZZZ BZZZZZZ

My phone vibrated three times! I thought at least one of them had to be from Niall.

Niall:): Morning Beautiful! I miss you and can’t wait to see you Friday! <3

I smiled at his message. He was looking forward to Friday just as much as I was.

Mom: Things are getting a little weird here. I don’t know if I will make it back by Saturday but definitely by Monday of next week. That’s only if things get even more out of hand.

I frowned and tears brimmed my eyes. I understood that my mom loved her job but it was causing her to be far away from me all of the time. I missed her all of the time but I wasn’t going to be the one thing that stood in front of her dreams.

Alice: Hey! You coming to get me today?

Her messaged made me realize that I still had to attend school.

Me to Niall: I miss you too and probably more than you miss me!
Me to Mom: Alright just try to figure it all out because I miss you!
Me to Alice: Of course silly! I get you almost every day!

I placed my bowl in the sink and made a mental note to do the dishes after super tonight.
I grabbed the back pack and the keys that always waited for me by the door.


I pulled up to Alice’s house, honking the horn twice. She came bounding out and had a newspaper in her hand. She opened the door and threw the newspaper at me while throwing her bag into the back seat. She seemed to like to throw things.

I took the newspaper that was messed up because of the sloppy throw.

The newspaper was about Niall saying that he saw a future with me. There was a picture of me and Niall on the front.

I smiled and Alice seemed to get more excited by the minute.

“Oh my god! I am like so happy for you! I hope you guys get together soon!” She said while clapping her hands. She seemed to do this when she was overly excited.

I rolled my eyes and tried to explain to her for the second time.

“We JUST met Alice! We won’t be dating for a while!” I said while handing her the newspaper and pulling out towards the street.

“Gurl! Have you ever heard of ‘love at first sight’?” She said pointedly. The way she said it made me feel stupid. But I didn’t really know if I believed in that considering I wasn’t in “love” with Niall. I liked him but love is something totally different.

“I believe in ‘I like you at first sight’!” I said while giggling.

She rolled her eyes.

“I know you guys got something going on. Whether it be something little or something big, I know that you like him and he likes you and that is all you need to start a relationship!” She said. Her excitement seemed to calm down. She started being serious and more argumental.

“Well it would have to be his call either way but I don’t know how to act in a relationship! I wouldn’t know what to do with myself if I was with someone, let alone someone famous!” I said, trying to explain to her my side was getting more and more difficult.

“It depends on the person you are with. It doesn’t matter if you haven’t had any experience because Niall isn’t like other guys. It your job to figure out what he likes and what he doesn’t. You don’t need no damn magazine telling you what guys like and don’t like!” She said while skimming over the newspaper. She was right though. All guys have different tastes and opinions. It was my job to figure out Niall if we ever got into a relationship.

The car ride to school was some-what quiet with the occasional blurts from Alice about school.

Alice and I walked up to the front doors off the school.

“Ready for another exciting day at school?” I asked sarcastically. Alice looked like she was going to puke the closer we got. School sucked the life out of you.

Classes drug on by. Every minute felt like an hour. At this rate it would seem that a year would have to go by in order for me to see Niall.

Lunch is my favorite period of the day. Not because it involves food but because it is my second to last period of the day. After lunch I only had one more class so you could basically say that I looked forward to lunch every day.

Alice and I sat in our usual seats after getting our food. Normal conversations were always held between us at school. Alice seemed to like to bring up Niall a lot and with every word that came out of her mouth, she got louder. The louder she got, the more stares we received. I tried to tell her to be quiet but that only caused her to be even more loud.

“Alice, seriously! The whole school is looking at us!” I said while making eye contact with Sara. Ever since our little encounter, she never bothered me again but today she looked like she wanted to.

“I don’t care!” She said throwing her hands up in the air.

“I want everyone to know that your BOYFRIEND is NIALL HORAN!” She practically yelled.When she said “boyfriend” and Niall, she looked around the room and said the words pretty loud. She was trying to get people to notice us, or she wanted them to be jealous.

