We were sat talking to the family. Well, Emma was playing with Olivia, Olivia loves her! I was watching them play & my mum was telling me how nice she was & how I couldn’t have chosen a better girlfriend. I was so pleased that everyone liked her.
“Are you staying for tea Emma?” My dad asked.
“Urm only if you don’t mind.” She replied politely. I loved how polite she was in front of my parents.
“Oh it would be fine!” My mum agreed.
Emma smiled widely at me & I smiled back. She came to sit on the sofa next to me & I held her hand smiling. Emma had warmed up to my family a lot more than she had when she had first met them.
“HELLO!!!” Screamed a too familiar voice from the door.
“Louis shut up.” said a faint voice from the same place also familiar.
“UNCLE LOUIS AUNTIE AMIE!!!” Olivia screamed & ran out to the front door.
We heard their whole conversation.
“Hey pumpkin how you doing?” Louis.
“I’m good. Matthews girlfriend is here!” Olivia said. I saw Emma’s cheeks go red.
“Oh shall we go see her then?” Amie.
Then Olivia came running into the living room & stood in front of me & Emma. Emma had suddenly turned all shy again. Louis & Amie walked in the room & Mum & Dad got up to hug them. Emma & I stood up also & I hugged Uncle Louis & Auntie Amie.
“This is Emma!” Olivia screeched holding onto one of Emmas hand with both of hers.
“Hi.” Emma said & her cheeks flushed a scarlet colour.
“Hey!” Louis said & looked over at me while I was holding her hand keeping her close & he mouthed ‘You’ve done well’
“Hello.” Auntie Amie said smiling to her. “Don’t be scared I still remember meeting Louis family. I was terrified!” She told Emma.
Emma laughed in response & nodded her head.
“I was just about to put on dinner.” my mum told Auntie Amie.
“Oh good chuck us something on!” Auntie Amie laughed.
“Oh I will.” Mum laughed. & walked into the kitchen with Auntie Amie following.
Me & Emma sat down on the sofa & Uncle Louis, Dad & Olivia sat down also. Olivia on Uncles lap.
We talked about Emma until dinner was ready we all sat at the table & served our dinner. We ate our dinner & talked while eating. We all went back to sit in the living room & we got out the guitar & started playing. Dad & Uncle Louis sang first to kick things off. They sang Torn remembering the first time the band had sang together. Mum & Amie sang next singing Anything But Ordinary by Avril Lavigne just because they wanted to. Mum & Olivia went next singing the Alphabet song. Then everyone decided that it was my turn to sing. I decided to sing Little things because my parents have been singing it to me since i was born & It was the first song i had heard. Also because I wanted to sing it to Emma. I had learnt it on the guitar to my dad handed me the guitar. I began strumming & singing. I kept looking at Emma & she blushed whenever I looked at her. All of us had a smile plastered on our faces the whole song. Once I had finished everyone clapped.
“Matthew I never you could sing that well, or play the guitar!” My mum said.
“Nor did I” Auntie Amie agreed.
“I heard him practicing in his bedroom once but now I know why.”Dad said & i blushed. So did Emma because she had caught on that i learnt for her.
“Well my dad is Niall Horan & I do have a musical background.” I pointed out. Everyone laughed.
“Emma sing!” Olivia shouted. She absolutely loved Emma.
“Yeah come on Em.” I encouraged her.
“What song?” I asked her.
“Bleeding love.” She suggested.
She sang her song & she sounded like an angel. I will say that about her singing until the day I die.
Once she had finished her song everyone clapped & cheered.
“You are amazing!” Pointed out my mother.
“& You don’t have a record deal yet?” My dad asked & Emma shook her head.
“OH WOW! That was amazing!” Uncle Louis agreed.
“Girl! You are better than Louis!” Auntie Amie laughed & Uncle Louis pretended to look hurt!
“Oh so that is how it is?” Uncle Louis asked.
“You know I love you Lou!”
“Ha! I know!” Uncle Louis shouted. We all laughed at the goofy couple.
“I think it is time I get back. Thank you so much for the dinner & the music.” Emma thanked getting up. I got up after her & said I would walk her out.
She said her goodbyes & I walked her out the front.
“My mum will be here in a min.” She said.
“Thank you for coming over my family love you!” I told her.
“They are such nice people.”
“Thank you.”
“I Love You Matthew.”
“I Love You Too Emma”
I kissed her passonately & then her mums car pulled up next to us.
“Thank you Matthew, I love you!” She called getting into the car.
“Love you too” I said & watched her drive off.