“He’s not my boyfriend, Alice. I already told you this!” I said while getting annoyed. She wasn’t going to let that through her head.

“He’s not your boyfriend, yet! Yet is the key word here missy!” She said while shoving some fries in her mouth.

I rolled my eyes.

“Stop making a rainbow over my head!” She said with a mouthful of food.

I smiled. She always says that.

“Hi!” A girl said to us. I looked at her. She didn’t look familiar but she looked young.

“Hey!” I said giving her a small wave.

“I’m here for Teen Magazine and I was wondering if you could give me a few minutes of your time to have an interview with you?” She asked while raising her eyebrows. An interview with me? This was all starting to be a bit much for me. This fame was starting to get to me. They would never ask me to be in an interview if I was just a regular girl. I still wanted to do it, considering I have never been interviewed for anything besides my job.

“Sure!” I said while scooting over to a different chair so she could sit next to me.

“Alright! I promise it won’t take much of you time!”

Alice left me with this girl to go and sit with her boyfriend Allen. She said she didn’t want to give her all of the answers.

“My name is Emily and your name is obviously Cristina!” She said while shaking my hand. I nodded, letting her know that was correct.

“I hear you are dating Niall Horan.” She said while pulling out a note pad.

I smiled at her, making myself seem nicer than I really was.

“Well we are just dating. I mean, there’s a few kisses stolen here and there but other than that we are just dating.” I said. Maybe she would understand this more than Alice did.
She nodded her head while writing something down.

“Do you see yourself with Niall?” She asked after she finished writing.

I smiled and nodded. I really did see myself with him but I felt like if we dated now that our friendship would be ruined.

“Yes, I do. He’s such a sweetheart and made me believe in things that I didn’t think were possible.” I said while remembering all the times Niall called me beautiful.

She giggled while writing more down.

“How’d you meet?” She asked while smiling.

I told her the story and she seemed to grow a bigger smile by the time I was done. The whole time she was writing stuff down. This interview wasn’t all I’d expected it to be. She finished writing and put her note pad in her bag. Before she got up, I asked, “When and or what is this?”

She smiled.

“I’m writing an article in the magazine about Niall. Originally, it was just supposed to be about him but you two are seeing each other and he speaks so fondly of you. I just had to add you in the article!” She said while standing up. She gave me a smile and stuck her hand out.

“It was nice meeting you and you can look for the magazine on Friday!” She said. She turned and walked away.

Friday seemed to be a big day for me. I was going to see Niall and I was going to be in a magazine.

Alice came back over as soon as Emily left.

“What did she say?” She asked.

“Just the basics like if I was dating Niall and if I saw myself being with him.” I said while walking up to the trash can and throwing my remnants away.

She smiled and said, “Well, now the world will know.”

She walked away as soon as the bell rang. I walked towards Algebra and hoped no one would mention anything.

School ended and I was more than happy to go home.As soon as I got home, I realized that I had nothing to do. There were times where I wished that I didn’t get my homework done in school just so I would have something to do when I got home.

Niall:): How’s was school? Really wish we could hang out! Be back Friday!

I smiled. I really wish he was here.

Me: I had an interview today and I can’t wait till you get back!

Niall:): An interview?
Me: Yea, for Teen.

Niall seemed to be on top of texting today! He was responding so fast that I thought he was just reading my mind and then replying.

Niall:): What did they ask?

I smiled at the fact that they asked me about him. I didn’t want to tell him so I decided to keep it a secret until the magazine came out Friday.

Me: You are going to have to wait until Friday! ;)

BZZZZZ BZZZZZZ

Niall:): Don’t do that to me love! I don’t want to wait!
Me: Well sucks to be you! :P

I smiled. I knew Niall was impatient but it was fun to keep people waiting even though I hated it when people did it to me.

Niall:):Fine! See you Friday!

I smiled. I wanted this week to go by faster so I could figure out my feelings for Niall or so that I could create stronger feelings for him. I would really like to know if this was just something for a while or something that would last a long time. This was something I would really like to know.
